________* two days later the living room at Dash's cloud house.*________

Surprise was sitting on the couch reading the third Daring do book.

Scootaloo was looking out of the window.

Dash was sitting on the chair bored out of her mind.

Storm was sitting in the corner sharpening Demise.

The entire house was silent save Storm's dagger Demise grinding.

As the four pegasi sat there in almost complete silence they heard a knock at the door and Dash went to see who it was.

Dash opened the front door to reveal Pinkie standing at the door.

"Pinkie?.....how are you?......" Dash asked.

Pinkie smiled. "Oh I'm good and to answer your question Twilight used the cloud walking spell on me." She replied happily.

Storm and the others walked up to the door and Surprise gasped as did Pinkie.

Scootaloo saw Pinkie and smiled......she always liked Pinkie......she was the only one that Pinkie entrusted her secret too......and vice versa......for instance Pinkie was the only one who knew Scootaloo was an orphan for many years....and Scootaloo knew that the happy Pinkie was a mask.

Surprise and Pinkie stared at each other for a moment while Storm walked over to the stairs and continued sharpening Demise.

"OH MY GOSH YOU MUST BE NEW IN TOWN BECAUSE I DONT KNOW YOU AND I KNOW EVERPONY IN TOWN AND IF I DNT KNOW YOU THAT MEANS I HAVE TO THROW YOU A PARTY !" Pinkie yelled before Dash pulled her inside and into the kitchen leaving Storm.....Surprise and Scootaloo behind.

Surprise was now confused. "Um Scoot......who was that?" She asked.

Scootaloo walked up to Surprise and put her hoof on Surprise's shoulder.

"That Surprise was Pinkie.....believe me.....she is weirder then me you and Storm combined.

Surprise turned to face Storm who nodded in agreement.

"Ok then.......lets go talk to her." Surprise said walking into the kitchen.

Storm sighed and motioned Scootaloo to follow and continued sharpening his dagger.

________*twenty minutes later in the bushes near Rarity's shop*________

Surprise...Scootaloo.....Storm....Pinkie and Dash all sat in the bushes chuckling.

The group had decided to go pull some pranks on some of their friends.......they chose to prank the two unicorns who were very vulnerable to pranks......Rarity and Twilight....and some others.

Storm pulled out a small box and opened it to reveal three small paint balls and two noise makers....he gave Pinkie and Scootaloo the noise makers and gave two of the paint balls to Surprise and Dash.

The group of five quietly entered the shop and set up their trap.

Storm set up a paintball in the middle of some fabric that had the exact same color as the paintball......Surprise and Dash did the same while Scootaloo and Pinkie put the noise makers in a position where it would send Rarity right into a paintball....maybe more.

The group quietly left the building as they knew Rarity would be back soon.

_____*two minutes later*_____

All five of the pranksters returned to the bushes as Rarity entered the shop.

Scootaloo transformed into a tiger and held out three of her claws.

Rarity walked towards her workbench.

Scootaloo lowered her claws in countdown......three......two.....one!

Rarity screamed as a noisemaker went off and she quickly backed up into the fabric landing on a paintball then another noise maker went off and she landed in another paintball.

The group of five burst out laughing as they saw Rarity panic over her now red and green coat mane and tail.....before they heard a loud shout.

"RAINBOW DASH!.......PINKIE PIE!" Rarity screamed.

The group quickly ran off after hearing that.

________* ten minutes later at the Golden Oaks library.*________

Twilight hummed lightly to herself as she read The Elements Of Harmony...a reference guide.

She looked to her right and saw a spot on the wall that was brighter then the rest.

"I still cant believe that Sound and Pinkie fired a cannonball into my library......they didn't even get the right wood." She thought.

Twilight was still worried.....she hadn't heard anything from Shining Armor in weeks and was starting to get worried.

She had come to the conclusion that Storm had done something to him......but two problems stood in her way.

One she had no evidence of this fact so she could not accuse him of anything.......two even if she had evidence she had no idea what sort of arsenal he had and while she could restrain him with magic.....he had Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo on his side.....she would need a way to handle both problems or she could not do anything.

Twilight heard a knock at the door and opened it with her magic....to reveal a white Pegasus filly with a yellow mane that shared an exact resemblance to Pinkie......she began to panic.

"Hi you must be Twilight." The filly said.

Twilight nodded. "Oh no.....no no no no no no no.....what happened to Pinkie!" She panicked inside her mind.

Pinkie walked into view and smiled. "Hey Twilight I wanted to introduce you to Surprise." She said.

Twilight was now sweating and signs of insanity were beginning to show.....she screamed and slammed the door.

"NOOOOOO NOT ANOTHER ONE!" She yelled.

Surprise and Pinkie were laughing and so was Storm....Dash and Scootaloo from the nearby bushes.

At that precise moment Spike walked outside of the library and saw Surprise and Pinkie.

"Hey Pinkie....who's your friend?" He asked politely.

Pinkie paused in her laughter. "Hey Spike.....this is Surprise......did you notice Twilight's outburst?" She asked in between breaths.

Spike held his claw over his mouth in an attempt to contain his laughter.

"That....that was you?" He asked barely holding his laughter.

Surprise nodded and Spike burst out laughing.

"That....that was.....that was a good one......but I think you should go before Twilight tries to experiment on you two." Spike suggested.

Pinkie and Surprise said goodbye to Spike as they left with the rest of their group.

_______*ten minutes later inside Sugarcube corner.*________

Surprise....Dash....Pinkie and Scootaloo sat at a large booth with Sound and Minutte while Storm ordered for the table.

The large group of friends were laughing about the practical jokes that they pulled a while ago.

"Wait wait wait hold on.....you did what with Pinkie?" Dash asked.

Sound stopped his laughing for a moment before talking between breaths.

"Yeah.....me and....Pinkie.....we literally grabbed my old cannon........and fired it into the library just as......Twilight opened the door and ducked.....we even had pirate hats on......oh my lord.....it was hilarious for the first few moments." Sound said.

The group laughed again but this time was joined by the entire store.

Storm covered his ears as he delivered the tray.

"Yea that is funny.....I swear Vinyl would have gotten a kick out of that." He said as he grabbed a small bottle of his alcohol and poured himself a cup.....he then noticed he was being stared at.

Storm looked over and saw Sound and Minutte staring at him as the table went quiet.

"What.....what did I say?" He asked shrugging.

Sound leaned onto the table. "What was that name you said?" He asked making sure he didn't hear things.

Storm chugged down his drink and sighed. "Vinyl Scratch.....why do you know her?" He countered defensively.

Sound and Minutte smiled. "Yea we know her......in fact we were housemates for a while." Sound said.

"We haven't talked to her ever since we returned to the hive." Minutte added quietly.

Storm could tell that they were not lying......for one both of his eyes were green so he could now see anything within Ponyville all the way to the outer fence of Sweet Apple Acres......and the fact that his eyes could tell if they were lying......not to mention that he was able to read lies even without his detection eyes....Storm smiled.

"So you knew her huh......so when was the last time you saw her eh?" He asked.

Sound shifted into a more comfortable position.

"We last saw her at the beach house we used to live in." He replied.

Storm smiled. "Oh yea.......I remember her talking about that......Vinyl also told me about you two.......apparently you three were unable to separate.......you know we actually shared an apartment for an entire year.........well then again we were being hunted so it was the best solution we could think of.....then again we did bond a lot more after we visited Cloudsdale in the year nine eighty five.....don't look at me like that." He said as Sound and Minutte stared at him in disbelief.

Minutte laughed. "You are such a bad liar......that was fifteen years ago.....there is no way that you could have been there......you must have hit your head on something." She said to Storm.

Surprise.....Scootaoo and Dash walked away to a different table while Pinkie pulled out popcorn and was watching the argument.

Sound simply leaned back in silence not willing to get dragged into anything.

"I have one simple question Storm.......if you knew Vinyl for a year tell me......what is the reason her hearing is more keen than a bats?" Sound questioned.

Storm smirked. "Because she goes blind for an entire month every five months which she used to increase her overall senses." He replied causing Sound's jaw to drop.

Minutte was still not convinced. "Ok then mister hotshot.......what do you mean you were roommates for a year?.....and what's all this crap about being hunted then?" She asked.

Storm was happy to answer. "Well for one.......me and Vinyl were the unfortunate test subjects of the royal apothecary's......that I where I got this metal fused to my body.......forcefully I might add......we escaped and armed ourselves with some 'very' nice weapons.....after I equipped them all including her shades.....that is not relevant though......we ended up in Manehatten and had to stay there for an entire year......that way we could be certain we were not being hunted." He explained.

Minutte had decided to prod more. "What weapons?" She asked.

Storm sighed. "My personal dagger Demise two wing blades Vinyl's personal hidden blade.....her gun Bullet Bill....my grenade launcher.....two pairs of saddlebags and Vinyl's shades.....and of course we had our own skills for more physical combat." He replied.

Minutte gave up and leaned back. "Fine you win.....you knew her already......but how were you in the year nine eighty five?" She asked.

Storm chuckled. "Now that Minutte would be telling......and not to mention I would be breaking my promise to a friend if I did." He replied standing up then walking away leaving the two disguised changelings behind.

Sound just shook his head and chuckled. "So Minutte....I can tell that you are frustrated.......I don't need changeling powers to tell that." He teased.

Minutte just slapped him.

Pinkie stood up and followed Storm not willing to get involved in a sibling matter.

Storm chuckled at this and sat down with his family and Surprise.....Pinkie also sat down.

Scootaloo stared at Storm for moment before leaning in on the table.

"So Storm.....who's Vinyl huh?" Scootaloo asked as Dash....Pinkie and Surprise leaned in.

Storm sighed. "This is going to be a long day." He said.

The entire table listened as Storm began his story.
