This Brony's Introduction
Hello! Honestly I don't know what the text size is. I'm not sure if this is accurate enough to become a fimfic. But, most importantly, I don't know how you found this fic. Why did you check this out? We're you bored? Did your finger slip? Ok, I'll stop rambling to nopony and tell this story no matter who reads it.
It all started when I was in 5 th grade. I had gone through a lot in my life, my sister calling DFS and leaving. My dad getting a temporary job and soon after my mom getting cancer with me by her side though it all 'till she got better. With this information you'd probably assume that I lived in a meth house. Neh. It's great here, more civilized that the worst is over.
I am not here to tell my 'life' story, though, I'm here to tell you about how I became a Brony. How did I even find the show? Why did I check it out? The questions are answered here.

We stopped walking to sit down in what is now area 2 to us. I had no idea what they were taking about. *They* meaning my 2 friends or potatoes. You don't have to understand, you just have to read. Like I said, I didn't understand either. Now I'm not one to fight someone with different opinions than me, so I'd just continue with saying that I never watched the show and started talking about something else.
Then summer came. If you read, I said that my dad got a temporary job. Maybe I didn't mention that it was 600 miles away from our home. Aside from visiting him every 3 day weekend, we went there for the summer. In case your wondering, no, my parents aren't divorced. A lot of the summer was spent watching how Phineas and Ferb spent their summer. Then when the 2 weeks came that my dad got to take off of work, we headed for the Grand Canyon. I know this whole thing sounds like it's just about me, well, none of this wouldn't have happened with out these things. None of this wouldn't have happened without my friends.
None of this would have happened if my grandma hadn't died on our way back from the Grand Canyon.

"She likes My Little Pony, can you believe it?"
That's what I said to my cousin when I got to spend the night with her after the funeral.
As sad as it was that my grandma died after a fun vacation, I wouldn't have ever seen my cousin Sam again or Maddie for like the first time since we were toddlers. She was funny. That much was nice enough.
After the trip, we got back to the apartment. Things ran pretty much the same, given that my grandma and those cousins lived some distance too. Maybe I should also state that she's my dad's step mom and not real mom. We know his real mom better because she's closer.
Now that we were back at the apartment I can say that I absolutely loved the movie Frozen. It was a great deal of what us potatoes had in common. It was practically my back story too. One thing we also really like was the YouTube videos. They were so funny. This one particular one showed a random clip of A blue colored pony. This pony, I realized, wasn't the same shape as the clear orange pony toy that I got when I was little. It looked, cool.
The pony it's self had wings, that I know know means it's a Pegasus. It had a rainbow mane and tail. And she was saying,"Dun dun duh!" That seemed ironic for a little girls show to seem so appealing in the cool way.
One day I decided to see why my friends liked it so much. My brother that's 5 1/2 years older than me was there, so I goofed around and said that that was his favorite show while playing the beginning of it. We had a good laugh and he changed it to Futurama.
There's a minor detail, not a major one, just minor, we don't have cable. If it weren't for the temporary job, my dad wouldn't have gotten us Netflix.
1: Because of the cost; he got a lot more money at his temp. job.
2: He would have us to come home to; he appreciated that a lot before all that happened, because before that, let's just say he had a go-tee.
So thanks to Netflix I had the chance to watch the show.
After the joking around with the MLP idea I started looking back on the 10-15 seconds I had seen. It was not the ponies on the the picture or my friend's shirt, that was for sure. And it was getting intense, using a word that my dad would use for MY sister when she "rebelled" away.
That sold me, I was going to watch more when he was gone or asleep, this definitely was no little girl's show.
Later that night I tried it and practically fell asleep within a few minutes do to how late it was, but my test was done. I loved the show!
I didn't think that it was too weird and THAT embarrassing, I mean, my friends liked it, they were around my age. And, I was a kid girl anyway. It wasn't even quite a whole year since then, and I own the the mane six plushies, 1 big Fluttershy, 6 random little pony figurines, a coloring book (don't really care for, but it's ponies so...), a poster, and a Brony hat! Lastly, Spike was my non pony, but character from the show, bus plushie.
As for my friends, all together there are six of us, as the mane people of the group. Get it, mane? Anyway... All of our characteristics fit each of the ponies! We were the mane 6! My friend Meghan that we knew was just like Sunset Shimmer too!
Together, this life couldn't be incomplete. I had the best TV show in the world and had found out the fanfic franchise, by looking up a frozen video actually, and went through alittle to get here. Thank you Lord for all of this!
Well that's my Brony story.
