The Monster Outside

This is an adventure about you.

You had great plans for tonight, getting yourself ready for the ridiculous amount of binge-drinking and careless majiuana abuse that you and your friends usually do, almost every single night.

Stubbing out your partially lit cigarette, you decide to head outside, having nothing else to do.

Getting in your scrap-heap-excuse of a vehicle, everything, (with an exception of the bumpy ride,) seemed to go smoothly.

Half way down the country road, you notice some strange lights in the distance. You know you would've remembered any sort of local rave party or light show, so this anomaly only increased your curiosity.

Slowly stopping your car, parking it next to an old corn field, you decide to check it out; perhaps the party was still ongoing?

Half way there, you notice your limbs begin to slowly weaken, numbing down until you're completely paralysed!

Yelling out for help didn't do anything, nobody was around... You look up into the sky, noticing an odd void in the clouds, and the lights you once saw grew stronger, until it coated the entire landscape.

Moments after a bright light shines directly in your path of vision, you realise that you can move again; however, when you open your eyes, something worries you even more: This is definitely not the abandoned farmland you were once in.

Although you're not alone, the people nearby seem to scared to speak, and rightfully so.

It seems the only way out is through a small slit, around the corner. Yet something is troubling you--Why isn't anyone going outside? The exit is right there, yet no-one seems anxious to leave.

Maybe it's time you changed that; looking towards the bright light, emitting from the tiny hole, you decide to...

[Option A:] ...Go outside, into the unknown.

[Option B:] ...Head back, staying with the others.
