Forgotten History - Chapter 0 - Prologue
It is the time of the tribes and the world they know is dying. Three years ago now, a new world across the sea was found and since then the ponies of each tribe have made made themselves refugees in it. This land, called Promythia by the native races, has been one of relative peace and slowly building tensions between the tribes.
The natives of Promythia are the Gryphons, warriors of the sky; the Minotaurs, hunters of the ground; and the Airyns, stewards of nature. While the Gryphons and Minotaurs fight each other and equally dislike the ponies moving in, the Airyns welcome the ponies and keep hidden away as they control the weather, seasons, sun, and moon. This controlling of the weather by a non-bias race has been proving beneficial to the Earth ponies, but has caused vexation amongst the Pegasi and Unicorns. With no way to get food, the Pegasi have been raiding the Earth pony villages; meanwhile the Unicorns have gone into halfhearted trade with the Earth ponies for their food.
It has been three years, tensions have grown and are now starting to simmer below the surface. Soon a war will break in great retaliation of the ways of the new land. The war, fueled by hatred, which had long scarred the land of old will be reborn upon the fresh soil. Even now as we speak, the seeds of conflict are sown in a single ship as it slowly crosses the rift of water between the old world and the new.
There will be no more crossings.
