Something More

A slight squeaking sound echoed around the large room as the yellow-coated blue-haired stallion opened the doors, "Your... You highness? You wanted to see me?" Flash Sentry asked the princess before him.

"Yes, I wanted to talk to you about something." Celestia started, "And you aware of the fact that we will be getting guards for Princess Twilight?" Princess Celestia asked, Flash nodded,

"Well, we will be sending only one guard to ease the pressure on her-because it might be too much to take in at once, you know?" Dammit, Celestia! You messed up there. He's caught on by now, hasn't he? Princess Celestia stated, Flash nodded, he noticed something off about Celestia, but he decided to ignore it.

"So, we have decided to really ease down the pressure would be to send a guard that she would be friends with, or at least aquianted with. And talks." Celestia ended that last part with a chuckle.

Flash nodded, once again, seeing where the conversation was heading,

"So, we've decided to chose you, after all, you have bumped into her a few times, haven't you?" She asked him with a sarcastic smile.

"Y-Yes..." Flash said as a light blush crossed his face,

"Well? What are you waiting for? I told her a guard would be at her door around this time, go!" Celestia said as she playfully scooted him away, and with that, Flash left.

"...Cadence? Are you really sure about this? If things don't work out the way you want them to-" Princess Celestia started before she was cut off,

"Yes, I'm sure it will work out just fine. I mean, I am the Princess of Love after all, aren't I?" Cadence said,

Celestia sighed, "Very well, after all, who am I to doubt the Princess of Love?" Celestia ended with a smile, Cadence smiled back,

"The only things that could possibly go wrong is if Shining catches the two in "their moment"." Cadence ended.

As Flash trotted off to the room Twilight was staying at, he found the lavender alicorn already heading off to the garden, he found himself blushing while staring at Twilight's flank, Twilight heard the sound of hoof steps and prepared herself.

"Who goes there?" Twilight asked, she flared her wings, ready to blow up the pony who was behind her,

"I-I'm your n-new personal guard, M-Miss Princess T-Twilight Sparkle..." Flash said as he trembled in fear,

"Oh! S-Sorry!" Twilight apologized, she turned red when realizing who her personal guard was, "Flash Sentry?" Twilight said, Flash nodded,

"You... Know my name?" Flash asked, Twilight nodded,

"After we bumped into each other I asked Cadence who you were." Twilight said, "Oh." Flash responded, then they just stood around with a while just twiddling with their hooves.

"Were you going to the garden?" Flash asked,

"Oh, yes. Would you like to accompany me?" Twilight asked,

"Well, that's basically a guard's job." He said with a sheepish grin, they then went to the garden.

Once Twilight found a place in the garden to where the most stars would be visible, she plopped herself down on the grass and pulled out a telescope and a book, "The stars look beautiful tonight," Flash started, Twilight snickered,

"The stars are beautiful every night, Romeo." She said with a smile, a very small blush crossed Flash's face,

Twilight shivered, "Cold, Princess?" Flash asked,

"Yes, but don't worry, I'm pretty sure I bought a scarf with me." Twilight said, sho opened her saddlebag and looked in.

"Dang it, I could've sworn I bought it, whatever, it's not that cold anyway." Twilight stated, Flash cleared his throat as he scooted Twilight's scarf a bit more to the side, he then stretched his wings and tucked in his right one, leaving his left wing to gently fall on Twilight, he looked in Twilight's direction, while Twilight looked in his, the tip of their muzzles touched,

Twilight then felt pressure against her lips, her eyes widened, but she didn't pull away, instead, she closed her eyes and let her ears drop down, as did Flash, his tongue wrapped around hers, she moaned against his lips, and though it only lasted no less than a minute, it felt like eternity.

"FLASH SENTRY!" A voice boomed through out the garden, Flash then quickly pushed Twilight away and stood up,

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU!" Shining yelled, "WHAT IS YOUR JOB AS A GUARD?! BECAUSE ITS NOT TO MAKE OUT WITH MY SISTER! THAT'S FOR DAMN SURE!" Shining yelled,

"M-My job I-is to protect P-Princess Twilight, S-Shining Armor, sir." Flash answered as he legs shook,

"What? I was never told about- NEVER MIND THAT! EVEN IF YOUR JOB IS TO PROTECT TWILIGHT, WHY WERE YOU MAKING OUT WITH HER?!" Shining yelled,

"We weren't making out..." Flash said, Shining slapped him leaving a red mark on Flash's cheek, he looked up at Shining,

"LOOK HERE, SENTRY! I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU WERE DOING! YOUR FIRED! AND YOU WILL ALSO BE ARRESED FOR SEXUAL HARRASMENT, NEED I SAY, TO ROYALTY!" Shining yelled.

"Shining Armor." Twilight finally spoke up, "What you saw was not "sexual harrasment", it was just a kiss. Nothing more, nothing less. And also..." Her eyes drifted off to Flash, thinking if she should tell the white lie,

"...I kissed him. Not the other way around." Twilight stated,

"What? Why in Equestria would you want to kiss this-this fool?" Shining asked in a much, much more calmer voice,

"Because..." She coyly took Flash's right hoof, "I love him." A light blush spread around both their cheeks, Shining glared at Flash, "You little-" "Ahem!" Twilight interrupted Shining's insult toward Flash,

"This ain't over, Sentry." Shining said before he left.

"Phew! That was cl-" Flash pulled Twilight into a hug before she could finish her sentence,

"Thank you so much! I thought he was going to kill me!" Flash said,

"Knowing him, he probably would've..." Twilight said with a giggle, she felt herself stand on something soft,

"What's this? Is this my... Scarf? What's it doing out here...?" She looked over at Flash, he smiled sheepishly, "Oh, you little flirt." She kissed him once again, they spent the whole night together, constantly receiving kisses from each other.

"See? What do you think?" Cadence asked Celestia as she projected what was happening in the garden,

"You want to know what I think?" Celestia asked, Cadence nodded,

"I think the fact that your magic can eavsdrop on couples, and the fact that you do, is an invasion of privacy." Celestia said,

"You know what? I'll take that as a "Good job, Cadence!"" Cadence said with a grin, Celestia just shook her head and laughed.
