Chapter 1: A bowl of Applejacks, Aand a rush
Home of Greenstepz, Shine Town Stupid name I know -O-
“Castleton, Time to wake up. I'm not gonna let you sleep all day again. ” Mother shouted.
“Gruugh..I'm up, huahh..I'm awake.” Greenstepz, a male pegasus of 14 years, with fur a shade of castelton green, who's not very tall, promptly fell of his bed.
plomp
“Oww dang it, not again. ”
"Wow, a wonderful start to this morning eh, Greenie?" Greenstepz sarcastically thought in his head.
"Castle? What was that? " His mom asked from the kitchen downstairs.
"Fell out of bed again." He replied
"Again? sweet Celestia, we're lucky you haven't gotten any brain damage." His mother teased.
"Oh haha mother" Greenstepz retorted.
"Well anyways there's some Applejacks on the counter for you down here, but only after you take care of your morning stuff".
"OH CELESTIA ALL MIGHTY YES! THANK YOU MA! " Greenstepz shouted, perhaps a bit too enthusiastically.
You see everyone, Greenstepz loves applejacks, simple as that.He belives them to be the creation of a being stronger than the princesses of both Sun and Moon. However, he still wondered why in the heck one of the six saviors of Equestria would decide to make a brand of cereal, and name it after themselves. Well whatever the reason was, he desired that holy bowl of breakfast cereal.
So he began to make his small blue and white small bed. Though he's done it millions of times, he still didn't get the point of it. Why you'd fix something, just to dismantle it later, was beyond him.
About five minutes later, finished with his bed he went to take his bath.A warm bath, as he did every morning. Satisfied that he was clean he began to fix his hair, in to that stand-out do that he usually has.
By then he, CRAVED the Applejacks, so he rushed out the bathroom, vaulted over the stairs, opened his wings and, faceplanted on the first floor.
plomp
“Ouch.” A comedically large bruise sprouted on his pony forehead Good thing he could just shapeshift his face back to normal. So, he did just that. Who knew being part changeling would let him heal non-magical, non-fatal wounds?
Greenstepz then went left of the staircase, the one he fail-vaulted, overand into the kitchen to finally eat the Applejacks. He narrowed his eyes, searching for any threats to his morning meal of godly taste.
"Nope, coast's clear" he said quietly to himself, becaue he saw no threat. Taking a seat on the barstool infront of the marble counter, he took the conveniently placed jug of milk that was right next to his bowl of cereal, and poured milk into it. He then took the also conveniently placed spoon, this time in the bowl, and began to eat the bowl of Applejacks he's been waiting for.
"Ahh, nothing better than a bowl of Applejacks on a wonderful Saturday morning ehh Greenie?" He thought to himself, and then realized that TV would probably make a great morning even better.
So Greenstepz went to the tv that was about 5 ft adjacent from the counter, and flicked it on. Manually of course, Luna knows how a non-horned pony would use a remote.
"Aaaand we're back with the weather report, Hal what's it like ouy there today?" The photogenic perky newsmare inquired of the equally photeginic and perky 'Hal.'
"Welp great timing Greenie, except it's on the news," Greenstepz thought, "might as well check the weather."
"Well Silverliner, We're expecting another beautiful, sunny day, courtesy of the hardworking pegasi at Cloudsdale."
"Thanks Hal, And what else could we expect for weather on this years Day of the ShiningSoul."
Upon hearing what today was, Greenstepz did a double-take. A comedic one at that.
"Oh crap, thats today?!" Greensteps thought in his head, "Why why why why why why!? Did i forget? Least I already did my morning stuff." Then Greenstepz eyed his bowl of Applejacks. He then ate his Applejacks faster than Applejack could eat apples. Fitting isn't
He then went to the front door, grabbed and adorned his dark green cloak. After that he opened the door, looked back inside and shouted "BYE MOM GOIN TO THE FESTIVAL, BE BACK LATER!"
"OK BYE! LOVE YOU CASTLETON!" His mother replied from upstairs.
"LOVE YOU TOO MA!" Greenstepz then bolted out the door. After gaining some running speed, or rather galloping speed, he jumped and unfurled his wings. He began to flap them a bit to gain height, after which he stopped and checked his watch on his front left hoof. It showed8:42AM. "Good, there is still time," He said to himself "but I'm afraid its gonna be close."
He rose, using air currents, to achieve a certain height. He knew he'd be high enough when he could see city center. "There!" He said aloud when he rose high enough, and saw the City Center, it was a very unique area. Obviously located in the center of Lottingdale, Grednstepz home city, it stood out. Imagine a massive, glass domed circular building, with five elongated triangles connected to the Center at each triangels base and all facing different directions. Each of said triangles were different colors, representing something long forgotten.
Greenstepz shook his head, there was no time for sight seeing. He then possitioned himself diagonally perpendicular to the Center, and began a speedy glide down.

Home of Greenstepz
“Huh, some times i worry about that lil' colt.” A soft voiced mare says to no one at all while looking out the window in her room. Greenstepz mother Cynthia really worry about her son in all truth. Call it love, caring, or maternal instinct. For some reason she could never quite stop worrying about him.
So deep was she in worry that she didn't notice a stallion appear into her room. First a blue beam coming from the sky, then four rings of different blue shades. The rings shifted until there was one verticle, one horizontal, and 2 opposite diagonal ones. Then the stallion appeared as the rings imploded all that in less than a second, and no material damage.
“Way too much sometimes if you ask me.” Said the white pony that appeared, his blue hair and mane shaking slightley.
“Whaat? Oh It's you Quartz. Huh, i must be getting slow with old age. Or i was just internally monologing for to long haha.” Cynthia began to laugh softly.
“Well, it's definately the latter, since you still look old.”
The mare laughs again. “Heh looks can be decieving, and who wants to look old? ”
