The defeat of the Dark King
Shining Armor paced back and forth, then plopped on the couch sobbing, for he had lost his sister to the dark side. He pulled out a picture of him and Twilight when they were younger, he missed those days. "Twily, I promise I'll get you back." He promised himself.
"Sombra will not get away with this, not by a long shot." Shining Armor vowed. Flash knocked on the door.
"Captain? You in there, sir? We just got word that Sombra rebuilt his old castle and is training Twilight there." Flash said through the door.
"The castle is located somewhere... not that pleasant." He continued.
"Where?" Shining Armor asked.
"Northern Equestria, location: The Skull Empire." Flash said. Shining Armor's eyes narrowed.
"Get every guard outside and in a line, now. Tell them I'll be out in 2 minutes." He ordered.
"Yes sir!" Flash did just that. 2 minutes later Shining Armor was prepping the royal guard.
"ALRIGHT MEN! LISTEN UP! WE HAVE GOTTEN WORD THAT SOMBRA HAS SET UP HIS CASTLE IN THE SKULL EMPIRE! OUR MISSION, LOCATE THAT CASTLE, RESCUE MY SISTER, AND BANISH THE KING! Anyone one of you want to back out?" He asked.
"NO SIR!" The guards said.
"Alright men, MOVE OUT!" The guards began to march, Flash right next to Shining Armor.
"Sir, what if we can't convert her back?" Flash asked.
"We will, we'll get my sister back." Shining Armor said.
"Sir, with all due respect, if we do convert her back, what do we do with Sombra?" Flash asked.
"Banish him into the deepest, darkest part of Tartarus." Shining Armor sounded serious. Very serious. Flash nodded.
At the castle, Sombra was training Twilight. "Again, practice will make it more effective." Sombra said.
"Yes, master." Twilight smiled.
Then, Sombra saw the guards marching to the castle. "Shadow guards! Eliminate them!" Sombra yelled.
200 hundred or more shadow guards charged to meet with the royal guards. "Here comes the enemy, boys!" Flash yelled.
"CHARGE!!!" Flash ordered.
"ATTACK!" The shadow guard captain yelled. 200 hundred royal guard vs 200 hundred shadow guards. The guards clashed head to head.
"Flash! Get to Twilight and stop Sombra! We can handle them!" Shining Armor ordered.
"Yes sir!" Flash flew onward to Sombra's castle. He burst through the gates, causing the remaining shadow guards to scatter. Flash approached the throne room, and sitting in a regal chair was King Sombra himself.
"Let Twilight go, you creep." Flash ordered.
"Ha! I'd love to see you try to stop me." Sombra laughed. Flash growled.
"Twilight, I'll handle him, watch your master at work." Sombra said. Twilight nodded, her evil eyes glowing. OK, to get Twilight back, I need to defeat the one who originally corrupted her, Sombra. Flash thought.
Outside, the guards kept fighting, luckily the other girls were helping them. Rainbow and Futtershy help the sky guard take out the shadow sky guards. Rarity helped the astral guards take on the astral shadow guards, and Applejack and Pinkie Pie help the earth guard take on the shadow earth guard.
"Stupid guards! This is for our friend!" Rainbow yelled. Twilight felt it.
"Oh no, the corruption wasn't completed! She's still vulnerable to friendship!" Sombra yelled.
"Not so tough now, huh?" Flash asked.
"You will pay for your insolence!" Sombra hissed. After about 30 minutes the shadow guards were defeated.
"To the castle!" Shining Armor yelled. The guards burst the castle doors, to find Flash and Sombra fighting.
"Prepare to die, you insolent whelp!" Sombra roared, charging Flash, but missing and ramming his horn into a wall. He struggled to get it out.
"Come on. Come on! Damn it!" He yelled. Flash took this opportunity to get to Twilight.
"Twilight, listen! You're under Sombra's control, you've got to fight it, princess!" Flash told her.
Sombra laughed. "Too late, Flash Sentry. She's long gone!" He cackled. Flash thought for a moment.
"Not for long." Flash said. "Twilight, there's something I've been meaning to tell you. I've liked you, for a long time now. But I didn't know how to tell you, oh what I mean is, I love you, princess." Flash said. Then, he kissed her. Sombra's eyes narrowed.
"No. No, No! NO!" he wailed. The girls arrived just in time to see the darkness fade from Twilight. She groaned and shook her head. Her eyes turned normal.
"Flash?" She asked. Flash nodded. Then, much to his surprise, got a kiss back.
"So, you've had a crush on me, huh?" Twilight smirked, Flash blushed lightly.
"Twily!" Shining Armor hugged Twilight. "Oh man I love you, sis." He smiled. Twilight did as well.
"So what about him?" Flash motioned towards Sombra.
At Canterlot, Sombra was hoof cuffed and growling.
"Don't think you've heard the last of me, Kingsley Sombra will return!" Sombra vowed. After that, he was banished into Tartarus. Twilight hugged the girls.
"Oh man, we love you, Twilight." Rainbow smiled.
"I love you too, girls." Twilight smiled. Flash smiled too, for he had become not only Twilight's personal guard, but also her coltfriend. But they knew Sombra would return, and when he did,they would be ready for him.
"Friendship is Magic!" The mane 6 chanted in unison. But little did the girls know that a certain blue police box was on it's way to Ponyville, carrying a very familiar time traveling pony named Doctor Whooves, who was on his way to check something out in Ponyville, something that was out of place. Wonder what it could be..........
Meanwhile, in Tartarus, Sombra was very, very angry with how he was utterly defeated. "So, you're here as well, Sombra." A voice in the cell next to his said. The figure was none other but Lord Tirek. Sombra look a bit surprised to see him. "Why are you surprised?" Tirek asked. Sombra didn't answer, he just growled quietly to himself. Then, he spoke.
"Those foolish ponies beat me again, but mark my words, Tirek, I will escape Tartarus, and I will make that insufferable little orange pegasus PAY!!!!" Sombra roared. Tirek could see he was very angry. Then, Tirek thought of something and whispered it in Sombra's ear. "You're proposing an alliance? What's to stop me from thinking if you'll steal my magic?" Sombra asked, astonished by the offer.
"I only need Twilight Sparkle's to regain my full strength, not yours, besides, I don't consume dark magic, tastes terrible." Tirek groaned. "But consider, we both want revenge, and what better way than to team up?" Tirek raised an eyebrow, smirking. Sombra pondered for a minute.
"Hmm, very well, but on one condition, Flash Sentry is MINE!!!!!!" Sombra's voice echoed through the hallowed caves of Tartarus.
"Very well, wise choice, Sombra. Once we break free, Equestria will be ours." Tirek laughed. Sombra joined him in mid laugh, finishing it with his own, crazed laugh.
