My ocs not called gary stu hes night fire and hes more powerfull than celestia
“Night!”
Somepony shakes my shoulder gently. “Night, wake up”
“Guh… What?...”
As I slowly come to, Fluttershy’s face swims into view.
“I brought you breakfast. It’s waffles, your favourite.”
“T-thanks Fluttershy.” I rise from my sprawled position on the four poster bed, and stare at the plate of waffles. Perfectly symmetrical.
Hey, do ponies even eat waffles? Come to think of it, I never saw it in the show… Wait, what?!
I groan in frustration and rub my eyes. I definitely didn’t get enough sleep. Fluttershy seems not to notice my tiredness, and sits on my bed.
“I’m so excited for the wedding. It’s so soon now!”
What a clichéd thing for her to say! Normal people don’t do this! She’d be talking about the weather, or her hair. I mean mane. I mean… What?
“Um, thanks for the meal Fluttershy.”
She frowns. “You already thanked me. You should hurry up and eat though, we’ve got to be in Canterlot by nine.” She trots out of the room, humming happily to herself.
“H-huh.” I glance at my waffles. “Better hurry up then.” I grab at the waffles clumsily with my hoof. They slip out of my grasp almost instantly. After quite a few fruitless attempts, I realise something I should have known.
“My horn!” What is wrong with me this morning. I concentrate carefully on the waffles, and successfully lift them to my mouth. Slightly uplifted by the taste, (they were damn good waffles) I finally drag myself out of bed and wander over to the mirror.
“Still awesome.” I mumble smugly to myself, levitating a comb to deal with my mane. My morning doubts were almost forgotten. I stand and survey myself happily in the mirror. No wonder Fluttershy wanted me. I was awesome
and hot and perfect in every way. I was-
“Night!”
“Gah!”
Fluttershy gasps in horror as I collapse to the floor.
“Oh my goodness! I’m so sorry Night, I didn’t mean to, I didn’t, I couldn’t-“
The poor girl was in disarray, shaking, near tears, terrified.
“Hey, Flutters, it’s ok. Don’t stress, you just scared me, that’s all.”
Fluttershy inches toward me.
“R-really?” I nod. She bursts unexpectedly into tears and crumples in front of me. I hesitate, before reaching down and embracing the quivering wreck of a pony. I just can’t comprehend why she’s so upset.
“Fluttershy, it’s ok.”
I begin to stroke her mane gently, hushing her. Our breathing and my stroking by becomes rhythmic, to the point where it’s almost hypnotic. I really don’t feel well. The room is spinning, spinning, like a mad carousal, and Fluttershy seems to be getting smaller. Very small. I gasp in horror as she melts in my arms and the room fades to white.
I’m in bed again. It’s different this time, the sheets aren’t soft or warm, they’re starched and cold. The whole room is stiff and white. There seems to be a blinding light blaring from all directions, and shadowy figures bend over me, their voices warped. I shrink back in fear, but start to make sense of their words.
“Danny! Come back to us honey, please!”
“Come on son. You were with us then.”
“Daniel! Can you hear us? Speak to us.”
I hear a mare’s voice weeping.
“Please!”
The room finally comes into focus. Three people bend over me. My first reaction is to scream. What are they? But the answer comes to me easily.
“Mom?” My voice is a croak. The woman’s eyes brighten, and she seizes my hand.
“Yes! It’s me honey, it’s me! Do you remember?”
I shake my head. The man, whom I now know is my father, sighs deeply and takes my arm. That’s when it hits me. My arm? It doesn’t actually shock me that much to discover my actual body. It was like something I’d pushed out my mind, but it came back to me now. But now I was confused. If I was a human, where was Ponyville? Fluttershy? The others Elements of Harmony? I held the element of courage, I couldn’t abandon the others!
“Honey!? Stay with me!” I cough, and realise how thirsty I am.
“Can I have some water?”
“Of course.” The other man gets up, taking an empty glass from my bedside before leaving. Me and my parents are in silence for a moment.
“Why am I here?” I whisper the question so quietly I’m surprised they hear.
“You had an accident honey. You were hit by a bus walking to college and went into a coma.” My mother twists her hands, tears gathering in her eyes at the memory. I have to stay silent a moment to take this in.
“How long have I been in it?”
My parents exchange looks. My mother strokes my head gently, sadness reflected in her dark brown eyes, shining clearly out in the form of tears.
“Six months.” I feel a jolt somewhere in the my middle of my body. A lump swells in my throat and I fight my panic. The world keeps spinning, spinning. I hear my mother’s wail fade into jubilant laughter.
Suddenly, I’m standing. I stumble, confused. Ponies are spinning all around me, laughing and joking, dancing with one another and eating. A banner is strung across the ceiling of what I now recognize as Sugarcube Corner, reading: HAPPY BIRTHDAY NIGHT FIRE! I stare at it. Wasn’t getting married? Wasn’t I in hospital? I still needed that drink. All of a sudden, the music changed and a jubilant Pinkie Pie grabbed me.
“Come on Night! Let’s daaaaance!” Whirled around the shop by the mad party pony, everypony cheering for ME, the other world seemed hundreds of miles away. I was in the centre, the mane six surrounded me, everypony surrounded me, wanting to wish me a happy birthday. This was life. Life couldn’t be better…
“I’m afraid Daniel appears to have slipped back into his coma once again. It seem he was only awake for a very short amount of time.”
“I-isn’t this a good sign though? That he at least woke up for a short time?”
The doctor sighed,
“t could be a good sign, but with a case like this we can't know for sure. There is nothing we can do but wait”
I jerked out of my half dream to discover ponies bending over me, concerned. They were speaking, but I couldn’t hear their voices. Gah! Why did the room have to keep spinning, spinning, like a carousel?
