Chapter 1 - A lesson learned the hard way
Zealth, as every other Pokemon, was born from an egg, his parents where of differents species, pokemons often fell in love whit other pokemon from sometimes different species, that was not uncommon, his father was a Haxorus, and his mother of course was a Garchomp.
He was a meat-eating pokemon, his favorite meat was of water type pokemons, like Magikarp and Luvdisc, he didnt like to kill intelligent pokemon, there are a few non sentient pokemon, and he only eated them, he was mostly happy, living in a desert whit his family until he evolved into a Garchomp, then he went on a travel, he was adult now, he wanted to get a new place for himself alone, to train and to become even more powerful, so he traveled, he traveled for weeks.
He was happy to be in a quiet place, he was a really powerful pokemon, and he knew he wasnt going to be bothered by any other pokemon, sometimes he get into fights to train and gain experience, and he eventually decided to start exploring Cerulean Cave, he was just close to the exit, and there was a river outside, he made a little place to sleep, he started to get further into the cave, even further than he ever has traveled into, he had a feeling that something was watching him, but he just keep going further into the cave, it was not too dark for him.
"This place is really quiet, i wonder if there is some other pokemon like me here, someone who would be a real challenge to train whit" He thought.
'You are right, this is why i moved here into this cave, i enjoy the relaxing and quiet environment from this place... and welcome by the way'
The dragon jumped a feet into the air startled "WHAT ?! who's there?" He turned around and didnt found anyone, and that voice has come like it was just next to him, he realized after a second that the voice actually was in his head, like it... "A psychic type... where are you?!"
"I apologize for startle you, and im right here ."
Zealth turned around and he saw the strangest pokemon he had ever seen, it was his same height, but it looked bigger, his tail was purple and the rest of the body was a light grey colour, his form was humanoid, but he didnt look anything like a human, he was the first time Zealth had seen that kind of pokemon.
"Dont worry, i just was exploring this place" he said politely "so... hello, my name is Zealth, i just moved here for a while, i mean, im just close to the entrace of the cave. What's your name? i didnt know any kind of pokemon like you, but if im right, and you are who spoke in my head, you are a Psychic type?"
The dragon jaw was hanging open, 'a Legendary pokemon? here in this cave? This cannot be coincidence! this was an unique chance to battle a Legendary, i dont know how strong he is, well, lets give it a try, anyways, this cannot be that difficult...' he thought to himself, he didnt know his thoughts were being readed.
"Well, you are the second Legendary i met! I wanna ask you something... Can we have a fight? I mean as a training of course... When i was a Gible i met Zygarde back in Kalos, and since i met him i always wanted to battle a Legendary!" He practically bounced in place excited. Mewtwo raised looked at Zealth doubtfully and shrugged.
"Okay, if you wish to have a fight, i dont see the problem, let this be a lesson for you..." Mewtwo grinned to Zealth and they both moved into place 15 feet from the other, Mewtwo spoke in Zealth mind -'The rules are simple, fight until you cannot fight or until or until one of us surrenders ' Zealth nodded and started running towards Mewtwo, who stood in place, whit his eyes closed and his arms crossed, he tried to use Crunch on Mewtwo, he knew that if he was a Psychic, it was the better he could do to defeat him fast, Zealth was fast, really fast, in 1 and a half second he reached Mewtwo, but when he was about to attack, he simply stopped, he couldn't move, he struggled against the psych attack but it was no point to try to get free, he could't even close his jaws, he started to hyperventilate, he could't even talk. Suddenly after half minute he was throw back and into the cave side mighty force, his back hitting the cave really fast.
'nice try, but im not that easy to get ' Mewtwo spoke into the dragon's head.
The Garchomp growled and started to get up, wincing and trying to ignore the pain of having one of his ribs cracked, he looked at Mewtwo who was grinning at him and started to run towards him again, but this time whit a different idea, he didnt get too close, he stoped 10 feet from him and a sandstorm started to form in the cave, the Dragon type digged under the ground at a incredible speed and made his wat to the place Mewtwo was standing over, he was about to break trough the surface and use Crunch again, but when he tried to dig to surface, something stopped him, he tried whit his claws to dig trough but it was solid, the ground above him had become as solid as the hardest stone, he tried again and again, until he just gave up and tried to get away from there underground, from where he dig before, his eyes widened as something catched his tail and started to pull him towards the place he tried to dig trough, he was scared, he couldn't hold of anything, he tried to get hold of something but it was all dirt, so he got pulled in front of Mewtwo, Zealth was hanging upside down, he struggled trying to attack him, he tried to use his ultimate attack, he knew it was the only chance to get free and maybe do something about the battle.
When he tried to use Outrage, his ultimate and most powerful attack, Mewtwo let him go, and Zealth simply fell to the floor, facefirst, and then he started to feel a pressure in his back, he tried to resist and the force started to get stronger and started to get hard to breathe, the pain was getting worse, whit his last bit of energy he managed to say -"I s-surrender, p-please let me go..." and then the beaten Dragon type's vision turned black. Mewtwo looked at him whit an apologetic look 'you are a strong pokemon, but you have to learn that fighting a Legendary is not that simple, nice try ' Mewtwo moved close to him and put his hand on Zealth's back, wich started to glow pink...
Author's Note
Hello, this is the first story i write in all my life, and this isn't my main lenguaje, i will try to improve everything whit time and practice, i hope you enjoy the short and easy to win battle where Mewtwo played a moment whit my Pokemon oc :3 The story is gonna get into the Equestria side in the near future, dont worry, this is like a intro to show some of my ideas, im sure you know what Mewtwo is going to do. Please, let me know my mistakes and i will try to correct everything.

Chapter 2 - New friends and a new challenge
After a couple of minutes of being unconscious, Zealth started to wake up slowly, he was feeling good, a little sore in the back but he didn't feel like he was beaten that bad just minutes ago, he started to stand and moved into a comfortable position, and looked to Mewtwo. -"H-how...? how am i awake and why anything hurts anymore?" He tilted his head to the side while looking at the Legendary.
"When you fainted, i just healed you. You gave a good battle considering that you aren't a Legendary, but you cant touch me whit simple physical attacks, i know what you tried to do, it was a good strategy, if i wheren't who i am, i dont think i whould be able to block your attacks that easily, im sorry to say this but i was playing whit you for a while... I get bored here sometimes and i wanted to have a little fun, hope you dont mind, also you have to learn your place, is not a easy thing to beat a legendary, maybe if you join a trainer and get to train whit him and beat the Leage you will get stronger enough to do it, maybe". At that the Dragon type's face flushed whit embarrassment and a little annoyance.
"Well i dont want to be a pet to anyone ! I like being free and just follow my own rules, i dont want to be part of a human's team. I want to find a place where i dont have to worry about being captured by trainers and used as a tool!" he yelled angrily, losting his temper. Mewtwo glared at him, but then his gaze softened and he smiled.
"Im sorry! i didn't meant to snap at you, i better be going now... And thanks for give me a chance to battle you mister Mewtwo, and thanks for healing me afterwards, if you weren't kind enough to do it, i whould have died here, you where trowing me around like a ragdoll!" Zealth laughed, already feeling a lot better. He nodded his head to the Legendary and exited the cave.
'I will miss that guy, i never knew anyone that strong, and he was kind enough to even heal me after that fight!' he thought to himself, -'but... maybe i should get to town and figure out in wich direction is Sinnoh...'
So he flew above the river and the forest and headed to Cerulean City, he landed outside the city and walked in, there where a lot of humans staring at him, he just ignored them and keep going, he actually liked human citys, they where a real cool place to be, there was a lot to see, and it really felt like he wanted to have some of the stuff that humans selled in the stores, but he knew that he needed money, so he just keep going.
Some people was staring at him whit fear, like expecting him to jump and attack them, others watched him pass curiously, he waved a claw and smiled to some humans and pokemons, most of the pokemons in the city where kids, mostly Water types, he didnt smell anything like a Dragon type close, he could smell some Ghost types in the city, most ghost lived near towns, in abandoned houses or ancient ruins.
After walking for a while longer heard from some humans talk about battling a gym leader in that city, he knew that in some towns there was a pokemon gym, a place where trainers from that region went to get a badge, when they get the 6 badges, they could finally challenge the Pokemon Leage, and if they suceeded they could go for the Champion title, fight and win against the Elite 4 and the Champion him/herself, and the battles went whitout rest, that means they couldn't get to a Pokemon Center after each battle, but they where allowed to heal their pokemon whit Full Restore or some other Potions and recover their energy.
'May as well challenge the gym leader and have some fun while im here, thanks to Mewtwo's Heal Puse i feel really powerful and rested.' He thougth, however, the problem was... he didn't know if he could simply go to the gym and challenge the trainers and the gym leader by himself, he maybe... needed a trainer, a temporary one, and he didn't speak human!
He needed a way to comunicate whit some trainer that wanted to challenge the gym leader.
'So... if i want to speak whit a human... humans can read and write, i can only read because dad taught me, wait... some pokemons can directly speak to humans whit a mind link, Psychic type pokemons can do that, and some Sinister and Ghost, but where i can find some who want to help me? i could ask Mewtwo, but i dont want to bother him whit my problems anymore, soo im going search for a psychic pokemon~'.
"Hey, hello miss, my name is Zealth, i want to ask you something, if you don't mind of course..."
She looked at him and smiled.
"Hello Zealth, nice to meet you, my name is Lilly". She looked at him in the eyes and he blushed, and shook his head. She chuckled softly and asked "what is that you need Zealth? what can i do for you?"
"I need a way to speak whit your trainer, i want to be a temporary part of your team, your trainer want to beat the city gym right? i want it too, i mean, at least fight some of the battles if thats okay whit her and all of her team, including you, can you please tell her that?" She nodded
Her trainer noticed Lilly wasn't at her side and started searching for her pokemon, when she saw the Kirlia in front of a fully grown Garchomp her eyes widened and she gasped in alarm, but she calmed herself, maybe they were just talking, she couldn't just panick for that, she calmed herself and went to where both pokemon where talking, Zealth looked at her and smiled, waving a claw in a friendly way, trying to look friendly, as friendly as a dragon could look, she calmed and Lilly opened a mental link whit her, she could feel the calmness and peace in Lilly's mind, so she relaxed, and Lilly said
'Dont worry, he is Zealth, he wanted to join our team to help us win the Gym Leader Misty, he wanted me to tell you that its just temporary he is a nice pokemon, and also really powerful, i will add him to our conversation, let me ask him if i can.'
'Ok, i'll wait'
"Hey Zealth, wanna join us in a mental link so you can explian Mary what you want to do? I have to link you, so please relax and don't fight it"
"Thanks you Lilly, I will let you link us for a talk".
'Hello? Can both of you hear and understand me?'
'Hi... I can understand you, your name is Zealth right? My Name is Mary as you sure already know. Lilly sure hears you right?' Lilly nodded and smiled, not wanting to interrupt the conversation.
'Hey Mary it's nice to meet you' He smiled at her. 'Yes my name is Zealth, I wanted to talk about something, I need a favor from you, I want to beat a Pokemon Gym, but I know it isn't possible to challenge the gym if you aren't a trainer, and I don't really am one, I wanted to join you as your pokemon until we win the gym and then I'll leave you and be on my way, I don't like being a trainer's Pokemon and I absolutely hate pokeballs, so I will remain at your side all the time and when it's my time to fight, you simply tell me, so...' He smiled and winked to her, and that made her laugh. 'What do you say, want to be my teammate on this?'
'I... Yes, I cannot let a chance like this to waste, it's actually my first gym badge, if we make it, and if you join us, we have a chance, a really good chance to win! I really don't understand why you don't want to be in a pokeball, but I'm not gonna worry about that If you like it that way, but... I really don't have an idea of what you can do... You need to tell me what moves you know so I can tell you what to do, is not that I don't trust your judgement, but one rule of the gym battle league is that you must say what attack your Pokemon gonna use before attacking, and that's the only thing we need and we're all set! Yay we gonna win our first badge~'
'Thank you, this is fucking awesome! I never had a battle against a gym trainer before, I can tell you all the moves I know, so... You know a lot about Pokemon moves right?' Mary nodded.
'Actually I want to become a Pokemon Professor when I grow up, I know a lot about Pokemon moves, so don't worry, just tell me what you know and I'll understand mister Zealth' She grinned at the dragon.
'I know you will become a great Pokemon Professor Mary, and you will get the badge of this gym' He smiled warmly 'I know a lot of moves really, I always since I was a Gible, I practiced a lot whit my friends, we fought everyday to get stronger and learn moves, I have a lot of friends, of many species, and my dad taught me really good about the world I live in, about the humans, he teaches me how to read, and mom taught me about pokemon moves, also my friends taught me his moves, I know Crunch, Dig, Earthquake, Dragon claw, Outrage, Flamethrower, Fire spin, Fire, Thunder and Poison Fang, sandstorm, Dragon Pulse, Extreme speed, double team and air slash that's all I remember at the moment, I used to know more but I didn't use them now. What do you think?' Zealth looked at her in the eyes and tilted his head waiting for her answer.
'Whoa! You a LOT of attacks, you really are a high level and really really powerful pokemon! I mean, you even could beat all the gym trainers alone! You are awesome, and you are the nicest Dragon type I know, actually you are the only I have ever met in real life'
He blushed a little, he had never been told he was awesome and strong for other more than his mother, and a few friends who he has beaten before, years ago. He just liked to fight and always was training. He smiled at her and nuzzled her in the arm, she hesitated but relaxed and started petting his head, he smiled and closed his eyes, it was the first time he was petted in the head and humans hand where really soft...
'Heh... Feels nice but you better find a place to rest, it's really late in the night and also people are staring at us...' She realized that he was right and blushed while he was chuckling. 'Dont worry Mary, I'll be going to sleep in the forest, tomorrow morning we meet right in this place and then we go to the gym to get your badge, I promise you, we will win!'
'Hey wait! Don't go, you can come whit us, you can come to my house and sleep in the guests room, it's a not really far away and my parents gonna like you' She grinned and placed an arm around his back 'i promise you, I will make you feel part of the family, I owe you at least that' She smiled warmly.
'Well really thank you for this, never had I slipped in a human bed, you are really nice... You don't try to make me join your team right?' He raised an eyebrow suspiciously, then started laughing and a little after she joined.
The 3 of them reached the house and Mary entered and talked whit her parents, she convinced them of letting the Dragon type sleep in the guest room, she told them everything and they hesitated, but give way and accepted Zealth into the house, they had dinner, a delicious Tauro steak, and potato salad, both things the dragon eaten whit gusto, but he hesitated at the dessert, it was a giant bowl of ice cream, he... Well he didn't mind the flavor, it tasted delicious, but he didn't like cold and frozen things, so he used a Fire fang and started eating, the ice cream instantly melting in his jaws. Once they all had eaten, they headed to sleep, Zealth was shown his room and he bowed his head in respect at Mary's mom, Alice.
The bed was really comfy and he drifted to sleep in minutes, he dreamed of a Legendary, Mewtwo, and the battle they had, if it could count as a battle, he didn't think so... He really didn't feel bad for losing, he should have know better, a Legendary, it's a big deal, he knew his strength, he was powerful but what he could do if he was lifted from his tail like a fished would do to a Magikarp? Well, at least he was fine, the only thing Mewtwo had broken was his pride, and one or two ribs maybe, but he healed him afterwards! He then dreamed of the day's events, walking in town and meeting Lilly and Mary, and the promise he made to her, they'll gonna beat the gym leader Misty and win the badge!
He waken up whit the sunrise, well not really, it was 9 am and he was really hungry, he didn't remember a more pleasant night of sleep, humans bed where awesome! -'Hmm I guess I overslept, better get to clean up and search for breakfast...' He jump from the bed and went outside of the room, when he reached the kitchen, they where all already having breakfast, he told Lilly to tell Mary he was going to clean up in the river and was back in 10min, she told him he could get some breakfast there if he wanted, he refused politely, waved goodbye and went outside, once in a clear space he started to run and gain speed and he flied to the river, it was 3 miles from there, but he could fly almost to the speed of sound, in half a minute he landed and started to clean himself, then fished a couple of Magikarp, he proceeded to hold them in his claws and cook them whit a really low power Flamethrower, just low enough to not incinerate, obviously he ended the other pokemon's life first whit a claw in their brain trough their eyes, he didn't make any prey suffer, it doesn't matter if it was sentient or not. He eated the flesh enjoying the taste, he really liked cooked Magikarp!
Once finished breakfast, he returned to Mary's house and landed close to the door.
"I'm back, Lilly when you two are ready lets go and win that badge!" He said cheerfully "I'm gonna be waiting here, dont worry and take your time"
"Actually we almost finish eating breakfast, I see you are really excited about this battle, so am I" She smiled at him and he smiled back, he was excited indeed, it was their first gym battle after all, he didn't know what he was going after. 'Hey Zealth I didn't ask you, you know what we're gonna be against today right?' She spoke in his mind.
'Actually I have no idea, anyone told me anything, I just heard from some humans that there was a Gym Leader named Misty...'
'Hello Zealth, good morning, how did you sleep last night?'
'Hi Mary, really thank you for the bed and everything, humans bed are really comfortable, best sleep I ever had in a long time, and how are you? Did you sleep well yourself?'
'Oh is no problem! It's the less I can do, I'm gonna be sincere about this, I didn't really slept that much, I'm nervous about the battle, I know it's silly... It's... It's just that I never fight for a gym badge and everyone says Misty has powerful Pokemon and I...' She got close and hugged both of them, Who hugged her back and smiled. 'You are the only I can count on, It doesn't matter if we win or lose, I love you both, we are a team now' Tears streamed down her face while she hugged the two pokemon, Zealth started to feel strange, he could feel the girl's feelings, and the Pokemon girl's feelings too, and he reassured them whit his calmness and they both smiled at him 'thanks Zealth, you always are calm and always care about your friends, cuz we are friends now right?' He nodded, she felt a lot better and excused herself, and went whit Lilly to wash her face, then the three of them went walking and in the way to the gym, the girls explained to the dragon what they were against, he was reassuring them about the battle, he know what to do in any situation, even if the rival Pokemon had ice attacks, he could evade at incredible speeds.
"Well... We're here!" Mary said cheerfully. "We should train whit some of the gym trainers and then we will be able to challenge Misty, First battle is going to fight Lilly, are you ready sweetheart? I know you can do it! Just relax and concentrate, you'll gonna do fine"
They entered the gym and there was a guy who told them the rules, and eyed suspiciously at Zealth, but didn't say anything, they had to fight 2 trainers and then they could fight against Misty, the Gym Leader.
First it was turn of the Kirlia to give her best in battle, the other trainer send out a Squirtle. -"Squirtle use water gun!" The trainer, who was a kid said, Squirtle shot a short beam of water at Lilly.
"Lilly quick! Use Teleport and when you are behind him use thunderbolt." The Kirlia did as she was told and the Squirtle's water gun hit the ground and did nothing, he was confused, where was that Kirlia? He heard something behind him, then he realized what had happened, she had teleported, he tried to move to the side but it was too late, the thunderbolt attack hit him in the arm and send him flying a couple of feet back, he screamed in pain, being weak against electric attacks, and Lilly's special attack made her hit even harder whit that type of attack, the poor Squirtle tried to get up, only managed to fall backwards, he was out.
"Squirtle cannot keep fighting, And the winner is Mary!" The referi announced and Mary and Lilly cheered and hugged eachother, Zealth was watching from a dark corner of the room, and smiled at them, he wanted to surprise the gym leader when it was his turn to get in the battle.
"Well done miss Mary, your Kirlia the strongest Pokemon I ever saw! Eh... Well Misty's Pokemon are stronger I believe, good luck! I better get Squirtle to a Pokemon Center, You need to beat one more trainer and then Misty, bye!"
"Good bye and take care of Squirtle, Lilly say she is sorry about that!" She waved and the kid went out.
"Now time to the next trainer, are you ready Lilly?" The psychic type nodded and smiled, she wasn't even tired, this was just getting started.
A old woman entered the ring, she greeted Mary and the referi announced the start of the fight -"Poochyena go!" The Pokemon went out whit a red flash of light from the pokeball and growled -"you gonna lose this little fairy! You have no chance" The Dark type glared at the Kirlia
"We're about to find out if you're right" She smiled and relaxed to increase her psychic powers.
"Kirlia energy ball!" Mary ordered and a green sphere of light and energy started to form in the fairy type's chest, and she launched it where the Poochyena was standing.
"Poochyena dodge and use tackle!" He started to run to her.
"Lilly watch out he is gonna hit you from behind! Lilly didn't hesitated and teleported to the side. "Excellent now use Disarming Voice!" The Kirlia started to sing softly and her eyes started to glow pink, and Poochyena fell to the floor trying to cover his ears whit his paws, and crying out in pain, the Fairy type move hurting him, he was unable to move now.
"No! Poochyena get away from there! Move!" His trainer told him, but it as too late...
Mary smirked "Lilly, use Draining Kiss" The psychic/fairy got close to the Dark type and kissed him in the nose, his face went pale, and then he fainted, all his energy drained.
"Poochyena cant keep fighting, the winner is Mary and her Pokemon Lilly!" The referi announced again, somewhat cheerfully.
Mary was really happy now, she congratulated her Pokemon and thanked the other woman for the awesome fight her Poochyena gave them, the. Said goodbye and told the referi she was ready to challenge the Gym Leader.
Misty was having a peaceful day, well actually she was bore to death, anyone had come to challenge her in almost a week, they needed to beat the 2 gym trainers to be able yo challenge her, and not everyone could do that, but today was different, she was called to the gym to battle a girl who has beaten the 2 gym trainers, and she wanted to get the Cascade badge, so she was excited to finally have a Pokemon battle, she arrived to the gym and greeted the trainer who wanted to challenge her. -"Hello, my name is Misty and I'm the Gym Leader, you want to challenge me for the Cascade badge right?" Mary nodded.
"Hi Misty, it's nice to meet you, im Mary, and my friend here is Lilly, i have 1 pokemon, its my first badge by the way, but i have a new friend you see... now my team has 2 pokemons, he told me he wanted to battle you by himself, but the Gym rules say that a trainer must challenge the Gym lider, not a wild pokemon, so he asked me to tell you this, he just want to try new challenges, and he also wanted to help me win the Cascade badge, so he is temporary part of the team" She looked back to where Zealth was standing in the shadows, and called for him mentally. 'Hey its time, please come and say hello to the Gym Leader Misty!'
He smiled and walked to her side slowly but surely. -'Im ready, and contragulations to you and Lilly for the last 2 battles, you are a really awesome team you know?' She blushed but laughed and stroked his back whit her hand.
'We are a good team too, and we gonna give our best!' She looked at him whit hope, she had a chance and she was going to prove Misty she deserved the badge.
Misty gasped at the sight, -'A fully grown Dragon type ??!!! She stared at Zealth for minutes, unable to say something, she was scared, this pokemon looked really powerful, but it was not her place to question that, she had to accept and give her best, it was going to be an interesting battle....' She thought to herself,
"W-well, i can give you a regular battle, one against one, or a double battle, if you want to use 2 pokemons, what you like more" She hesitated, this was a Ground and Dragon type if she was right. "The battle is going to be in the pool right here, this Gym has a pool for the Water pokemon to battle, its made like a river, so if your pokemon dont like water, they can stay in the ground, or they can dig too, its half dirt and half water arena. You are okay whit that?" Misty asked her, she calmed herself, this was a ground type right? all her pokemons where water type, its gonna be an easy match, she smiled, and waited for the trainer's answer.
"Yes i guess its okay, we are ready, finally! im really excited about this, lets start when you are ready" She was really looking forward to see Zealth fight Misty's pokemons. "Im going to use only one pokemon for this battle" Mary said. "You should use 2 or 3 if you want, i guess its fair, i dont really know how strong is Zealth, but he looks like he could give a really good fight"
"I-i cant disagree whit that, he sure looks strong... Im gonna use 3 pokemon if thats okay" She smiled and made a gesture to the referi.
"Mary versus Misty, you can start now!" The referi announced.
"Goldeen go!" Misty called and the pokemon went in the water of the arena whit a red flash, Zealth was already in position in the ground, waiting. "Goldeen use Water Pulse!" The water type nodded and fired a circular stream of water from his mouth to the Garchomp.
"Zealth, use Dragon Pulse now!" Mary yelled, worried, but Zealth wasnt worried, he used a really soft attack and neutralized the Water Pulse, he didnt want to end this so quickly, so he used a really weak attack, he knew this pokemon was of a really low level, and if he was too rough, he could hurt badly Misty's pokemon, or even worse.
Misty looked at the dragon confused, how could he simply neutralize a water attack whit no effort? How?! It doesn't matter, she wasn't going to stop. "Goldeen use hidropump, full power!" She grinned, maybe he has tired after doing that impressive attack and he couldn't dodge the hidropump.
The dragon/ground type was still linked to Mary and Lilly, he reassured them about the battle, he knew now and was sure to win, her pokemons where inexperienced -"Zealth, double team." She said calmly, at that, Zealth started to move in circles at his top speed, making the illusion there where hundreds of him, even at that speed, he could see what was happening and where exactly he was, his senses where incredible, the time slowed for him, he could see the hidropump slowly approaching, he stopped next to the stream of water and stopped, breaking the double team illusion instantly, and the water passed by his side harmlessly. He grinned at the confused looking water type.
"Zealth, bite that Goldeen a little" Mary called, and he moved to do it so fast, that Goldeen didn't have time to react, Misty was unable to say anything, she didn't know what to do, that Garchomp was incredibly strong and fast. He gasped at the sight of her Goldeen in the jaws of the mighty dragon type, he slowly started to close, but he was really gentle, he didn't want to kill her pokemon, Goldeen screamed, she was powerless to do anything, her Goldeen who was a female told Zealth to release her, and she surrender, so he complied, she opened his jaws and let her go to the water unharmed, Goldeen swimming where her trainer was and jumped to her, Misty catched her in her arms.
"T-thank you for letting her go Zealth, I will take good care of her, I really thank you for not hurting her..." Misty said, she was crying but anyone noticed, only Lilly, she felt the worry that the Gym Leader had deemed when she saw her Pokemon in the jaws of Zealth, she tried to hide how terrified she was, but she couldn't give up.
"Staryu go!" Misty called, and in a flash, a 5 pointed star Pokemon whit a brown body in the extremities and a golden body, whit a red core which glows red, he had never seen a Pokemon like this, mostly because it was a sea pokemon, but his dad had told him and he knew what he needed to know, he could be a bit more serious and use some more power, this pokemon can regenerate his brown extremities, and he knew if the core light in the star shaped creature started to blink, he had to stop attacking.
"Staryu, use Swift!" Misty called, and Staryu fired a lot of yellow glowing stars from his core, Zealth knew that attack, a lot of Pokemon used it because it could be dodged, but it was a normal type attack, he simply stranded still and let all the stars hit his army's wings, they where really useful to block attacks, the scales in that area where really thick. He didn't really felt the attack, it was like someone throwing a pillow at him, he chucked.
"Zealth, use poison fang" So he started running and Starmie attacked again whit Swift, he blocked and jumped on top of the Water type, and held it whit his claws. Then he bite it hard, 2 appendages if the Staryu where into a incredible pressure, and purple venom was burning the skin if the poor water pokemon, Staryu couldn't talk, but his light was blinking rapidly, and when it stated to blink slower, like it was going to turn off, he let go of it, and jumped back into the ground.
"Staryu come back!" Misty called and bring a pokeball and in a flash of light, the star shaped Pokemon disappeared, she looked at the floor and started to cry softly, there was blood in the water, a lot of light blue blood of Staryu, and the jaws of Zealth where covered in the slimy substance. He noticed her cry, and then he noticed too the blood and the flavor of it in his mouth, it was different to most pokemons blood, but it was, but he didn't feel bad, he had just fight fairly and used his attacks in the other polemon's parts that could regenerate.
"Misty... I'm sorry, I hope Staryu gets better, I know that Zealth feeks the same, my team are all linked tramps to Lilly, she is a Psychic type, we share our feelings and thoughts, and he reassured me during the fight, he knew your pokemons where not at his level, and he say he wasn't going to hurt them that badly, he also told me that Staryu have amazing regenerative capacity and they could regenerate limbs if they lost them in a fight, so don't worry, he also say he's sorry to make you cry, he doesn't like to make others cry..." She sigued, she would feel bad too if something happened to Lilly, he would reacted even worse, Misty was really strong, maybe some day she could be as strong as she was, she hoped.
"No Mary, you where great" Misty smiled at her and walked to her "I know you have potential as a trainer, you knew exactly what to do, and when to do it, and you trusted in your pokemons and they trusted you, you deserv the Cascade badge, you have earned it, you and your team are amazing! you should follow your dreams, and always keep up, so..." Misty gave the Cascade badge to Mary and nodded smiling, she smiled back, she finally did it, now she was a step closer to become a Pokemon Professor! "Here you have, the next gym you should challenge is Brock's, his gym is specialized in Rock type, its in Pewter City. Thanks for that fight, the first time i lose like this... Anyways, good luck!"
"Thanks Misty, thank you, you really are a strong gym leader, i learned a lot, this was my first gym battle after all, good bye, dont forget to get your pokemons to the pokemon center!" Mary waved goodbye and she and her team exited the gym. After that, Misty went to the pokemon center to get her pokemons medical attention.
"So... what you're gonna do now Zealth? we already win the badge, and you had your fight... What would you like?
'You really are a good trainer, i never knew humans where so kind and nice, im sorry, i would like to stay whit you, be part of your team, but i must travel my own way, i want to meet more Legendary Pokemon, i will search for them, i fighted Mewtwo yestarday, you know who is Mewtwo by the way?'
'w-what? you know Legendary Pokemon? really?' Her eyes widened, she always wanted to see a Legendary, she hard stories, about some of them, maybe she could at least ask him and maybe learn something. 'So, what Legendary you have met? what where they like? Please do tell, i always dreamed whit meet one myself!' She grinned.
'Well, when i was just a little Gible, me and my parents met Zygade, he is huge! is tall like a house, his body is long, covered in scales green in the belly, chest and tail, and black in the back and the head, he doesnt have arms, his eyes look like green hexagons, in the back of the head he have 5 fins, whit a green gemstone in each one.' He smiled. 'Also he is really nice, he was nice to me and let me ride in his head when i was just little Gible, thats all i can say about him, all i remember.'
'And what other Legedary you have met? say you knew 2, who is the other one?' She looked at him doubfully.
'Its Mewtwo, he said he was a Legendary, i met him yesterday, i challenged him to a fight' He sighed. 'I tried to attack whit all my streght, i charged at him even faster that what you saw today to try to use Crunch, and he stopped he whit his psychic powers, then he... he held every muscle in my body, even my jaws in place, he just let me breathe, but i couldn't even speak, and then, after like 2 minutes like that, he trew me to the side whit incredible force, some of my ribs cracked, but i got up, and keep fighting, i created a sandstorm, then dig underground to attack from under his feet, it should have worked, but when i tried to break trought the surface, he made a shield and i couldn't break it, i tried everything but it was impossible, then i tried to fled underground to search for another way to attack him... i was getting weak, i could barely stand the pain, then... when i was getting away, underground, he somehow catched me, i dont know how he is so strong, he simply using his powers, take a hold of my tail and get me out of the dirt, like a fished getting a fish from the river, i really dont like that much remember that... then i tried to attack him, i was hanging upside down from my tail, y tried everything but he wasnt close enough, when i tried to attack him whit Outrage he dropped me, and i hit the ground facefirst, and i fainted, thats all i remember'. He shook his head, remember that almost made him cry, he had felt so powerless, so helpless, it was that what it feel to be a prey? He shrugged.
'Thats horrible! why you decided to fight him? He coul have easily killed you!' Mary yelled in his mind.
'He could have, bet he didn't, he was just accepting a challenge, It was my fault I got hurt. Also! You know why in fine and full of energy?' He smiled at her, he had already accepted his errors, he had learned the hard way. 'Because he healed me afterwards, he used a really powerful Heal Pulse, and in a couple of seconds I was up and alright, like in right now'
'B-but... Are you sure you are alright? I can take you to a Pokemon center if you want, at least to check if you are a-ok! I'm sure you didn't got hurt on this battle but... It's always good to be sure' She scratched his head and neck scales whit her hand.
He rolled his eyes at the display of affection, but slimed. -'If you say so... But we better get going, it's getting late and tomorrow I must go on my way, I want to visit new places!' He laughed and remembered something. 'Hey shouldn't you tell your parents the good news? They'll gona so proud and happy for you!'
'Mary, Zealth Is right, mom and dad are waiting, I told them we where going after beating the gym leader. Want me to teleport you both? Lilly asked.
'Yes please Lilly, they gonna be so happy!'
'Don't teleport me, I can just fly there, good luck, I'll be there a minute.' He hugged his new friends and in a flash, both girls where gone, he smiled, everything looked up, it was a nice day to fly, the sky was clean and dry, he take flight and headed toward the house, he noticed people watching him pass and waving at him so he waved back. 'I like towns, sometimes it just feels nice to have other pokemons or humans to talk to, well to communicate, this is a little but nice city' Zealth landed in the street a couple of feet from Mary's house.
"Please come in Zealth!" Mary's mother called from the door, nodded and follow her to the living room, where all the family was. They where all in the sofa, Mary was telling them about the battle. He waited politely until she finished to tell her parents the course of the battle. They where really happy, and congratulated her on winning the gym badge. His father told him
"Thank you Zealth, really thank you for helping out my daughter win that badge, that means a lot to me... So, I'm gonna give you something, I got this from a Pokemon Professor, he told me if I ever met a trainer whit a Garchomp, I should give them this, I know you don't want a trainer... So I been told, but doesn't matter, I can give you a backpack so you carry this whit you" He handled a backpack whit a wooden box inside, then helped the dragon to get it in his back. Zealth didn't know what to say, he didn't want to ask thing just for helping we friend win a badge, but he doesn't want to say no, and possibly make him feel bad, so he accepted and smiled at him. What was I. The box? He was going to find our sooner or later...
"Thanks for the help mister Zealth!" Mary's mother said cheerfully. She then gave him a little bag full if pokeblocks and a lot of berrys. He was told if he find the correct one, it was delicious and the effect was relaxing. He nodded and told Mary.
'Im sorry Mary, I should go now, I'm gonna miss you, you and your family, that includes Lilly too, I hope our paths will cross again in the future, you'll be the best Pokmon Professor ever I know it!" He smiled sadly, he didn't like to say goodbye, but he couldn't stay whit her.
She hugged him tight and didn't say anything, then she told her parents Zealth was going now, she tried to stay strong and don't cry.

A Dragon type's aventures
Chapter 3 - Everfree forest hunt (contain gore)
It was a rainy day it Ponyville, the crops and apples needed the rain to grow healthy, and the weather team provided it, collecting clouds into a huge cumulus of storm clouds, then the pegasi jumped on top if the clouds and started to rain, it was going to last 3 days.
Twilight Sparkle was in her new castle, she and Spike where making progress in a new research, Dimensional magic, it was something fascinating to her, after reading a book from Starswirl the Bearded, the most brilliant Mage of all recorded history, one of the oldest books in the library of the Pony Sisters Castle. In that book, Starswirl claimed to have seen beyond the bonds of infinity, he described how there was 9 different realms, 9 entire dimensions, and he theorized, he could open a temporary gate to other dimension if he had the Mana required, he succeeded in creating a really unstable gate, it didn't lasted more than a couple of hours, but what he saw was incredible.
Twilight wanted to make the research herself and then, when she find a way to create a stable gateway, she could publish the results to Princess Celestia, she wasn't her student anymore, but she still send her letters and loved her like a mother, but she wanted to probe herself to be capable of such a challenge.
"Spike! I got this, the spell matrix is here, and whit some corrections using actual mathematical equations I can find a way to make the portal big enough, and it could actually be possible to pass trough! But the problem is... Once open, if somepony travels into it, it's gonna close and it's gonna need to make it again from the other side. But anyways, it's gonna be a 30x30 hooves in size. A little too big but that better than too small."
"Sure... But it's not a little bit dangerous to open a gateway to another dimension? I mean, yeah, if you make it, you'll get resolved one of the most ancient mysteries of history... And be recognized as one of the best mages in all of Eqqus, well anyway, where you want to open the gateway? Maybe you should do it in the same place Starswirl did it, I don't know a lot about magic, but you told me that powerful spells leave a permanent signature in the magic of the place, and it's easier to try the spell in the same place, or something like that... Right?" He looked at her and raised an eyebrow.
"Wow Spike! You never stop to impress me, I didn't know you knew that much about advanced magic!" She said smiled, it was really exciting, she was going to be the first pony in recorded history to visit another entire dimension, a new realm, or at least find a way to do it.
"Well, I don't have a choice, you always talking about that makes hard not to learn it..." He rolled his eyes.
Twilight blushed "It's not like that! I talk about that just when in doing a research into advanced magic." She shook her head "but it doesn't matter, we should better get to the place and prepare everything, I'm going to take my saddlebag whit the books and some food, we're going to the Castle of the Pony Sisters!" She announced cheerfully.
"We have to go trough the Everfree Forest? Oh wait, we don't.. Sometimes I forget about your new powers... Hehe, so we just teleport there right?"
"Don't worry Spike, and yes" she grinned at the drake "I'm an alicorn now, we can teleport or I can fly you there, but I know you don't like flying so yes." She smiled and pushed him gently whit a hoof. "Don't you worry Spike, we are together and I can protect you little brother-number one assistant!" She laughed and Spike rolled his eyes but smiled at that.
"It's raining outside, I'm going to bring your saddlebag and an umbrella, and some food"
"Thanks Spike, don't worry, it's not gonna take more than a couple of hours to finish my test on the spell, and it should be safe, Starswirl developed a security measure to the spell, if the fabric of reality gets weak, the gateway should close itself to prevent anything dangerous".
"If you say so, i trust you on this, you are a Princess after all, you can handle this youself" He smiled at her "Im the only one who stay the same, it's so unfair... I wanna be at least your size!" Spike shrugged "but I have to wait a lot, dragons grow really really slow".
"You shouldn't feel bad for being little, you are a hero Spike, you saved a whole Empire! And you saved a lot if ponies in the Olimpic Games too, I'm really proud if you!" She hugged him tight and nuzzled her little brother.
Spike blushed and tried to get away from the mare, after a couple of seconds he resignated to his huggy fate and sighed "okay okay... Please let me go I need to breathe!" She laughed and let the dragon go.
"Get ready, we will teleport in 10 seconds!" She said cheerfully, her horn started to shine and spike climbed on her back and whit all the saddlebags. Then her horn glowed brightly and the vanished in a flash, and at the same time a flash signaled the arriving of a unicorn mare and a baby drake to the castle of the Pony Sisters, they entered the place and Twilight used a spell to search for the magical signature of Starswirl's spell. It was easy to find, she and Spike walked to the room, a medium sized room whit a big circular mirror, oddly good conserved, at least for something that was in a forest for a millenia.
"Twilight why this mirror looks so clean? It's like it had been cleaned today."
"Oh, Starswirl was a really amazing Mage! He created the gateway using a magical mirror, making it stable, and he even performed a total preservation spell to make it last thousands of years, if my calculations are right, this spell could last 4 thousand years, it's a low power spell if used in a short time, like 200 or 300 years, but he made it this long, maybe Princess Celestia provided the mana for this, or Princess Luna, or both! This is the most am-"
"Twilight! I understand, you don't need to keep going, just lets do this already if you want..." He smiled "I know you can do it Twilight! You are the most powerful unicorn in recorded history!" Twilight blushed furiously at that.
"That's not true! I'm not that strong, well it doesn't matter, you are right, lets get started..." She started charging her magic in her horn and preparing the spell matrix in her head, her horn started to shine brighter and brighter.
Meanwhile in Mt. Coronet, a Garchomp was drinking water from a river, the water was really cold, he shivered, but it was good, he flyed to the top of the mountain and he started to hear a noise, and the air felt like it was warmer, he turned around and saw a floating light behind him.
"What the heck is that?!" He didn't believe his own eyes, the light was taking shape, he god closer to get a better look at that, and it started to make bigger, and thinner, it was a giant circle, he started to feel the air around him being pulled towards the now fully solidified floating mirror, he realized he was being pulled, but then, whit a sudden and powerful force, the mirror pulled him into it, his mind wasn't able to process what just happened, he fell backwards and heard a feminine and a kid's startled scream, he wasn't here he remembered anymore, and there was 2 strange creatures behind him, he was scared, but quickly calmed himself, this was some kind of illusion, maybe a Zoroark?
"Where I am? What in Arceus name did you do?!" He turned around to see 2 terrified looking creatures. One was a purple miniature Rapidash whit wings,
"Wait, what?!?! Seriously? This is the best illusion you got? Come on, I know you're a Zoroark and you like to play whit your powers but I'm not in the mood for this!" He forced to calm himself, maybe this wasn't a Zoroark, maybe it was for real, a purple flying type Rapidash? That was cheating!
"W-what is that m-monster Twilight?" Spike was shaking in fear, the poor dragon was easily scared and he had never seen a creature like this.
"It talks! It's talking! Can you hear him? I could use a translation spell on him and we will understand him!" Twilight after 10 seconds of panic realized that the creature was looking confused and a little angry, but was talking, she could heard the disctintive words, she silently started to cast the spell, the giant monster was looking around in confusion, she finished the spell and then she waved a hoof to it.
"Hello! right here" the creature stopped in its tracks, and the. Slowly rotated his head towards her, Twilight's heart started to race, she realized 2 things when it looked at her, first, the monster was a predator, and the more she looked at him, the more she started to regret the fact she was called its attention.
"Hello, can you talk? I heard you talk, where I am? And why are you a purple, fireless, winged Rapidash? Also who's your scaled friend? I didn't see anything like him before." Seatlh tilted his head curiously, this was a strange situation, where this undiscovered species of Pokemon? Well, he could ask them, so he waited, and also noticed the looks they were given him, first it has being curiosity, then the purple one started to look worried, and now she was looking terrified! He decided to calm her, try to calm her so she could speak and stop shaking.
"Hey purple Rapidash, please calm down, I'm not going to hurt you... I'm just really lost, and you are looking at me like I was some kind of m-monster..." He started to feel sad, he didn't like when people made him a monster just because he looked like that. He always tried to be nice to everyone and be polite even when he didn't like someone. "I'm sorry, please don't look at me like that, I will never eat a sentient creature such as yourself."
Twilight couldn't believe this, 'this monster, no, not a monster, a creature, he, he sounded really like a he, he was looking sad when he noticed how I looked at him, he already had lived this, wait, I'm an alicorn! Why I'm afraid of him? I should be trying to make first contact whit this interdimensional creature and exchanging knowledge about our worlds!' She grunted to herself and face hoofed 'why are you so silly sometimes Twilight?'
"I'm really really sorry mister..." She looked at him hopefully.
"My name is... Zealth, nice to meet you..." He waited for her to introduce herself and her little friend.
"Twilight Sparkle, I'm glad to meet you too, and this here is Spike, my number one assistant!" She said cheerfully, Spike nodded dumbly and waved a claw at Zealth
"Yeah... Hello, im Spike, and Twilight is an alicorn Princess not what you said!"
"Spike! Don't be rude to him, he is the first one who we meet from another entire dimension, and he was being nice to us since he arrived." She glared to the little dragon, "now let me explain him the situation."
"Well, I would appreciate if you explain, I don't understand anything, where I am and what did you mean whit "Cross dimensions"? What is your little friend If you are an alicorn? I'm sorry but I don't understand what's going on..." He shrugged, and Twilight blinked, he was whitout doubt a sentient creature, but what kind of? How was his species called?
"I'm sorry, my friend here is a dragon, he's just a baby dragon but he's still a dragon, I'm an alicorn, and I hatched him when I was a little filly, and now he lives whit me. And about the dimensional travel, I casted a spell to open a gateway or portal to another dimension, using that mirror right there..." She looked at the mirror and it was broken, the glass was all over the floor and the outline was missing at some points, that means the spell was totally useless and she couldn't open another gateway anymore!. "Ohmygosh this can't be! The mirror is broken!"
"So... We get 20 years of bad luck? Or... Oh, so im trapped here in this... New dimension? I don't know what to say, this is just too much to take in at once, and what kind of Pokemon you two are? I suppose the little one is a dragon type but I don't know anything about you, purple one, what's your type?" Zealth asked in confusion.
"You are right, I'm sorry but I didn't have in mind thr when we opened that portal there was going to be a living creature just next to it... And I don't know what a 'Pokemon' is, is that what you are called? I mean, you talk about it like everyone was a Pokemon, so in your world there are Pokemon and they have different species? And no, I'm not a Pokemon" she laughed and smiled at him, she was sure now, this was an intelligent Pokemon, she shouldn't be afraid now, and it was a really an unique opportunity to learn. So she hugged Spike who was a little scared, but he relaxed and started to get redder.
"T-twilight not now, he's watching us!" He protested and Twilight and Zealth started to laugh, both really amused the little dragon reaction.
"Well, yes, I'm a Pokemon, that how all are called in our world, all creatures are called Pokemon, except for one, and there are more than 600 different species of us, most of the Pokemon in my world are sentient, and there are 18 different elemental types of Pokemon. I'm of a species called Garchomp, I'm Dragon/Ground type. And what about you? What are you two exactly and how are things in this world? I'm really interested now..." He smiled at the mare, she was looking really excited now, and that was better than making them afraid.
"Woah, you have a lot of sentient species in your world! And you said there are elemental types? Like if you had the magic of the elements at your disposition? That's really unexpected, here the only capable to use elemental magic are powerful unicorns specialized in a single element, like fire or water, or the Ice Golems, magical creatures made if ice that live close to the Crystal Empire zone, I readed about them. Well here there are a few sentient species, you are in a country called Equestria, here most of us are ponies, that is quadrupeds, mammals. We have 3 subspecies, Earth pony, Pegasus and Unicorn, this world it's highly dependent of arcane energy to function, I cannot feel any trace of that Arcane energy in you, just pure elemental magic, and it's incredibly strong... Oh Celestia, your elemental magic shouldn't be so powerful!" She looked at him incredously, how could he have more magical elemental energy than Princess Luna magical aura?! This was impossible, she took a step back, she wouldn't be able to defend herself pretty well if this creature attacked her, should she teleport away and tell the Princesses about this? No, he didn't do anything to you or Spike, what are you tinking Twilight? She sighed and tried to look calm.
"As I was saying, every creature in this world depends on Arcane energy to function, whitout magic..." A chill run down her spine "everything whould be dead in a couple of hours" She sighed, she was worried, a creature who didn't need the Arcane mana to live, he surely needed Elemental magic to live, but she wasn't sure, there was a few creatures in Equestria who lived from the elemental magic. But any of them was sentient.
"Woah you looked scared there by a second, don't need to worry, I already told you, well it's okay, so... This is quite interesting world, so, this region is called Equestria, and ponies are... Like, wait, you did say there wa 3 subspecies of ponies, but you are an alicorn, so there are four species if ponies? How are the different species of pony and what about you?" He raised an eyebrow. "And tell me about yor little friend there, you seem to be close to him."
"Oh sorry I forgot to mention that" Twilight blushed "So, first he is Spike, a baby dragon who is like my little brother" she hugged Spike again making him roll his eyes and turn his face red. She laughed and let him go.
"Well about that, the 3 differents subspecies of ponies, Earth pony is like me, but they don't have wings or a horn, they have magically improved stamina and streght, they can use their magic in their hooves to make crops grow faster and healthier, the Pegasi are winged ponies whitout a horn, they can fly, because their magic makes them have improved lift power, because this wings" she started to hover in the air to make a point "are too little to generate enough power to lift a pony. And Pegasus also are able to move and stand on clouds, their hooves and in their body are covered in a special magical 'skin' that makes them able to interact whit clouds, move them, and induce rain and lightning from them." She landed and looked at him.
"And finally, Unicorns, who have a horn, and no wings or Earth pony magic, Unicorns can manipulate the Arcane field of this world, they can use their horn as a receptor and capacitor, they have the ability to absorv magic from the world's Arcane field and hold that energy in their bodies, who when they need it, its concentrated in their horns, where it intensifies and condenses until it can be given a 'shape' for a purpose, like an illumination spell, or a levitation spell better know as telekinesis, there are hundreds of spells, some requiere more mana and other requiere less, and some spells like the one i used to create the gateway to your dimension, are impossible to cast by a normal unicorn, but thats what i wanted to tell you, there is another type of pony, who is not a Earth pony, a Pegasus or a Unicorn"
He tilted his head to the side in confusion, this was really weird, magic? like the old tales some pokemon used to tell? it was true? he remembered there where some magical pokemons, like Mismagius. Wait... she talked about three different species of ponies, and she had wings and a horn, maybe she was like a unique pony who had three or at least Was an Unicorn and a Pegasi at the same time, she had something special!
"And that 4 type of pony is what you are? an alicorn? so... let me guess, you have the streght of an Earth pony, the flying and wheater ability of a Pegasus and the magic of a Unicorn? Or its more than that?" He sighed, she was hiding something or she didnt want to talk about it, but it wasn't his problem, he started to feel hungry.
"Yes, thats exacly what i was about to tell you, Im an alicorn so im strong as an Earth pony, able to fly and i can use magic"
Spike interrupted her
"She is the most magical Unicorn ever! she is also one of the 4 Princess of Equestria!" Twilight glared at him and face hoofed.
"Spike! now i have to explain him everything, its not that i dont want it, but we have to get back to the castle, i mean, me and Spike..."
He shook his head "No Twilight Sparkle, its okay, i dont need you to explain, i can figure it out myself, i need to ask you something, this forest... there is some sentient creature living here? because you dont live here right? You dont look like someone who live in a wild place like this... No offense" He smiled at her, he knew he needed to eat soon or he would start to feel a little annoyed...
"None taken, well, there is a friend of mine in this forest, this is called the Everfree by the way, my friend is a Zebra, that is a pony whit stripes instead of a single color coat, and she wears golden rings in her neck, its easy to recognise. She live in a hut close to Ponyville, thats where i live, its a little town close to the forest, i dont know, you shouldn't go there alone, ponies tend to be really easy to scare, and... you dont look exactly like one of us, no offense... and, why you want to know if there is another sentient creature in the Everfree?" She asked, he looked to the floor, he was really shy about this, he knew she was going to get scared or scream, or run, or attack him, he never liked this kind of situation.
"I... you know... i need... i need to find something to eat." he said hesitantly, looking to the floor chestfallen, she looked at him whit fear, but she knew this already, he was a carnivore, she knew griffons where omnivore, but there was any total carnivore sentient creature in that world, everyone was omnivore or herbivore, and griffons in Equestria eated just vegetables and fruit to respet show respect to their fellows herbivore ponies, she realized she was being really mean to him, she was making him feel bad, just because he was a carnivore, what he could do? he was born that way, he didnt choose to become one, she wasn't going to do this to him.
"Zealth, im sorry, but just be careful, there are some creatures in this forest that are really dangerous, the manticore, it's poison can kill a pony in an hour, there is the hydra, a giant 3 headed creature, the cockatrice who can turn to stone anypony who's scared of it, if they look it in the eyes, and there is a blue flower called poison joke, dont run into it or it will give you a nasty poison magical in nature, you dont want to know about it... just evade that things and you should be fine, now Spike, lets go home."
Spike walked to her and climbed on her back "Zealth, if you need anything you should visit Zecora, she is my zebra friend i told you, you tell her your problem and she can help you, im gonna told her about you now and then go home, she have the antidote to manticore poison, and tell her if you need to talk to me and she will tell me so we can met, now you can sleep in the Pony Sister's castle, this place where we are, its safer than most of the forest and the animals tend to stay away from it, because an ancient spell that Princess Luna made to make it secure, well, see you later, take care! bye!" She waved a hoof and spike waved a claw and said good bye, and then they banished in a flash.
"Oh well... time to hunt." He said to himself, his belly grumbled in agreement, he needed a lot of food to keep him healthy, he needed 50 kg everyday, and today he hasn't hunted yet, so he started sniffing the air, he didn't recognize anything, just Twilight and Spike smell because he already met them, he sighed, and started following a random smell of the ones he was feeling.
The castle was in good condition, maybe it was magic, but it looked like was left less than 1 hundred years ago. He keep smelling the dirt for a trace, and he started to run towards the smell, 3 minutes later he found a little cave, the smell was coming from there. He entered that cave and found a Ursaring, he then realized it wasn't a Pokemon and it wasn't sentient, the creature was smaller than him, and didn't look really dangerous, but it had paws and 4 claws in each one, like an Ursaring, for him, an Ursaring wasn't dangerous, any Pokemon was foolish enought to get in the bad side of a Garchomp, even Fairy types knew too well that Poison Fang wasn't really of their liking. He knew Iron head too and just know remembered that... Really useful, but not now, now it was time to eat.
He wasn't going to kill the creature while it was sleeping, he wanted it to know who killed him, it was a matter of honor, he knew this thing was a predator too, so he let out a angry roar, startling the poor bear, who looked around until he saw Zealth in the entrance of the cave, he roared back, but then the Garchomp let out a beam of blue fire and started to walk towards his prey, who realized too late it was his last day, then the bear charged at him desperate, using his claws to attack, and the dragon dodged and moved behind him using extreme speed, and slashed whit a blue shining claw, tearing the back of the bear open, the creature yelled in agony as it coughed blood, and tried to get away.
He was now searching for a river to wash himself and drink some water, he sniffed for a water source and in 15 minutes of walk, he found a little river whit clean water, he drinked happily and then washed the red stains. Once satisfied whit his reflection of a clean Garchomp. He headed to explore the place, it was a huge forest, and it was full of strange creatures, maybe he could fight some of them and get stronger! He smiled, this place, Equestria, was really awesome, and had really good food, Magikarp didn't taste really good and he couldn't kill Taurus or miltank because humans had claimed them to farms and only them could eat, and most non sentient Pokemon where really small, he had a forest full of tasty meat and no one to told him not to eat it, plus, here there wasn't humans to catch him, he only missed his friends and family, but mom and dad where fine where they were, he visited a couple of months ago.
Twilight was back in her castle whit Spike, 3 hours had passed since the meet whit the Pokemon, the Garchomp called Zealth, she had tamed a bubble bath whit Spike and they where now eating together, Spike had make a omelette whit corn, peas, tomato and cheese, and it was really good, everything was turn out alright, we'll, almost everything, she wasn't going to be able to recreate the spell, she realized that the mirror that she used to create the portal to Zealth's Dimension, was the source of the spell matrix to induce the Arcane veil thinner, and once broken, the two dimensions where again separate and closed one to the other, and the mirror had broken because a being whit a huge magical energy has crossed to the Equestrian side, the mirror simply could handle that much magic that wasn't Arcane in origin, it was the Elemental magic of the Pokemon, and there was no way to repair a magical mirror. So she didn't need to worry about that anymore, she decided to rest and take her time and then tell Princess Celestia about the research and the results, it had proven useful and she discovered a long ago lost spell book, the Archmage was going to be really proud, who was her mother, Arcane Star.
"Spike, we should visit family next week, what do you think? I miss everyone... We could also visit the Princesses, it's going to be fun!" She smiled, it was time to sleep, she hasn't slept well the last week, researching Starswirl's books wasn't easy, she told Spike to watch the library for her and headed upstairs to sleep. Spike as always, was happy to help, he have the house for himself too so it was a plus.
"Hello? Twilight?" Someone knocked at the door softly, and the mare's voice who Spike instantly recognized as Fluttershy.
Spike opened the door and smiled at her and greeted
"Spike, you don't have to, I just needed to talk about something... I'm worried about one of my animals friends, I know it's not important to most ponies, but I really care about the animals on the forest, a-and today some of my animals had come to me crying and scared about something in the everfree, they said they..." She hesitated and hugged Spike "They tell me their heard agonizing screams of pain coming f-from a cave where a bear lives, and they also said they heard a really loud roar of a creature that isn't part of the forest... They are scared about it, some where crying..." She looked worried and let Spike go from her hooves, and then looked at him right in the eyes.
"You or Twilight know anything about that, what that creature could be? I know every species of animals living there, and there isn't anything like the things the little animals told me, So, if you know something please tell me." A softened but equally effective version of The Stare was being used in poor Spike, who didn't have any other option than tell her what happened in that short trip to the Everfree castle, Fluttershy listen to him whiout interruption, her face growing worriedly and somber. Her animals where in danger, she wasn't sure if it was safe but she would have a few words whit the Garchomp, as she was told his species where named, his name was Zealth, and he was if Spike was right, a really powerful creature, and scary, and huge! She shook her head, didn't let the fear get a hold of her, because she needed to protect the animals in the forest, it was what she do, her special talent was to be able to communicate and understand with the creatures of nature. She thanked Spike and hugged him, then she left and headed to her hut in the outside if the forest.
Zealth was really curious. He always liked to explore and see new things, test new foods was a welcomed thing too. He decided it was a good idea to take a nap under a tree, and enjoy the rest of the day like that, he searched for a nice place whit more sunlight and he watched around first he realized there was a house like 200 meters away from where he was, and the little river he saw earlier crossed next to it, he sighed relaxing himself, it didn't matter, town was more than 500 mts away and he was still into the forest. He closed his eyes and drifted of to the dreamland.
"Hello, my name is Zealth, Is nice to meet you, you are a Princess right?"
"You are not in a place to ask questions creature, you should answer my questions instead. Im here to see what a creature so dangerous and strange is doing in Equestria, and now answer us at once and we will be lenient" She declared angrily, she was worried about her subjects and she couldn't detect any Arcane energy in this creature, so she couldn't know where he was, but he was in Equestria, because she could access his dream.
"WHAT?! Really now? you come to try to pry on my dreams, i let you in and you start harrasing me whit questions threat me like you mean something to me? DO YOU THINK I CARE ABOUT YOUR STUPID THREATS!?" He roared angrily, and Luna ears inmediatly fell back, she fell in her rump, she had never been yelled at, and she didn't felt so little since the Discord reing of chaos, more than a thousand years ago, she looked at him and realized how foolish she had been.
"We... i may be got a little over my own head..." She said in a soft voice, who was more like a whisper "I have never been yelled at... i am sorry for that" She looked at the floor, ears lowered in shame. "Can... you please forgive me?" She looked at him hopefully whit sad puppy eyes.
Zealth hearth melted, she was really cute like this, he give it a little thought, she was worried for her ponies, if she was one of the Princess, she surely was worried about them and she was seeking answers for the alien in her country.
"Im here not because i choosed to, i was in my world, in a mountain and suddlendly something was behind me, a light, i got closer and it grew bigger, into a mirror, and it sucked me into an old castle, and a pony and a dragon where there, they bring me here, they opened the gateway, one was an alicorn called Twilight Sparkle, and the other one was a baby dragon called Spike. They explained me of this world, the things i know to survive, and they left, im living in the Everfree forest since then, so... im here in the forest, taking a nap under a tree, and i cant get back home, the gateway broke when i entered here..." he shook his head.
"Oh... Twilight Sparkle bring you here then, she should have been more careful, but she is a Princess now too, she can do what she wants whit her research and magic proyects." She looked down, feeling stupid and embarrassed for her behavior whit a creature from another world, was she going to make him think that ponies are hateful and stupid?
"Zealth, I'm sorry for what I said...I'm really sorry" She didn't realize he was getting close, he stranded in front of her, she was looking down, he hugged her around the neck, she gasped and tried to get free, but he nuzzled her whit her head, and she relaxed, when was the last time she had been hugged for other pony who wasn't her sister? Her subjects respected her too much to do it, and she... She didn't have any closer friend who lived in Canterlot, Luna was feeling really strange, she started remembering her past, how she had been corrupted by her own envy, she was jealous of her sister, she wasn't loved, or that's what she thought... And then, what she did to her, she tried to kill her own kind, her sister, who loved her more than anyone else, why? And then... Being trapped in a parallel dimension for a thousand years. But Celestia was kind, she created a temporal distortion around that dimension, so in 1000 years, Luna only stayed 1 day in the "moon". Even when she was Nightmare Moon, her sister loved so much, that she didn't kill him whit the elements, and she didn't turn her to stone, what was the worst fate a living creature could experience.
Luna started to sob softly, she remembered her parents, her mother, the alicorn who created the stars, the pulsars and quasars, Galaxia. And the alicorn who created the back holes, the antimatter and the intergalactic void, Darkness. Both of them, after herself and Celestia where able to take care of themselves, fused togheter to create the Arcane and the Elemental, the two magics who made the universe works, the magic was not just an energy, just she and Celestia knew this, the magic in all the universe, it where her parents, and from the magic, in its wisdom, life took shape. She was just a fully when this works was created, but she could remember her mother, she remembered she used to hug her when she was scared or sad.
"You want to know who I am?" Luna asked softly
"I want to know, if you want to tell me, I'm happy to have someone to talk to" he smiled, at her and she smiled back, feeling better that she had feeling in years, finally someone to talk to, her sister always listened to her but she didn't want to make her feel bad or bring things about the past, because her sister always got worried...
"First of all, I'm Princess Luna, my sister is Princess Celestia and we both rule togheter this country, and sice a couple of months ago, Princess Twilight Sparkle, my royal duty is to rise and lower the moon, which means use my magic to adjust the orbit of it, to make it able to rotate around our planet, if I didn't help, the moon would get out of orbit and lost in outer space. And I must protect the dreams of my subjects too, that means enter their dreamscape and neutralize any nightmare they could have. And night court, that means liste to ponies who want money from the crown, if their reason is whit good intentions, we accept to lend them bits. And other tasks of that kind..." Luna started to explain everything she know about Equestria, even the things only she and Celestia knew, she always wanted to tell the truth to her friends, so he did it, he was tired of hiding the truth.
After 3 hours of storytell and another 2 hours of Zealth talking about his world, and telling her everything, even his dislike of the human's way to use Pokemon, they were sitting under a tree in a forest in Zealth's dreamscape, Luna asked.
"And your dream... What is it about? If you don't mind telling me."
"It's about home, about my friends and family, I know they are fine, but I miss them sometimes" He looked at her and smiled. "I think it's time to wake up, if you like, I can visit, you live in Canterlot right? Where is that if you don't mind telling me? I can fly there in minutes" she looked at him and felt a little confused, he could fly? It doesn't matter, I must show to my sister the new friend I made!
"Sure you can go whenever you feel like to visit, but please don't try to pass the guards, tell them you come to see me and wait until they let you in."
"Thanks, that I will do" he grinned. "Princ-"
"I'm just Luna, friends don't need to stick to formalities" They laughed and the she spoke "Fare you well Zealth, I will be pleased to have you visiting Canterlot castle anytime!" She said happily
"Will do, in a couple of days, take care Luna" he waved her as she disappeared turning into blue mist.
"Finally a worthy opponent!" He yelled, and started to walk to the Hydra, a giant 3 head creature it looked like a dragon type, but it was just an animal, he charged and his claws lit up, he jumped to one if the creature's head and hit whit his Dragon claw in the face if the Hydra, he pushed whit all his might, and his inner Dragon type strength making the hit stronger, and hit claw cut cleanly the skull of the Hydra in two, the head mostly obliterated and lifeless, started to hang loosely from the nech, he jumped back and the Hydra started to roar an angry and pained cry, wich make the animals who were close to run away in fear, after a few seconds, the hydra started to move forward, and another head heading fast towards Zealth to try to bite him, he jumped over and started running over the neck of the creature, until he reached the back, and he clawed its back to hold himself while he bited one of the legs, using Thunder Fang, and creating a really powerful electric charge run its way into the huge hydra, he keep the pressure on until the giant monster stopped struggling, and then he stopped and left the back of the animal, he jumped down and take is distance while the beast fell to the floor unconscious. The huge thing wasn't easy to kill, he take a bit of its meat and it didn't taste really good, it was too bland, flavorless, so he sighed, he felt his powers grow, every time a Pokemon fight, it becomes stronger, no matter if what was actually fighting. He realized that this creatures in the forest wouldn't be able to present a challenge to him, even a hydra was close enough to at least be able to scratch him.
'I should go wash myself again, this claws are a bloody mess, and my jaws too, and maybe I should find a place to sleep... Maybe the cave were that furry little creature used to live? Yes, that would do' he nodded to himself, heading to the river, once he arrived he drinker for a couple of minutes, and washed. Once he arrived the cave, he laid down to sleep, and closed his eyes.
