"What are these things?" She asked herself. Sunbeam looked at her hooves that were now hands and gasped, "And what are these?!" She got up, and this time had fewer problems with maintaining balance. Sunbeam did still stumble a bit while walking, but by time she reached the school doors, she could walk normally. "Hmm. This should be easy." She said. Sunbeam tried to use her magic to open the door, but it wouldn't work. She gasped and felt her head, "Where is my horn?!" Sunbeam looked behind her, and her wings were also gone, "Where did my wings go?!" She exclaimed. Sunbeam looked at her hands and said, "Maybe this is what these are for..." She reached towards the door handle, and the door opened easily when she pulled on it. "Oh." She said. As Sunbeam walked down the hallways of Canterlot High, she was wondering where the heck she was. That was when Principal Celestia found her roaming around, and she spoke, "Young lady, you're supposed to be at the cafeteria, it's your lunch-break!" "Oh...I um, just lost my way?" Sunbeam answered unconsciously. Principal Celestia rolled her eyes, then led her to the cafeteria. Before she left, Sunbeam called out, "Hey! Wait! Do I know you?" "I am your principal. Wouldn't you already know me? Same with Vice Principal Luna." Principal Celestia replied. Sunbeam walked into the cafeteria after Principal Celestia started heading to her office. She grabbed a lunch-tray and grabbed a bowl of salad, water, and an apple, then sat alone at a table. Six other people came and sat down by her. "Hi! I'm Pinkie Pie! What's your name?!" The pink human exclaimed. "My name is Princess...I mean! Sunbeam, just Sunbeam. Totally not a pony princess from another universe!" Sunbeam smiled and chuckled nervously. An athlete at the table replied, "Yeah, well, nice to meet ya. I'm Rainbow Dash, captain of every team here at Canterlot High." Pinkie Pie jumped up and said excitedly, "And this is Rarity, Fluttershy, Sunset Shimmer, and Applejack!" "Why were you s-sitting here all alone?" Fluttershy asked. Sunbeam responded, "Oh, I'm new here...guess I haven't really made any friends." Applejack said, "Welp, we can be your new friends. Always looking for someone to join the group!" That was when the cafeteria doors burst open. It was a girl with attitude, she had grey skin, dark indigo eyes, and hair that was black with purple highlights. She came in like she owned the school, but everyone sure was afraid of her. "That's Raven Lockwood, the biggest, meanest bully at Canterlot High." Pinkie Pie whispered. Raven walked up to their table, and then slammed her hands down and looked at Sunbeam. "Well, well, well. You must be the new student that goes here. I have special plans for you. Just watch your back...because you'll be dead-meat." She walked away. Applejack said, "Wow..." Pinkie Pie exclaimed, "I know right?! She's in a much better mood than yesterday!" "We can't just let her get away with that! Sunbeam should feel welcome here, not scared! Of course, I'm not afraid of anything, but you catch my drift." Rainbow Dash replied. Sunset Shimmer started to notice something about Sunbeam, and then she gasped. "Could I speak with you alone, Sunbeam?" She asked. Sunbeam responded, "Uh, sure." The two girls got up and went out into the hallway. Sunset Shimmer remarked, "So, you're Sunbeam? Princess Celestia and Luna's little sister?" "That's me...why...and how do you know?" Sunbeam replied. Sunset Shimmer said, "I used to be one of Celestia's students, well, I still am...now, anyways. I'm Sunset Shimmer, as you could probably assume from Pinkie's introduction. Anyways, Princess Celestia gave us both an assignment to defeat Raven. I'm not sure what she's planning, but I did hear her say she wanted to take the portal to Equestria and take out revenge or something like that." Sunbeam said, "I'll help you stop her, but first, we should find out what we're up against and what she has in mind." Sunset Shimmer and Sunbeam then started to become close friends, as well as prepare to get ready for a spy mission on Raven. Mission ImpossibleSunset Shimmer and Sunbeam both hid behind shelves at the school's library. Sunbeam moved two books out of the way, and sighed impatiently, "Isn't she supposed to be here by now?" "Shh! She will be, for now, keep it down just in case she comes in." Sunset Shimmer whispered. Raven walked in a couple minutes later, and then looked around, seeing if anyone was watching her. She didn't see Sunset or Sunbeam hiding behind a bookshelf. Raven said, "Okay, come on, girls." The Dazzlings walked in behind her. Sunset Shimmer gasped and then whispered, "What are they doing here?!" "Who's they?" Sunbeam whispered a reply. Sunset responded in a whisper, "Sonata Dusk, Adagio Dazzle, and Aria Blaze. Better known as 'The Dazzlings'. After I attended Canterlot High, those three girls came in and started using their magic of singing to get people to do what they wanted. They feed off of negative energy, and I bet that now they teamed up with Raven...but, why?" Aria complained, "I don't know why we have to research Equestrian Magic. What makes you think they'd have a book on Equestria here, anyways?" Raven growled under her breath, "I was banished here just like you girls, and I plan to take over Equestria and this world both. Celestia, Luna, Cadance, and Shining Armor will all regret sending me here. I'm not even sure there is a book either, Aria, that is why I am looking! Now shut up and start helping me!" Sonata asked, "Why did you get sent here again, anyways?" "I've told you this story a million times, Sonata. Long ago, Princess Luna found me in the EverFree Forest as a filly. She took me in and taught me everything there was to know about magic. That was, until, my magic became too powerful one day, and Celestia feared danger on her subjects. She banished me for no complete reason, and left me stuck here in this pathetic excuse for a world. Well, she and her subjects were frightened by me once, my plan is to give them something to really fear, and you girls are going to help me. Seeing that you all did want revenge for the same reason, as Princess Celestia banished you here, too." Raven stated. Adagio commented, "Whatever, let's just get this over with. I'm tired of living in this rat-hole." Sunset Shimmer reached towards her backpack, and was about to pull out her journal to inform Princess Celestia about what they were planning, when she realized she couldn't find it. Sunbeam and Sunset heard footsteps coming, and ran down the other end of the isle to hide. Sonata gasped, "Hey! This says 'Property of Sunset Shimmer'! We should go and return it to her." Raven stopped her, "Are you insane?! Sunset Shimmer was once one of Princess Celestia's star-students, from what I've heard. We can use this journal to get what Celestia and Sunset have been saying to each other. Who knows, maybe there's even a key in here to getting back to Equestria..." She chuckled evilly. The Dazzlings followed Raven out of the library. Sunset Shimmer growled, "I can't believe they took my journal! There is a way to get back to Equestria from that! From when Twilight was here, I write down that in case of emergency I ever need to return, that the portal is located inside the statue out front! Oh, this is bad..." "Don't worry, we'll get your journal back. They can't get to Equestria!" Sunbeam exclaimed. Sunset sighed and said, "It's going to be near impossible, Raven repaired their necklaces, and now The Dazzlings can sing again, and put everyone under their spells. They have the ability to serenade everyone to turn against us. Like...like zombies or something!" Sunbeam remarked, "That is bad...we have to come up with a plan! First, we should learn exactly what their up to." "Alright...I just hope we can do it, and soon." Sunset Shimmer replied. More To The PlotSunset Shimmer and Sunbeam made their way to Principal Celestia's Office. "Principal Celestia, The Dazzlings have returned, and we fear that they may cause havoc again..." Sunset Shimmer started off. Principal Celestia replied, "Don't be ridiculous, we can trust them now. That's why myself and Principal Luna re-enrolled them into the school." Sunbeam said, "But they teamed up with this girl named Raven." "Oh, she came into my office earlier, too. She's such a delight." Principal Celestia responded. Sunset Shimmer remarked, "Yeah, well, we'll just be off. Sorry to bother you, ma'am." "A wise decision." Principal Celestia finished. Sunbeam sighed, "Well, what do we do now? Also, why didn't she listen to us?" "The Dazzlings must have gotten to the office first, and put their spell on the principals again. Within time, they could turn the whole school against us. We need to get to the others, they can help." Sunset Shimmer stated. Sunbeam said, "They...can't know I'm an Equestrian Princess, though...they probably wouldn't believe me, either." Sunset Shimmer responded, "I don't know, Twilight was here before, and they were totally cool with that. Not to mention Spike was a talking dog." "S-Spike was a dog?" Sunbeam asked, then she burst out laughing. Sunset Shimmer replied, "Yes, Spike was a dog, now let's get to our friends." Sunbeam and Sunset ran by a classroom door, and then saw all the five friends inside, getting lectured in math. "Don't worry, I have a plan. Got a phone?" Sunset Shimmer asked. Sunbeam looked at her, "What's a phone?" Sunset Shimmer sighed and said, "Right...okay, this way." They found a payphone in the hall way, and Sunset Shimmer took out a quarter. She inserted the coin, and called the office. "Hello, CHS, how can I help you?" Princess Celestia picked up the phone and answered. Sunset Shimmer disguised herself using a deeper voice, "Um, yes, this is...Spin-Around Records and we heard your showcase last month with The Rainbooms. We'd love to have them stop over and talk about signing a record label. A bus will be waiting in the courtyard, could you please send them there?" Princess Celestia seemed suspicious, but replied, "Sure, just give me a moment to call them down. They'll meet you there." "Thank you." Sunset Shimmer said in her deep voice. The phone was hung up, and Sunset Shimmer and Sunbeam went down to the courtyard. Princess Celestia's voice blasted over the PA-system into the classroom, "Mr. Burner, I need Pinkimena Diane Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rarity all sent down to the courtyard immediately. They will more than likely not be returning." Mr. Burner dipped his head, signalling the five friends to leave. Applejack asked, "What was that all about? Why are we even getting out?" Rarity replied, "I suppose we'll find out when we get to the courtyard." They all walked down to the courtyard, and they saw Sunbeam and Sunset Shimmer. Fluttershy gasped, "What are you guys doing here?" Sunset Shimmer said, "The Dazzlings are back, and they've teamed up with Raven to take over Equestria. We need your help to stop them, before it's too late." Applejack stopped her, "Wait, wait, wait. Hold up, Equestria? You mean one of y'all is a princess or some-kind-of-royalty?" Sunbeam replied, "Yes...I'm Equestria's newest princess. I was sent by my sisters to help out here, since Twilight was busy planning a celebration." Rarity asked, "Are you related to Twilight?" "Oh, no, my sisters are Princess Celestia and Princess Luna." Sunbeam responded. Fluttershy questioned, "You mean the principals?" "No, in an alternate world, they are princesses, not principals of a high school." Sunset Shimmer explained. Rainbow Dash said, "Could you tell us more of the plan? I think it'd be kinda cool to face-off The Dazzlings again." Sunbeam replied, "You do know that this is not only The Dazzlings, but Raven, too, right?" "I don't care! Nothing scares me." Rainbow Dash boasted. Applejack rolled her eyes, "The plan?" Sunset Shimmer shook her head, "Right, okay, so, first off...does anyone have any good ideas?" Pinkie Pie gasped, "I totally forgot! The school bake-sale is in two days! Maybe we could stop them there! Everyone loves to go there anyways, which will probably make The Dazzlings go there, too, because of all the people they can get to turn against each other! After all, they feed off of negativity, but the cookies are also delicious!" Everyone's eyes widened and jaws dropped. "Did Pinkie just..." Rainbow Dash trailed off. Sunbeam smiled, "Pinkie Pie! You're a genius!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed, "I am?! I never knew! Wait, if I didn't know, would I still be a genius? Because, I would love to be as smart as Twilight, but then again, I can't possibly be that smart..." Rainbow Dash shoved a cupcake in her mouth. "Please...shut up for a while, Pinkie Pie." Rainbow Dash said. Sunset Shimmer said, "Anyways...Pinkie's plan could work. The Dazzlings would be attracted to the most popular place where everyone's hanging out, therefore, having more negative energy to feed off of." Pinkie Pie mumbled with the cupcake in her mouth, still chewing, "Cin wee eah cookets hill?" "What?" Everyone asked. Rainbow Dash sighed, "She asked if we can still eat some cookies." Rarity said, "Uh...sure, Pinkie Pie." Sunset Shimmer remarked, "Okay, let's get to work." A Job To Get DoneThe girls spent the evening at Pinkie Pie's house. Sunset Shimmer asked, "So...what are we going to make for the bake sale?" Applejack replied, "My granny's Apple Spice Muffins are real good, would they do?" Sunset Shimmer responded, "Maybe, anyone else have any ideas?" "How about we go with a classic...cupcakes?!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed. "I think we could spice it up a bit more than that, Pinkie." Sunset Shimmer remarked. Applejack shouted, "I just asked if you wanted to use my granny's Apple Spice Muffins less than ten seconds ago!" Sunset Shimmer growled a bit, "That's not what I meant..." Applejack rolled her eyes, "Whatever, I get it, I understand what's goin' on here." Sunset Shimmer also rolled her eyes, "Anyways, anyone else have any suggestions?" Fluttershy suggested quietly, "How about cookies? Everyone loves cookies." Rarity nodded in agreement, "Seems like a good idea to me." The rest of the friends also nodded, surprisingly, Rainbow Dash didn't protest about it. Sunset Shimmer questioned, "So, we're all good on cookies?" Rainbow Dash said, "Yep." Sunset Shimmer had a clipboard out for all the ideas they had to stop The Dazzlings and Raven. She wrote it down, but she would make the actual plan later when they had all the details worked out. Pinkie Pie gasped, "Wait! What kind of cookies?!" Rainbow Dash asked, "Does it really matter, Pinkie? As long as the plan follows through?" "Well, I want to know, Dashie!" Pinkie Pie said strictly back. "Just shut your mouth already, okay?! We've already got what we're making planned out! Stop getting in the way!" Rainbow Dash shouted. Pinkie Pie exclaimed, "I'm not getting in the way, you are!" Sunbeam interrupted, "You both are! Come on, girls! We're never going to get anywhere if you keep bickering like this! Real friends don't fight..." Rainbow Dash stopped her in the middle of the sentence, "You're right, real friends don't fight. I guess we aren't friends anymore, Pinkie Pie!" Pinkie Pie growled, "Fine!" "Fine!" Rainbow Dash shouted back. The two girls stomped off angrily. Sunbeam remarked, "That...isn't at all what I meant." Rarity asked, "Should I go after them?" Fluttershy said, "I'll come, too, um...if you want." "No, just let them blow off some steam." Sunbeam replied. Rarity added on, "I still can't believe they blew a fuse over a dessert." Fluttershy looked sad. Then Sunset Shimmer asked, "What's wrong, Flutters?" "Oh...I just...feel it's my fault that Rainbow and Pinkie are fighting...I'm the one who suggested the cookie idea..." Fluttershy responded. Sunbeam tried to cheer her up, "It's not your fault that they have a feud going on, Fluttershy. It's called Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie are...well, a bit short-tempered at times." Fluttershy just nodded, and smiled a bit. Sunset Shimmer cleared her throat, "Anyways, we've got chocolate chip cookies down as the dessert we're serving. Now we just need a plan to make The Dazzlings snap and start singing, like a trap to figure out exactly what their powers do. I've seen them work their magic before, but they could have changed since then. Especially since Raven repaired their amulets...or necklaces, whatever you call them." Sunbeam said, "Right, now...how exactly are we going to do that?" "That's what I'm asking you three right now." Sunset Shimmer replied. Rarity thought for a moment, then spoke, "Some sparkling outfits never failed to attract attention! Maybe that would work!" The remaining friends stared at her and Rarity said, "What? I don't hear you coming up with anything." Sunbeam gasped, "I've got it! First, we set up the cookies and blend in with the other students who baked something. Then, we have Rarity and Rainbow Dash cause a distraction to stop The Dazzlings from getting to the bake sale, just in case we need some time. Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie could follow Raven around to see what she plans on doing." Fluttershy interrupted her, "S-Sorry for cutting you off, b-but me?! I don't know if I can handle it, Sunbeam..." Sunset Shimmer smiled, "We know you can, Fluttershy. Plus, I don't know anyone as shy and quiet as you, no one would even notice you, and your footsteps are even near silent." "I...I suppose that's true." Fluttershy said, and then she took a deep breath, then speaking again, "Alright...I'll do it!" The friends cheered, and then Sunbeam continued explaining the plan, "Anyways, once Pinkie and Flutters find out what Raven's up to, we pretend to fight in order to make them sing, and influence the arguing. The students will be affected and we can write down notes on how it changes them. That way, we can know for sure how to save the school. So far, they haven't sung yet. Afterwards, we'll pick up and move onto a second plan after that to actually defeat them." The ThreatIt was a spring day in Canterlot, and Princess Sunbeam was just crowned the newest princess yesterday. Everything was peaceful and quiet, as she was reading a book on magic in her room. That was when she heard a gasp sound from down the hallway. Being her curious self, she walked down to investigate. It was Princess Celestia, looking at a note in her journal. "This isn't good...this isn't good at all..." Princess Celestia muttered. Sunbeam asked, "Tia, what's the matter?" Princess Celestia replied, "It's my old student, Sunset Shimmer. She lives in the Human World, and sends me notes like this now and again. This time, her note says there is a suspicious girl that attends the school Canterlot High now. She also said her name is Raven Lockwood. Everypony could be in grave danger there. Twilight and her friends aren't able to do anything as of the moment...their busy helping out with the Spring Fair..." "I could do it." Sunbeam insisted. Princess Luna was eavesdropping, came in and said, "Are you insane? The Human World is a very dangerous and cruel place." Sunbeam replied, "Maybe, Luna, but if I don't go, who will? Equestria needs somepony to save it, and I honestly have no plans. Plus, I could use a little adventure in my life. You do know I've seen some of the most scariest creatures in the universe going through that jungle, right?" Princess Celestia said, "She does have a good point, Luna." "What if we never see you again, though, Sun? We just got you back two days ago. We don't want to loose you again." Princess Luna pointed out. Sunbeam smiled, "I'll be fine, I may be the youngest, but I'm also strong. I can do it. You have to trust me." Princess Celestia and Luna exchanged looks, then sighed. "You may go, but please, be careful. You must find out what Raven is planning, and stop her before it's too late. The fate of Equestria is in your hooves, Sunbeam." "I won't let you down! Uh...just one last question. How am I supposed to get to this 'Canterlot High'?" Sunbeam asked. Princess Luna replied, "There is a portal to the Human World in The Crystal Empire. Go see Princess Cadance, she knows where it is." Sunbeam nodded, and then flew off. She landed in the throne room, through the balcony. Sunbeam caught her breath, then walked up to Princess Cadance. "Oh, hello, can I help you?" Cadance asked. "Uh...Celestia said that there was some kind of portal I had to travel from to get to the Human World." Sunbeam responded. Princess Cadance remarked, "Follow me." The two ponies started walking down an isle, until they hit a door. Cadance used her magic to open it, as it was a spell-locked door. "Be careful, and good luck." Cadance said. Sunbeam replied, "Thanks..." She looked at the portal's spirals spinning around, then gulped. She jumped through and landed in the Human World, outside of a statue near Canterlot High.
A New WorldPrincess Sunbeam stood up shakily, but fell backwards. "What are these things?" She asked herself. Sunbeam looked at her hooves that were now hands and gasped, "And what are these?!" Fluttershy gasped, "What are you guys doing here?" Sunset Shimmer said, "The Dazzlings are back, and they've teamed up with Raven to take over Equestria. Rainbow Dash sighed, "She asked if we can still eat some cookies." Rarity said, "Uh...sure, Pinkie Pie." Sunset Shimmer remarked, "Okay, let's get to work."
A Job To Get DoneThe girls spent the evening at Pinkie Pie's house. Afterwards, we'll pick up and move onto a second plan after that to actually defeat them."
The ThreatIt was a spring day in Canterlot, and Princess Sunbeam was just crowned the newest princess yesterday.
