I look at the poster that has the three main animatronics on it bonnie, freddy and chica. They all look so different from what they look like at the old place, bonnie has changed the most, he used to me purple but now he is blue and to be honest he looks like a girl. I continue to look at the poster but then I hear my name being called
"Lightning Flicker?” Says a male voice
I turn round but don't see anyone
"Yeah?" I say to the voice
"Oh hang on in gimme a second" the voice says then a load bang is followed
its fritz, he was very clumsy most the time. It was fritz, he comes in the room looking behind him with his wing stretched out
"What did you do?" I ask calmly
He turns round and looks scared
"Oh er nothing!" He says and gives a fake smile
I just raise an eye brow
"Hehehe" fritz laughs and looks behind him again
"What is it?!" I ask
"Nothing, really it's nothing it doesn't matter" he says pulling his hoof through this main and closes his wings
I just sigh. Fritz smiles and me
"Oh did you want me for something?" I ask
"Oh yeah!!" He's says a bit too loudly and his wings burst open
"Hehe sorry"
"Oh yeah um I wanted to know if you're the one working the night shift for this week?" Fritz says now looking more worried
"Um yeah, why did you want to know" I say looking confused, everyone says the night shift is bad and you should never do it but what is there that could be bad?
Fritz face turns pale
"What?" He says
"Why would you do that?!" He yells at me
I just look at him, I have no idea why he would be acting like this
"Did they make you take the night shift?" Fritz asks
"Erm nope, I volunteered" I say
Fritz mouth drops wide open
"Why would you do that?!?" He asks really loudly
why is fritz acting so weirdly
"Um because I needed a bit more money" I say trying not to panic, because fritz is freaking out over this
"Well, you don't take the god damn night shift! You're gonna get k-" fritz stops him self mid sentence
"I'm gonna get what?" I ask now frowning at fritz
"Errr, you're gonna get more money!" Fritz says again fake smiling
"Uh huh" i say still frowning at fritz
"Well, uh I gotta go, so bye!" Fritz says as he walks of
Okay that was weird
I sit back down again and just stare at the wall and think. Why was Fritz acting so oddly, well he’s a bit odd most the time but this time it was very odd. Why was he so worried about me taking the night shift? What’s so bad about that? All you do it sit down and watch the animatronics until 6 am. I hear my name being called again, but this time it’s a female voice
“Lightning Flicker are you there?” says the voice
“yep!” I say loudly to the voice and flap my wings and fly over to the door
A mare steps out, its Spectra Dust one of the workers. She had been with the company since the last place, she joined just after we got a new manager. Abi smiles at me
“hey, I just wanted to know if I could get some help?” she says flapping her wings in the door frame of the office
“oh sure with what?” I ask as I stand up and walk over to her
“oh its just that chica’s beak has fallen off…again” she sighs and falls to the floor
“huh we need to fix that don’t we” I ask
Spectra dust nods.
I follow her to the main stage where chica was at. I look at the floor and pick up her beak
“why does it keep falling off” I ask as I screw her beak back into place
“I have no idea” Spectra dust shrugs
I hear a click and then look at chica
“There we go!” I say as I smile at Spectra Dust
“thanks” she smiles back
I look around and see no kids
“huh did the party end early” I ask
“no…it ended three hours ago at the time it was meant to” Spectra dust says looking back at me
“what? What time is it” I ask
Abi look around her pockets for her watch. She pulls out a big silver watch
“it is…..11:15” she says as she look back up at me
My eyes widen
“woah! Really?” I ask
Spectra dust nods and smiles
“well I guess I better get ready for work” I say
“huh? Wait are you working the night shift?” Spectra dust ask
I sigh, here we go
“yep” I say
Spectra dust’s smile drops
“what?!” she yells
I sigh again, why does everyone makes a big deal about the night shift?
“I’ll be fine” I say as I put my hoof on Spectra dust’s shoulder, I’m not sure why I need to say I’m fine but if it will make her fill better then I will do it
“okay, just stay safe” she says looking worried at me
“will do” I say as I fly out
“well I’ll see you tomorrow” I say as I fly out the room
I hear Abi in the distance yell “bye!”
I fly to my office, but half way there I get stopped by fritz
“hey, um er good luck tonight” Fritz says looking at me in the eyes, as I stop flapping and fall to the ground
“oh..kay?” I say sounding confused, why would I need and luck? I mean all I’m doing it watching the animatronics. Fritz smiles at me and I smile back.
I walk into the office and sit down, I could close my eyes for a bit and get some sleep, I don’t have to start until 12;00. So I put my hooves up and closes my eyes
“Lightning, Lightning? LIGHTNIN FLICKER!”
I jump out of my seat and look up, I see fritz standing in front of my desk
“WHAT THE!” I say as I jump up
“oh sorry, didn’t mean to scare yah” he says smiling
I rub my hooves on my face and look over at the clock, it says 11:51
“erm what did you want?” I say as I stretch out my wings
“oh I just wanted to say good luck to night” Fritz says as he smiles at me
“UGH! Why do I need good luck?”I say yelling, I’ve had enough of this
“you’ll see” fritz says giving me a hard look
Oh for fuck sake, what will I see?
“what?” I ask
“just good luck” fritz says as he walks out
I just sit at my desk looking blankly at the wall, lost in my thoughts
What will I see?
I nearly let out a scream as I hear the clock “ding dong ding” as it rolls over to 12:00
“well my shift has started” I say to my self
I open up the cameras and look at the main stage
“so….all I need to do it watch the cameras to make sure no one come in” I say as I click onto another camera.
I go onto the camera titled “parts and service”. I hit a button that says “light” and a flash light come on to lighten up the room. In the room is the old animatronics from the old place, I look at them closely, they were so creepy, we had used them for spare parts for the new ones. They had parts missing from them, bonnie was the worst, he had his whole face missing. I nearly have a heart attack as I drop the camera because the phone rings
“hoyl shit” I say as I pick up the camera, I am about to answer the phone but then it clicks onto message
“Um, hello? Hello, hello? Um welcome to your new summer job at freddy Fazbear pizza!”
“Fritz?” I ask
The phone call continues
“I’m here to talk you through some of things you can expect to see during your first week here and to help you get started down this new and exciting career path”
I look at the phone and frown, why was fritz leaving me a message
“Uh, now I want you to forget anything you may have heard about the old location, you know. Uh, some people still have a somewhat negative impression of the company...uhh, that old restaurant WAS kinda left to rot for quite a while.”
I worked at the old place for one week before we moved, and it was very old and run down
“But uh, I want to reassure you Fazbear Entertainment is committed to family fun, and above all, safety. They spent a small fortune on these new animatronics, uh, facial recognition, advanced mobility, they even let them walk around during the day, ha! Isn't that neat?”
No, no it is not, it’s super creepy watching the animatronic just walk around. One time I was working the day shift and I was in the kitchen and toy chica just walked in…and stared at me…it was really creepy
“But most importantly, they're all tied into some kind of criminal database, so they can detect a predator a mile away. Hey, we should be paying them to guard you! Uh, now that being said, no new system is without its...kinks. Uh, you're only the second guard to work at that location...uh, the first guy finished his week, but complained about...conditions...uh we switched him over to the day shift, so, hey! Lucky you, right?”
I guess I was lucky, I needed some extra money so yeah good thing the position came available
“uh, manly he expressed concern that certain characters seemed to move around at night, and even attempted to get into his office. Now, from what we know, that should be impossible. Uh, that restaurant should be the safest place on earth. So while our engineers don't really have an explanation for this, the working theory is that...the robots were never given a proper 'night mode,' so when it gets quiet, they think they're in the wrong room, so then they go and try to find where the people are, in which case, that's your office.”
What?
“So, our temporary solution is this: there's a music box over by the prize counter, and is rigged to be wound up remotely, so just every once in a while, switch over to the prize counter video feed and wind it up for a few seconds. It doesn't seem to effect all the animatronics, but it does effect...one of them.”
Huh? What animatronic is in the prize counter?
“Uh, and as for the rest of them, we have an even easier solution! You see, there may be a minor...glitch in the system, something about robots seeing you as an endoskeleton without it's costume on, and wanting to stuff you into a suit...so hey, we've given you an empty Freddy Fazbear head! Problem solved! You can put it on anytime, and leave it on as for long as you want. Eventually anything that wandered in will wander back out.”
Oh well okay, I guess I can just keep the freddy head on all the time and I’ll be okay right? I look under my desk, and pick up the head
“Uh, something else worth mentioning, is kind of the quirky modern design of the building. You may have noticed there are no doors for you to close. But hey, you have a light, and even though your flashlight can run out of power, the building cannot, so don't worry about the place going dark. Well, I think that's it...uh, you should be golden! Otherwise, put on the Freddy head, if you need too, uh, keep the music box wound up, piece of cake! Have a good night, and I'll talk to you tomorrow!”
Well, that was odd, why did fritz leave me a message? I put on the freddy head and just sit there
“well I guess I can just stay like this until 6 am….wait” I say to myself
“I’m meant to look at the cameras to make sure no one comes in”
I take off the head and before I pick up the cameras I look at the clock it reads “2:00 am”
“Huh time goes fast when you’re having fun, right?”
I pick up the cameras and go over the prize counter and press a button that winds up the music box. I wonder what’s in there, I’ve never seen anything there before. I flip onto the main stage…and my heart sinks bonnie was missing
“wh-what! Where did bonnie go?”
Quickly I flip through the cameras and find toy bonnie standing in party room 1
“I guess this is what fritz was talking about” I say to my self as I put down the camera
I pick up a flash light and shine it down the hall way
“hmm I wonder why I need that” I say to myself
Then I shine the light onto the vents. I pick up the camera again and go onto party room 1….toy bonnie was missing
“Shit” I say under my breath
I flick through the cameras and see toy bonnie by the vent in party room 4
“don’t go in there” I yell at the camera
I put the camera down and look at the time, it was 4:00 am. I pick up the camera again and go over to the main stage
“oh…Dammit where is Toy Chica!” I yell as I scan through the cameras
“no no no no no no no!” I yell as I go through the cameras but can’t see here
“WHERE ARE YOU!” I yell then put down my camera and pick up the flash light. I flash it down the hall way then drop it and scream
“wh wh what?” I say as I keep my eye on the hall way and move my hands along the floor to find the flash light. I find it and pick it up then shine it again at the hall way…Toy chica was there
“NO, no! no!!! go away…GO!” I yell at here
“err errr err what did fritz say? Oh yeah!” I say as I pick up the freddy head and put it on. I sit there, then my heart sinks
“oh no…” I say as I slowly take of the head
“I forgot the music box…”
I look over at the time, it was 5:00 am now
I pick up the camera then go over to the prize counter and shine the light, I let put a scream when I see whats there
“what the fuck is that?!” I yell as I see this white and black puppet thing come out of the box
I slam my hand on the music box wind up and it winds up
“now just go away please” I say to the puppet thing
I had never seen that…I have only worked here for 3 weeks but still I think they would show my all the animatronics. I shine my light again at the hall away, chica was gone
“okay that’s good and bad, it good that’s shes gone buuuuut WHERE THE HELL DID SHE GO!” I yell as I pick up the camera and go onto the Left Vent… she was in there
“oh…”
I then go onto the Right Vent and toy bonnie was there
“well I’m done!” I say
What even happens when they get into my office? I hear a lound banging like something it moving in the vent. I shine my light onto the left vent, nothing, then the right, Toy bonnie was there just staring at me. I panic and put on the head. I wait abit and I was about to take it off but then the lights flicker and toy bonnie moves across my face. I think my heart actually stopped. I hold my breath as he moves across my face, then the lights come back on. I take off the mask and check the vents, he was gone. I pick up my flash light and shine it at the main hall…Toy Freddy was there
“HOW DID YOU GET THERE!!!” I yell as I put on my mask
I was panicking but then I hear a sound and I sigh so loudly, I hear the “Ding dong ding dong” of the clock rolling onto 6:00 am. I slowly take off the mask and shine the light at the hall way, freddy was gone. I don’t even think twice I just put down the mask and run out.
I get to my home in ponyville and slam the door shut and race off to bed. When I close my eyes, I get haunted with images of the animatronics trying to kill me.
“Stop! No HELP ME!!” I scream as Toy Bonnie walks up to me holding a freddy suite in his hands
“no please no” I say as I try and flap my wings, but I am tied down
Chica Freddy and bonnie all surround me, then that puppet thing jumps at me, I let out a scream, then the puppet disappears. Bonnie walks up to me and smirks at me. I’m in tears yelling
“no please don’t!” I yell as bonnie puts the legs of Freddy on my hoofs, I let out a scream as the wires and cross beams cut through my skin, blood pours out of my legs and onto bonnie but he still continues to pull up the costume. Once he was done putting the legs on he walks over and grabs a head, This time it was an old bonnie head my eyes grow as I see all the wires in there
“please” I whisper
But bonnie was already pushing the old bonnie head onto my head, the pain oh the pain was horrible. I let out one last scream then everything goes black….
I wake up with a jump and a scream, I’m panting hard. I wipe the sweat of my head with my hoof then fall back into my bed
“oh thanks celestia it was a dream” I say under my breath
I move onto my side and look at the clock “11:45 pm”
“dammit!” I yell as I fly out of bed
I’m late for work. I open up my dresser and pull out my uniform, I put on my freddy Fazbear pizza hat then I slid on my pants, then a horrible memory comes to mind of my dream where bonnie was putting the suite on me, but I push it out and continue to get dressed.
When I get to the pizzeria I push open the door, luckly we weren’t having a party here until 1:00 pm. I look around and find fritz and spectra dust looking worried, I over hear their talk
“I can’t find him anywhere” fritz says
“I’m sure he’s fine” Spectra replies
I see Fritz Stretch out a wing, then he puts a hoof through his hear
“I’ve looked everywhere … Everywhere” Fritz says giving spectra a hard look
“huh?” she replies
“yah know, I looked in the costumes…just to make sure he..yah know” Fritz says looking more worried
“oh…” Spectra replies
“wa- was here there?” Spectra asks
“no” Fritz replies
I can hear Spectra sigh from here. I guess I shouldn’t make them worry any more. I slowly walk over to Fritz and spectra dust.
I tap Fritz on the shoulder and I make him jump
“What!” he yells as his wings burst open and he flies up
“Geez fritz it’s just me” I say
Fritz flies back down
“oh thank luna you’re okay” fritz says as he sits on the main stage
“phew, we were worried about you” Spectra dust says
I give fritz a hug, he was all ways a good friend to me. Then I push him against the wall
“HOW COULD YOU NOT TELL ME THE ANIMATRONICS TRIED TO KILL ME!?” I yell at fritz
Fritz flaps his wings franticly
“i-i-I didn’t want to worry you” Fritz says as I let him go
“I’m sorry….but hey…now you know” Fritz says giving me a smile
I roll my eyes at him, then give him another hug
As we walk to the employ office spectra asks me
“Why where you so late?”
I stop, as the memory of the dream comes back. I sigh
“I-I just had a bad dream, that’s all”
Fritz opens the employ office door and walks in
“What was it about?” he asks me as I walk into the room
Some other employs where in there, they all looked shocked as I walked in
“Good job” yellow fire says to me as she walks up to me and pats me on the back
“erm thanks” I say to the yellow unicorn, then walk over to a seat and sit down
“Why did she say good job to me?” I ask Fritz
“Well because every pony knows you’re the one taking the night shift, and they think that is a very brave thing to do”
“Oh” I say as I look at him
“So…” he says to me
I look confused at him
“What was your dream about?” he asks me
I sigh again
I explain my dream to them, and they both looked shocked
“Well…that was…” Fritz says trying to find a word
“Horrible” spectra adds in
Fritz nobs, and wraps him wing around me, spectra does the same. I smile
“I have such good Friends” I say as I give them both a big smile
They both give me a smile back
“Well we better get ready for work” Fritz says as he stand up
I do the same
“yeah” I say as I look over to spectra
“what time is the party today?” she asks
“1 o’clock” Fritz tells her
Spectra nods and stands up
“okay let’s get everything set up” I say to them
They both nod and we all fly out of the door
I grab one corner of a table cloth, then fly over to the other side of the table and lay out the cloth. I look behind me at the animatronics and shudder and quickly fly away. Fritz looks at me
“yah okay?” he asks
“Yeah, I’m fine, it’s just I don’t feel comfortable around the animatronics right now”
“ah” fritz says as he flies up and hangs up some rainbow coloured flags
“ah they we go it all looks good” Fritz says as he flies back down
I nob. I let out a scream as Toy Chica says
“Hey Kids, Let’s eat”
“Geez you really are jumpy” Fritz says to me
I frown at Chica
“Why did she just randomly talk?” I ask Fritz
“I don’t know” he shrugs
“oh hey, um did any of the old Animatronics show up last night?” Fritz Asks, looking worried again
“erm, no, They shouldn’t be able to move right?” I ask him
“oh yeah, yeah, I was err…just wondering” he says smiling
“okay…” I say looking at me
He smiles at me, then looks over at the clock
“oh hey, party it due to start now” he says as he flies off to the main door
Why is he acting so weirdly?
“Stay safe kids!” Toy Bonnie says to a group of fillies
“Have Fun!” Toy Chica says
“Be sure to come back soon kids!” Freddy says as he wave to the fillies
I frown at the animatronics. All the Fillies walk up to their parents and they leave
“Bye, bye my little ponies” Freddy says as the last filly leaves. I look over at the time 7:50 I had a long time before my night shift started. I walk past the animatronics and they all just stare at me. I walk faster to my office, put my feet up and sleep.
