//-------------------------------------------------------// Rush Rush -by RoseBlush- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Lost And Found //-------------------------------------------------------// Lost And Found "Thanks again for helping me Pinkie Pie." says Fluttershy flying just barely off ground holding a basket in her forelimbs. "No problem, Fluttershy. I didn't really have anything else to do today." Pinkie says happily bouncing around picking flowers. "I would normally ask Rainbow Dash to help me, but I haven't seen her all day." Fluttershy says taking the flowers from the pink party pony and depositing them into the basket. "She disappeared during the party last night and nopony's seen her since." Pinkie says picking more pink and purple flowers from the field. "It's not like her to leave town without telling anypony. I hope she's alright." Fluttershy picks fresh flowers off of the forest floor field. "Hey what's that?" Pinkie asks whilst pointing at a trail of blood which leads the base of a tree. Fluttershy walks over to where Pinkie Pie is standing and sees a part of what looks like a indigo wing. "I wonder if it's okay?" Fluttershy steps a little closer to get a better look. The wing shifts and some feathers fall onto the ground. Some black lines are visible on the part of the wing they see. Fluttershy steps back and gasps when she sees this. Pinkie Pie walks over to the tree and pulls at whatever it is from out of the hollow tree. The indigo tips fades through  clear sky blue wings into the pure white of the body of the alicorn foal they were looking at. The same faded palette was also on the foal's horn and legs. Her mane was a beautiful pastel rainbow which faded to white ends giving the appearance of that it was on a cloud, as was her tail, with frost and snow just falling from the ends. Her mane, tail, horn and wings were as long as an adult mare's and her fragile frame was visible through her skin. The foal's eye-catching display of colour is not what had captured the attention of the two ponies present, this was taken by the black scars which covered the foal's body to no end. This was not helped by the fact that the foal also happened to be smaller than even any new born either of them had ever seen. "Are you okay?" Fluttershy  asks quietly as she gently nudges the petite foal with her muzzle. She shudders as all she feels is bones under the foal's coat , but her skin tingled at the silky soft texture of the coat covering the small frame. The foal opens her eyes slowly and looks up at the two with sleepy, rose-coloured eyes. They breathe a sigh of relief as the foal yawns and curls up into a ball. "I'll carry her to my cottage. Do you think you could tell the girls to meet me there?" Fluttershy asks, but before she had finished Pinkie Pie had already left. Fluttershy picked the filly up off the ground with her forelimbs. She could feel the foal's trembling breath on her arms and the soft pounding of her shuddering heartbeat which came at irregular intervals on her chest. Without thinking she cuddles the foal getting a coo in response. "Aww!!!" Fluttershy  coos at the adorable foal in her arms. She shakes her head remembering she had to bring her to the cottage and quickly flies to her cottage. //-------------------------------------------------------// Prelude //-------------------------------------------------------// Prelude She breathed a sigh of relief, (she hadn't been followed). She looks around at the forest and then up to the silver moon shining overhead. The moon was full and its light bathed the forest in a dreamlike glow sending a calm over the face of wary mare. She sighs sadly and an amulet shimmers and glows into existence around her neck. She leans against the trunk of a tree as she opens the locket and  music begins to play. You're a whisper of a summer breeze You're the kiss that puts my soul as ease A wisp of magic comes out and surrounds her like a blanket of silken air. The sparkling pink cloud covers her for a few seconds and then disappears leaving behind a small white alicorn foal with pastel hair barely as big as a newborn. She raises her over-sized wings and lifts herself just  two feet into the air, with a gasp she tumbles unto the cold forest floor. Feathers mix with blood as she examines her injured wings. She shakes out her curly mane and pulls a wand out of thin air, opening a gauge. She touches the wand to her horn and reads the gauge, which is just border-lining empty. She sighs and the wand disappears. "Not yet." she whispers her soft voice frail and breaking. She stumbles in her attempt to stand, but only falls. With a defeated sigh she curls up into the hollow of a nearby tree and  falls asleep listening to the sound of the wind and the voices of the owls hooting through the night.
