A black bolted trail

Load Full Story"Have I ever told you how I even ended up with all of this?" I asked.
He shook his head.
"Then I might as well tell it now. Still have a long way to go." I looked at the stars above me and felt the wind in my short cut mane.
"It was also night when it started..."
I flew trough Cloudsdale and of course I knew it was stupid, I knew that from the beginning, because, well... It's logic. But I did it anyways. I don't know why. Maybe because I lost the ability to feel, or because I just didn't care anymore about anything, because I lost the meaning of my life in one day and I saw the whole world black? I don't know, but after I got fired I did a lot of stupid things.
A whole lot. Not that I was going to tell him all of that, like he would understand.
Yeah, really, really stupid things.
Like that time with the cider when I ended up in the hospital.
But then I did the stupidest of all. And after that I was even stupider so I had to fly for my life. One of those foals called the police and apparently told them I was dangerous and had some sort of weapon. So, I got chased trough all of Cloudsdale or something when Ava Flight found me hiding behind a little wall.
She said: "That's nicely done. You're pretty fast." Not that I cared, I just tought she was making too much noise.
I remember the whole conversation after that.
"Actually, you're really fast. You hiding from somepony or something?"
I gave her an angry look and hissed she had to be quiet.
Of course I was hiding, why else would I sit curled up behind a little wall in a creepy alley in Cloudsdale at night, looking around for anypony following me?
"Yeah, isn't that obvious?" I found her really annoying.
"If you're going to sream or move or anything I swear I'll hit you in your face so shut up."
Any normal mare would have cried for help, but apparently she knew that kind of ponies and she said, like as in a very bad joke: "Is that a threat or a promise?"
And seriously, I din't expect that answer. I din't even expect her to answer al all.
At that moment the police flew by, but the didn't make any noise, and even tough I tought she was annoying and she just sort of insulted my, I kinda liked her.
"She was the only pony who ever dared to speak up against you." He said, and I didn't knew if that meant he didn't either, or it was just a joke.
But at least he was smart enough not to mind him. After he died everyone felt into complete chaos and none of us came over it by now.
"Well" I said "Thank you for not letting them know I'm here, but I kinda need to go now."
I checked if I still had everything and wanted to fly away when she pulled me back down again.
"Where in the word did you did that for?" I hissed. As answer she pointed at agroup of guards escorting somepony.
"Oh, I get it." I answered.
If I flew up then, I would've been caught.
"Thank me later, now follow me and be quiet." She pulled my tail and sneaked into the back door of some sort of cafe with a lot of cider wine and shouting stallions.
"Where are we going?" I asked angry.
"Somewhere the police can't find you." Ava said.
I stopped following her. "How do I know you're not a spy?"
"You don't. But if I was, I had three chances of getting you caught and I didn't. Plus, this place is full of creepy guys and I wouldn't come in here if I wasn't one of them."
"Did Ava really say that?" he laughed.
"Yeah I know. Ava being with creepy guys. But then I had no idea." I said.
"I guess now comes the funny part. I can hear it from the way you talk." he said and looked at me.
"Uhu." I replied. "And watch where you're flying.
We walked trough the mess of tables, waiters and spilled drinks and cursing.
"Don't look back." Ava said, and of course I did it anyway "Really don't. They might think you like them. Don't shout, keep walking. Eyes on the door."
A guy whispered something in my ear and I wanted to kick him when Ava pulled me away and angrily shouted I shouldn't fight any of the ponies in here because we were mares. And that was when Star Sky and Dark Storm showed up behind Ava and I kinda found it a challenge.
"A challenge to what?"
"That we were mares and shouldn't fight anypony." I grinned.
"Oh dear.." He sighed.
I totally kicked their tail! I seriously had no idea it was because of them that Ava felt safe in there because they were there too and they kinda owned that place. But I knocked them out with one move and was about to fight them even more when Ava shouted and cursed.
They then dragged me with the four of them to the storage of that place.
"You seriously..." He laughed "Unbelievable. Sorry, I just think it's so funny."
"Ava agreed." I said. And it was pretty funny if I think of it now.
"I don't know what you guys think of it, but I found that fricking hilarious." Ava said.
"I on the other hoof can't think of anything funny about it!" Star Sky said while twitching the ear I just slammed against the floor.
"Wait, you guys weren't going to kidnap her?" I asked.
"You kidding?" Ava laughed. "This is Cloud Cracker and this is Twister. I am Ava Flight." She pointed at all of them.
"Our father owns this place and so do we."
"It's still confusing. How everyone has double names. Like, I'm both Prism and Dusk." He said.
I nodded.
Cloud Cracker is Dark Storm and Twister is Star Sky.
And Ava. Ava's just Ava, even tough they called her Nightshade. For me she will stay Ava.
"Oh.." I really had no idea what else to say.
"We shoud really tell him. This is too funny." Ava laughed and went down some staurs hidden behind a door. "Father? Can you come up?"
"Soo... You're family?" I asked. It was still kind of weid imagining those two being brothers of Ava. Twister could be possible, he and Ava looked around my age, but Cloud Cracker could be their dad.
Then Ava came back up with a guy that had to be at leats a hundred years old.
It was weird to talk about him.
"Of course he's not my father, but he cares for all of us." Star Sky said.
"So you were the one that was faster then the police." He said like it wasn't even a question.
I nodded and I knew he wasn;t just a weird old pony, but he could still fly fast and didn't sound old at all.
"And they're now looking for you." Again not a question.
"I guess I can't leave this place anytime soon." I said.
"Then you're lucky. We're leaving tomorrow." The old guy pointed at evryone on the room. "And some others."
"You can come with us." Ava said.
"Leave? Where?" They might have been looking for me, but I didn't felt much for leaving.
"To a place where they'll never find us." The old guy said.
"And then? We wait?" That was like the most stupid plan ever.
"No." The old guy turned around and opened a little window. "We write history. And we destroy the Wonderbolts."
"So that's how I got in." I said. "I packed my stuff and left."
Not that I had much to pack.
That was one of the stupid things I've done.
"And then I left. And I met you. And you know the rest."
"I'm still surprised he got you into leaving that fast. Knowing you you're not that kind of pony." He said.
"I guess it just went that way." I shrugged. "I have no idea why I even agreed."
But I'm happy I did.
"We plan the Event of the Century."
