Princess Luna walked down the corridor to her quarters after the moon sank in the distance and the sun began to rise. She had been tired all night because she stayed up and helped her sister, Princess Celestia, princess of the sun, with tax papers all day yesterday.

"Why must I be so nice, that I help her all the time," Luna said to herself, "I mean, she knows how to do papers, but I think she's too lazy to do them by herself!" Princess Luna was really starting to think that. She stopped at her chambers big, dark blue, double doors with a picture of the moon in the middle. Ordering the guards at the door to open it, she suddenly felt sick. Her stomach churned and her head ached. As she was throwing up she saw darkness cloud over her door, then the guards as they ran to help her, then herself.

Princess Luna awoke in a dark forest that was not familiar. Getting up, a dark shadowy figure caught her eye. She turned to look at what it was, but it was gone. Shaking that off The Lunar princess of dreams could tell this forest was part of a dream. But whom's? Deciding to explore, hoping to find out who this dream belongs to.

That question was answered almost as soon as she asked. Footsteps were hitting the ground hard behind her. She turned around and a dark figure jumped over her. And behind it was a creature she had never seen before, it had a bulky grey build, it was using seven long, skinny, black legs to run, and its face was an abomination of multiple rows of razor sharp teeth and dozens of terrifying, soulless eyes. Seeing such a monster, Luna froze in fear.

Being in such a strange dream she couldn't tell if she could be harmed. That was answered soon after it saw her. Opening its mouth, it spewed a black acid at her. Having the acid hit her hooves Luna saw it burned through her hooves. Yowling in surprised pain Princess Luna fell to the ground, and the monster grabbed her back legs and spit some more acid on her, but instead of burning it covered her body in a black sticky goo. She screamed.

"Let me go, you ugly beast! I shall have thou killed for handling me like this."

'Shit, shit, shit! I gotta stop having these nightmares!' (This is the thoughts of the dark figure Luna saw.)
Running through the same forest over and over in this never ending nightmare. 'Why can't I forget this night? I need to forget this.'

As it was running it saw... a horse? Wait, what, never mind. It couldn't stop for anything, or anyone. Jumping over the horse thing it made a mad dash for a cave.

'Finally, I'm away from the skreet! Damn things won't leave me alone.' Its break was cut short when it heard high pitched screaming. ' Dammit, I just can't get a break can I? Sprinting towards the source of the screaming he saw it was the horse thing it saw earlier. The horse had a dark blue mane, and coat and its mane was flowing in non-existent wind.

"Let me go you!" The strange horse thing yelled at the skreet. Seeing the skreet open its mouth to put the horse in to eat, it ran towards the two and jumped on the skreet. It climbed up one of its legs and onto the front of the skreet's face, pulling a knife out from under its cloak it stabbed the skreet over and over in the eyes. It fell to the ground with an audible thud. It looked at the horse and noticed it was a little small to be a horse, more of pony size?

Cutting the pony out of the goo it asked 'Why help me? You don't even know me and what I'm doing in your dream." Standing silent for a few moments the pony broke the silence. "What was that thing that attacked me, was it part of your nightmare? I can help you if yo-"

"No! I don't need your help, but you need mine. Actually your whole world will, so listen here."

"Wait, you mean to tell me my whole world is in danger? When will this happen, what will happen, why will this happen, who will cau-"

The dark figure cut her off again, "I can't tell you that but, what I can tell you is this. No matter what you do you can't stop it without the help of," the shadowy figure looked her in the eyes for dramatic effect "Guardians.

Luna was confused at what the thing said. Guardians, what were guardians? She had to ask. "If you don't mind me asking, what are Guardians?" The dark figure could only answer this question.

"You will soon find out. Goodbye." And with that last word Luna was whisked away back into the waking world.

Standing alone in the dark forest the being said to himself, "I just hope we'll be able to save this world. And not being put into the world by being a meteor again, because that hurts like hell when you land."
