Matthew's Life

During A Bird in the Hoof

Matthew woke up and started his day like every other day as a slave. As he put on his clothes, that Twilight bought for him when they got to Ponyville, and started to clean up the library or organize Twilight's desk and restock the materials she needs. After that he would wake up Twilight, but he got tackled by her when she ran from her room. Unfortunately, he went face first into her breasts when she collided with him. Matthew started to blush as his face was buried in her chest. Twilight got up and picked Matthew up as well.

“Oh my Celestia, I'm sorry Matthew. I was getting ready for the Princess’ arrival!" Twilight said as she picked him off the floor.

"It's okay, Twilight, I'm used to this," Matthew replied as he prepared breakfast, mainly a bowl of gems for Spike and eggs and pancakes for himself and Twilight. As they ate, Twilight handed Matthew a list that had a few chores to do and had to get some food. After eating, Twilight hugs Matthew before heading towards Sugarcube Corner for the princess to arrive.

As Twilight left, Matthew started cleaning up the table and washed the dishes and put them away. When he was finished with that, he started to sweep up the floor and dust the bookshelves.  He then made his and Twilight's bed. When his chore list was done, he headed to the market to get the food he needs to get for the week. Unfortunately, that meant walking near the school, where Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon were at.

As he passed the school, he started to hear Diamond Tiara’s snarky comments about him being a slave and should have never been Twilight’s slave. He was able to ignore them until he heard one that hit home.

"At least I have somepony that loves me, but you don't!" Diamond Tiara said. This hit Matthew hard and he kept walking away from them, tears threatening to come out of his eyes.

As Matthew wiped the tears out of his eyes, he went to the market area of Ponyville and got eggs, fruits, vegetables and other items needed for the library. After getting all the things that were on the checklist, he headed back towards the library, but stopped at 'Bon-Bon’s Confectionary' to get a caramel apple for himself. As he went in, he saw Lyra and Bonbon were trying to get the store clean and restock the sweets. As Lyra saw Matthew, she tapped Bonbon’s shoulder and pointed at him.

"Hello, Matthew. What can I get for you?" Bonbon asked him.

"Can I get a caramel apple?" Matthew asked as he pulled out ten bits.

"Here you go," Bonbon said as she handed him the caramel covered apple as he handed her the ten bits. As he walked back to the library, he heard his owner and one of her friends, Fluttershy he presumed, chasing a bird that looked like it had all of its wings plucked off and red blotches on the skin. He watched as the two mares tried, and fail, to catch the bird. Every time he looked at Fluttershy’s chest, he would blush. He remembered when he first met her. She hugged him tightly that resulted him being put between her fun bags.

Even though he has a small crush on her, Fluttershy sees him as a younger brother, like Twilight, but acts like a mother at most occasions and he accepted it. After heading back inside the library and putting the supplies he got from the market away into the respective areas. After that, he made himself an early dinner so he could get extra sleep since he didn't get because when Twilight tried to teleport a volatile bottle of chemicals, it caused an explosion.

He was fortunate that no one got hurt, but had to stay up all night cleaning the library. After finishing his dinner, he cleaned up and went into his room, but stopped and returned downstairs and left a note with it saying that he went to bed early. As he fell asleep, he started to have a nightmare about Twilight hitting him and yelling at him for being a useless slave. He started crying in his sleep as the nightmare progressed. He was still crying when Twilight heard him and entered the room.

As Twilight pulled him closer to her, she started to calm him down.

"Hey, shhhhh, it's just a dream, Matthew, it's just a dream," Twilight said as Matthew started to calm down. After he stopped crying, Twilight got up and was about to leave, but decided to sleep with him, just to make sure that he doesn't have any nightmares. While it was uncommon for a master to sleep with the slave, it wasn't frowned upon. Twilight pulled Matthew to her before sleeping, having a smile on her face.
