After the battle on Draetheus V, the crew of the UNSC Lazarus are tasked with finding new worlds, or the covenant. But they find something else. Another Halo installation, one of the original Halo installations from the Greater Ark that managed to survive. They want to take it, learn about the original array and use this installation against any threats, but the locals don't like this, not until the mentioned greater threat arrives.
