Twilight Sparkle was reading a book in her castle library. She was re-reading Daring Doo and the Sapphire Statue. An awesome book. She was on the last chapter when she heard her alarm. Twilight smirked. It was dusk.
It was time.
She "closed down" the library for the rest of the day, and she went outside. Twilight began to fly after she took a few steps. She soared around looking for her friends. Then, Twilight spotted a pink earth pony with a darker pink, and fluffy mane and tail, Pinkie Pie. Twilight stealthily glided down to the mare.
"Hey, Pinkie," Twilight called friendly. "How are you doing?" Pinkie turned around to face Twilight.
"Hey, Twi," Pinkie said as cheerfully as always. "I'm great! And you?"
"Oh, I'm good, I'm good! Say, Pinkie? SugarCube Corner is still open, right?"
"Yupers!"
"How about we have a shake and some cookies, each? On me!"
"Oki-doki-loki! Let's gooo!!" They trotted into SugarCube Corner together. Twilight sat at a table while Pinkie went over to the counter.
"Hey, Mrs. Cake," Pinkie said. "Can Twilight and I have a strawberry shake and-"
"Chocolate," Twilight called.
"-a chocolate shake and some sugar cookies?"
"Sure thing, Pinkie," Mrs. Cake said. Pinkie Pie trotted over to the table Twilight was sitting at.
"Sooo," Pinkie asked, "what's the occasion?" Twilight smirked.
"I'll tell you after our snack, and we go up to your room. Okay?"
"Oki-doki-loki!"
"Here you are, girls," Mrs. Cake said trotting over with their order. "Sixteen bits, please." Twilight levitated over the correct amount of bits to Mrs. Cake. "Thank you!" Pinkie ate in her famous one-bite, and she slurped her one-slurp. Twilight took her time. Once they were finishes, they cleaned up their table and trotted to Pinkie's bedroom.
"Okay," said Pinkie, "what's the occasion, Twi?" Pinkie winked at Twilight.
"Oh," Twilight responded, "just wanted to show you something new I got..."
"Oo, ooo! What is it?!" Pinkie began bouncing in a circle. Twilight smirked.
"Well, first I need you to Pinkie Promise to close your eyes and stand still." Pinkie Pie closed her eyes.
"Cross myheart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye! Oo, I'm so nerv-excited!" Twilight lit up her horn, and she condensed her magic into the shape of a knife.
"Just hold still. Okay, Pinkie?" Pinkie's smile wiggled with nervousness. The Twilight slowly made a cut on Pinkie Pie's front left hoof. She was about to scream, but Twilight used her magic to cover Pinkie's mouth. Twilight moved on to Pinkie's front left hoof. Pinkie's eyes began to water from the pain. Twilight continued her slow, painful cutting. Pinkie continued to stand still and keep her eyes closed 'cause of the Pinkie Promise. Twilight finished the back left hoof, and went towards Pinkie's muzzle.
Then Pinkie felt the knife cut her muzzle. Her eyes snapped open, but she still couldn't scream. Her eyes begged Twilight for mercy. Twilight showed none. Finally Twilight dissipated the knife and watched Pinkie cry in pain. She grinned manically as Pinkie's breaths calmed.
"Wasn't that lovely, Pinkie," Twilight asked coolly. Her corneas turned red. She smirked. Pinkie's mane went straight.
"The name's Pinkamena, Queen," replied Pinkamena darkly. The two insane ponies cackled.

Twilight and Pinkamena trotted up to Carousel Boutique. Twilight shooed Pinkamena to go hide. Pinkamena obeyed. Twilight knocked on the door.
"Welcome to Carousel Boutique, where all is always new and chique," announced Rarity. She opened her eyes. "Where are my manners. Hello, Twilight darling! Come in, come in!" Twilight trotted in with a convincing smile. "So, what brings you here, darling? I doubt it's a new dress!" Rarity brought in some tea for her and Twilight. Twilight thanked her.
"Oh, I just got this new accessory, and I don't really like it, so I thought I might give it to you," Twilight said.
"Oh? What is it?"
"Hold on. Could you please Pinkie Promise to close your eyes and stand still, Rarity?" Rarity blinked confused.
"Um, sure. Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." Rarity closed her eyes. Twilight smiled manically and conjured the knife. She quickly cast that silencing spell. Twilight, once again, cut slowly. Rarity's eyes snapped open. She tried to move her legs, but Twilight had magixed them. She tried to scream. Twilight was on the next hoof. Rarity began sobbing as she watched her friend cut her third hoof, slowly and painfully. There was a wicked gleam in Twilight's eyes. As she moved on go the last hoof, Rarity noticed Twilight's eyes were red. Rarity tried to scream again.
Twilight clucked, "You really shouldn't try to fight it, Rarity." Twilight moved the knife to Rarity's muzzle. Her eyes widen. Rarity began to struggle again. "Sweet Celestia, Rarity! Stop fighting!" Twilight cut Rarity's muzzle. Rarity's eyes widen, and she began to twitch violently. Twilight released all her spells and watched with pleasure as her friend experienced pain. Pinkamena trotted in with popcorn and watched as well. Finally, Rarity atopped twitching. Rarity shakily rose up onto her hooves.
Her eyes opened revealing dragon eyes. Then, Pinkamena's eyes changed too. So did Twilight's.
Rarity took in a deep breath, "Thank you, Queen, for showing me the truth. That was a wonderful experience." Rarity grew scales on her back and flicked out her forked tongue.
Twilight grew scales as well, and her wings molted. Dragon wings sprouted in their place. Twilight Sparkle chuckled darkly.

The three ponies were trotting to Sweet Apple Acres to convert Applejack. Pinkamena hid once more, but this time with Rarity. Twilight cast an illusion spell to look like her regular self. She trotted to Apple family's home. She knocked on the door, and it opened thanks to Applejack.
"Why hey there, sugarcube," Applejack said gleefully. "What are y'all doin' here?" Twilight smiled pleasantly.
"Oh, well, you see, Applejack," Twilight said, "I found this apple tree in the Everfree that I had never seen before, and thought you might be interested."
"Why sure! It may be a new species! Where is it?"
"Oh, I don't remember the path, but I have some seeds. I ate one of the apples, and it was delicious!" Twilight pretended to sift through her illusion saddle-bags, but actually cast a freeze spell and a silencing spell. She smiled wickedly at Applejack and conjured her knife. Applejack's eyes widened. She struggled, but then felt Twilight cut her hoof. And her other hoof. And her other hoof. And her last hoof. Applejack's eyes teared up as she watched Twilight bring the knife up to her muzzle. Twilight cut.
Applejack froze up and fell limp to the floor once Twilight released her spells. Slowly, Applejack's hooves turned to stone, and long, sharp, jagged rocks sprouted from her back. Applejack opened her eyes revealing green dragon eyes. She rose to her hooves.
"Queen, thank you," Applejack said, bowing. Twilight then grew stone hooves and smaller jagged rocks from her back. Twilight growled/chuckled in her throat.

They four insane ponies were trotting towards Fluttershy's cottage. Twilight cast another illusion spell on herself. Converting Fluttershy would be easy. The three others hid as Twilight knocked on the door. Fluttershy peeked out from her window shade and smiled when she saw her friend. She opened the door.
"Hi, Twilight," whispered Fluttershy. "Would you like to come in?"
"Yes, please," Twilight said as she trotted inside. She then cast the freeze spell and the silencing spell. She dropped the illusion and conjured the knife. Fluttershy welled up in tears. She took a deep breath and nodded. Twilight was taken aback. Fluttershy was accepting this. Twilight's eyes softened a little. She would give Fluttershy something less painful. Twilight conjured a red, red apple and released her spells on Fluttershy. She hoofed Fluttershy the apple.
"Eat it," Twilight stated. Fluttershy took a bite and began to change. Fangs grew in her mouth, and her wings molted and were replaced by bat wings. Her ears became more bat-like. Her mane and tail began ragged and filthy. She opened her eyes which were now teal dragon eyes. Fluttershy smiled.
"Thank you, Queen," Fluttershy said darkly. Twilight grew fangs, and her ears became more bat-like. The two mares chuckled.

Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy were flying to Rainbow Dash's house. This convert would be the hardest, so Twilight needed Fluttershy's help. They arrived at the house and broke the door. The sneaked up to Rainbow's room and found Rainbow Dash sleeping. Twilight cast the freeze spell and the silencing spell. She conjured the knife once more.
She slowly cut Rainbow's first hoof. Rainbow Dash woke up. She cut her second hoof. Rainbow looked at her friends scared. She cut her third hoof. Rainbow wanted to scream. Fourth hoof. Rainbow was crying out of pain and her friends' betrayal. Her muzzle was cut. Rainbow's eyes widen.
Her mane and tail burst into rainbow flames. Her coat turned white. She opened her eyes revealing magenta dragon eyes. She smirked.
"Thank you, Queen," Rainbow said. Twilight's mane and tail burst into navy, purple, and pink flames. Queen Twilight Sparkle laughed manically. She did it. She had made she and her friends perfect. For they were born from blood at dusk!
