_________*Rainbow Dash's cloud home.......Storm's room*_______

Scootaloo ran out of the room as fast as she could from the creature behind her.

She ran down the stairs and out the door then began flying and turned around to see if the creature was there......only to see that it had not left the house.

Scootaloo decided to get a closer look at the creature......it looked reptilian in nature it had orange scales and green eyes.......she did not know what it was but she did not want to get it mad however she knew Rainbow would be home soon so she decided to find it and drop it from the house.....if she could.

"Hmm........got some time so maybe I can go to the library and get more information........better then nothing I suppose." She said to herself then flew off towards the library.

__________*Ponyville....Golden oaks library two minutes later.*__________

Scootaloo walked up to the library doors and pushed the door open........or so she thought as it didn't budge.

"What the?" She said to herself as she examined the door.

As she examined the door she noticed a note on the library door so she read it...........it read. "I'm sorry to say but the library is closed until I return.......I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause....Twilight Sparkle."

Scootaloo groaned in frustration at Twilight for doing this......but smiled as she got an idea then took into the air an flew to one of the window.

As she reached the window Scootaloo pushed a loose part of bark the was bulging out towards the window causing the window to open.....Scootaloo smiled as she flew into the library.

_________*inside the library*_________

Scootaloo walked towards the creature section and began to skim through the pages.

"Hmm lets see, manticore, timber wolf, dragon, Phoenix, giant squid, salamander......wait." She stopped on the salamander page and looked at the image of it, and sure enough it was the same creature from the house, but how did it get up there?....she then read the page starting with Twilight's notes.

It read. "The salamander is a dangerous creature at best and will attack on sight they also seem to have the ability to walk on clouds despite not having wings, in fact the only reason it should be able to walk on clouds is the fact that they have a distant blood relation with dragons, there is also a hidden part of the text which I guess is how you tame them, but only a pegasus can understand it but neither Rainbow Dash or Fluttershy will tell me what it is, perhaps they don't know, no that can't be it, Rainbow Dash told me that it was written in an ancient Pegasi language which is impossible for even Princess Celestia to read, I don't know how but I will figure out a way to understand it." That was the end of Twilight's notes.

Then she read the rest of the page. "The salamander is an ancient creature, possibly older than the pony race itself, this creature has the ability to ignite itself with blazing fires and can withstand more heat and fire than a dragon, while the salamander can ignite itself it is incapable of shooting fireballs and the rain makes it impossible for it to ignite, unless it already ignited itself, furthermore the salamander is a fiercely loyal creature and upon contact with a timber wolf it will be unable to regenerate itself indefinitely, they also seem to be omnivores as they are able to eat all kinds of food, even rock to survive if necessary, it also seems to have all forms of vision and can survive in any conditions, and finally the salamander seems to be supernatural as it is capable of tracking even the dead.......buck." Scootaloo said to herself.

Scootaloo then walked over to the couch and sat down deep in thought.

"So somehow we have a salamander in the house and I have no way of removing it......what if it's Storm's? I mean he did say he had a strange pet, i wonder if this is it?" she thought

Scootaloo flew up to the window and opened it. "Well, might as well do something." She said to herself flying outside.

__________*outside above Ponyville marketplace*_______

As Scootaloo flew above the town she noticed something. "I seem to be talking to myself a lot lately, ugh this ridiculous, ok I know what I'll do, I'll handle the salamander appropriately then get some sleep......if I can."

Scootaloo smiled at this plan then sped up towards the house eager to get this over with, when a drop of water hit her on the head causing her to looked around, and sigh.

The sky was now filled with rain clouds and Scootaloo was right beneath them all, so she flew off towards the cloud home now wanting to get out of the rain.

________*Rainbow Dash's cloud home three minutes later*_______

Scootaloo landed on the porch and then went inside, with no sign of the salamander anywhere she walked into the kitchen.

As she walked Scootaloo searched for any trace of the creature but found none. "you know for a big scary monster that salamander sure can cover its tracks." she thought.

When Scootaloo entered the kitchen she looked around, and saw nothing, when she was certain she was alone Scootaloo walked over to the fridge and opened it.

The contents of the fridge were the same as yesterday....with the exception of a container of some kind of tan colored liquid, Scootaloo shrugged and pulled it out then went over to the cup cabinet and grabbed a small cup. "Well......here goes nothing." She said putting the cup on the table then poured herself a drink.

When the glass was full Scootaloo put the liquid away then grabbed the cup carefully and then said a silent prayer, then downed the drink.

_______*ten seconds later*______

Scootaloo shook her head as she felt a little woozy, expecting to black out any second Scootaloo hastily made her way to the living room couch, then she sat down and began seeing things, like a Minotaur in a tutu dancing, a short conga of Buffaloes, trumpet playing sheep and a salamander. "Wait what?" She said focusing on the reptile only to feel a sharp jab in her neck as she began to feel herself falling asleep

As Scootaloo began to fall into unconsciousness she saw the salamander pick her up and carry her upstairs, then she fell asleep.

________*five hours later*_______

Scootaloo awoke with a sharp pain in her head and she slowly opened her eyes, and saw the brightest light she had ever seen and immediately closed her eyes.

"Good your finally awake, are you alright?" A voice asked.

Scootaloo slowly opened her eyes again and found that the light had diminished and then sat up more, then closed them while she rubbed her head while groaning in pain.

She heard breathing getting closer to her then heard the voice again. "Here drink this, it will help with the pain." It said.

Scootaloo then confirmed something in her mind. "Ok then so the voice is definitely a males voice, so I at least know that much." she thought, then opened her eyes again to find a glass of water was sitting on the table next to her.

Since she did acknowledge that she had a splitting headache, she grabbed the water then drank it and was surprised at how fast it helped with the massive headache.

Once she was certain that she was physically ok she decided to take a quick view of her surroundings, and to her surprise she was in Storm's room in his bed, she then rubbed her head again to try and ease the pain.

"I am glad that you are unharmed, I am also sorry for frightening you like that, it was not my intention, although it was fortunate that you only drank the raw form of that beverage, or it would have been more difficult to help you." The voice said again.

Scootaloo had enough and decided to see who it was. "Where are you?" She asked.

"I am outside the room, I did not want to scare you further, we have met before under diferent circumstances." The voice replied.

Scootaloo gulped but stood up out of the bed. "Show yourself." She said hesitantly.

Sure enough the door knob turned and a large orange salamander walked in slowly.

Scootaloo started to hyperventilate but was able to keep it in control, barely.

The salamander lowered itself to all fours and slowly approached Scootaloo then sat down.

"Perhaps we can conduct proper introductions this time, agreed?" It asked.

Scootaloo's eyes widened as the salamander spoke and unknowingly nodded then sat down on the bed.

The salamander then smiled. "Very well then my name is Venom, nice to meet you miss......?" It asked holding out its claw

"Scootaloo, nice to meet you Venom....I think." Scootaloo replied shaking his claw and then realized she felt diferent, diferent good, but decided to worry about that later as she looked at Venom.

Venom then stood up. "May I approach?" He asked simply waiting. "Well I guess but still I have to figure out what's going on and, whoa that feels good....and it hurts, what happened to me?" Scootaloo wondered.

"Sure just no sudden movements." She replied moving to the middle of the bed and then saw the rest of her body as she exited the covers, then screamed causing Venom to cover his ears.

Scootaloo stared at her legs in shock, instead of them being pony legs they were now that of a tiger. "What.....what did you do to me!" She yelled at Venom.

Venom just stared blankly at her. "I did nothing, that happened without any interference from me at all, I'm sorry." He replied.

Scootaloo scrambled to get off the bed and soon fell of managing to land on only her two back hooves or claws in her case, she expected to be wobbling but found that she was not, curious, she put one leg out in a walking motion and one foot after another found herself walking on two feet and soon found herself laughing for some reason, but she still wanted to know what she was anyway, so she left the room.

As soon as Scootaloo left Storm's room she went right for the bathroom to see if it was just a trick of the mind.

_______*bathroom*______

Scootaloo walked over to the mirror to look at herself, and sure enough there standing on two feet, she was amazed.

She got a better look at herself when she rinsed her eyes, hating it very much for some reason, she could get over that.

She still had her original colors but in a striped pattern, she had orange fur with purple stripes and had orange bed hair with purple highlights and noticed her tail was just like her hair.

Scootaloo also noticed she had short whiskers and large purple eyes, she also had the body of a female tiger, black claws, thinner stature, slightly slit like eyes and some....never mind, but noticed that she had two spots where there was no fur and turned around and gasped in joy.

Scootaloo pinched herself to see if she was dreaming but only ended up slightly scratched, she then turned towards the mirror barely containing her excitement, whe finally had her cutie mark, she looked at it again and saw what it looked like.

It looked like a black outlined tiger female and her cub, she had no idea what it ment but it was cool to her.

Venom simply leaned into the doorframe smiling, then he walked over to her and put his claw on her shoulder.

"Come on, we should talk." He said leaving the bathroom.

Scootaloo looked at her new cutie mark one more time then left the bathroom smiling.

________*downstairs one minute later*_______

Scootaloo and Venom were sitting on the couch talking, apparently the drink that Scootaloo drank was the first stage of a very powerful alcohol that Storm was developing as a hobby, also once drunk the drinker can speak to animals for the rest of their life.

"So Venom, do you know either Storm or Dash?" Scootaloo asked politely.

Venom nodded. "I don't know who this Dash is but I do know Storm, would you like to hear how?" he asked.

Scootaloo nodded. "Sure why not, we have time to kill." she replied.

________*flashback, three years ago, the Sizzling pools west of Equestria, Venom's hut*_______

Venom sat in his long chair and sighed contently, the Sizzling pools had a special property that could not be found anywhere else, the property was basically a relaxing aroma that also had healing powers, but what really separated the Sizzling pools from others was the fact that the weather could not be controlled in any possible way, also the entirety of the pools were covered in a time wall, making it so you can't age inside them but as soon as you leave the pools after say, four hundred years, that age will catch up to you in 4 weeks, the final effect was that time had no meaning here so one hundred years could pass outside but one hour could pass inside, and vice versa.

It was here that Venom chose his vacation spot, and it also happened to be the training place for a certain Pegasus colt named Storm Blitz.

As Venom sat in this chair he heard a loud splash coming from a nearby pool again for the twenty sixth time. "That's does it." Venom grumbled, he stood up then walked out of his hut, he then walked over towards the entrance to one of the larger pools.

________*large east pool*_______

Venom walked towards the pool that was in front of him and saw his dreaded neighbor, a Pegasus colt who annoyed him greatly, he then walked towards Storm who had just fallen in again, twenty seventh.

As Venom walked towards Storm, he tried to control his burning temper, he was finding it hard, but managed to control it.

Venom finally reached a distance where he could talk to Storm but not go into a frenzy, then cleared his throat to get Storm's attention.

Storm turned his head in Venom's direction and chuckled a little bit. "So, what do you want, or are you here just to talk?" he asked.

Venom walked over to a wooden bench that was placed near the pools, so Venom sat down and looked down.

Storm walked over to the bench and then sat down as well. "Well? you going talk or just sit there?" he asked

After hearing that Venom broke out of his trance he faced Storm. "Look I need to talk to you about these antics of yours, you have not stopped ever since you got here, look I know these pools have a time field but still, take a break for once." he started.

Storm stayed quiet the entire time waiting for Venom to finish.

"And another thing, what are you doing anyway, all I hear from over here is you falling into the water." Venom continued.

Storm smiled a little bit. "Well if you must know, im training." he replied.

Venom looked at him and raised an eyebrow at him.

"Let me explain, you see the part of training that I'm on now is this, I take a small pile of pebbles then I make a large splash by dropping a large rock into the water, then, using my red eye I throw the pebbles at the water droplets, I can get all but one every time, I'm getting there though, even if I fall in sometimes." Storm explained.

Venom then looked down at the ground afterwards then got up and started walking back to his hut.

"Sorry about wasting your time, I will leave you to it." he said walking away, hearing a splash not long after.

Venom sighed. "This will be a long day" he said to himself.

________*end of flashback*_______

Scootaloo smiled at this tale. "So Storm does have a soft side after all, it would be nice to see it, that whole insane thing gives me the creeps."

Just then Dash walks through the door and stares at Scootaloo and Venom......then blinks.

"Ok then, you are going to explain everything when I get out of the shower got it?" Dash says in a commanding tone getting a nod from both Scootaloo and Venom, until they all started laughing.

Author's Note

If anyone that read the original chapter re reads this, they'll noticed that I cleaned the chapter up more, it's isn't a huge difference in the plot, but it should be easier to read.

But yea, I couldn't find an image for Scootaloo's cutie mark, so that sucks, anyway, I don't want to say much about the plot so I'm ending the note now....bye!
