The sun was shining all through Equestria on this early morning. Ponies were going through their business as usual. All in all it was a pretty normal day. Except for six mares and two princesses who were on there way up a mountain.
Walking in the middle of the Everfree forest towards the mountain in the distance were Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and the two princesses Luna and Celestia. This day held a very special meaning for all of them. This day five years ago Spike left to take his five year nap.
(Flashback)

Of course it is Spike. Every dragon needs a hoard when they sleep. At least I think they do ......hehe... The other dragon had one.
Yeah but he was also a jerk. And besides why do I need to sleep I feel fine...really.

The group turned towards her with concerned faces.
"What's wrong Rarity? Are you okay?" Twilight asked worried about her friend.
"I'm...i...IM SWEATING!!" Rarity whined.
They all gave her deadpanned looks while Rainbow Dash groaned.
"Ughhh....why couldn't we leave her in Ponyville?" Rainbow questioned.
"Sugarcube ya kno we can't do that. Especially not today." Applejack stated.
"Why don't we just teleport? Or fly? Or take a carriage? Ooh ooh ooh why don't w..."
Twilight sighed as she used her magic to silence Pinkie Pie.
"Pinkie we can't teleport there or fly because it would be to energy draining. And we need our energy for when we get there." Twilight stated matter-of-factly.
"oh..." Pinkie stated sadly.
"Do not fret Ms.Pie for we are almost there!" Luna stated enthusiastically.
Pinkie gasped running up the mountain at full speed. "Hurry girls he's waiting for us!" Pinkie shouted towards the girls.
"Now were talking!!" Rainbow cheered flying after pinkie with the girls running to keep up.
"These mares never cease to amaze me with their boundless amount of energy dear sister." Luna stated while facing Celestia.
"Yes they are amazing aren't they? Well shall we take the scenic route? It has been a while since we strolled through the Everfree together." Celestia stated nostalgically.
"Why? Afraid all that cake went to your fat plot?" Luna teased while sticking out her tongue and running up the mountain.
"Oh it is on." Celestia said while chasing after her.
"Ruffians.. I for one am a lady and I shall not partake on something barbaric as running. Just imagine what it would do to my make up." Stated Rarity matter-of-factly.
"Ughh Rarity there is nothing 'barbaric' about running. Its a form of exercise all ponies need. And besides what if they get there and you're not there and he assumes you didn't care enough about him to c......." Twilight tried to finish but couldn't as a white blur sped past her.
"I'm coming Spikeyyyyyyyyyy!" Rarity yelled as she ran off up the mountain.
"Yeah but its soooo unladylike." Twilight rolled her eyes as she ran to catch up.
As they all raced up the mountain where the first red dragon Fluttershy used her stare on to make him fly away weeping they all had one thought on their mind.
"We're coming Spike!"

Ok first story I ever written so criticism is very much appreciated no matter how rude. Hopefully i can make a story you will all enjoy!
Dark. Darkness. Dark. Darkness. Left? Dark. Right? Dark. Up? Darkness. Down? Darkness. This officially sucks. When someone tells you that you're gonna take a five year nap.....I expect a nap. With dreams sunshine sparkles all that jazz but what do I get.......a void. A stupid black motionless void. Why couldn't I get visions? Or maybe even some ancient draconic prophecy about how I'm gonna become this great awesome hero. Yup that would've been sweet. This just sucks I would rather be reshelving with twi......scratch that this isn't that bad. Hmmmm how long have I been here sitting? Floating? Falling? I don't know I guess just being stationary in this super awesome DARKNESS! I lost count after a thousand and........ughhhhh this sucks. I blame Twilight...yup she is somehow at fault here....somehow. Booooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrreeeeddd. I at least wanna sleep in this darkness. Wait. Five years...utter darkness? Haha. Funny girls. Rainbow? Pinkie? Twilight? You girls got me now drop the spell. How stupid dragons only take hundred year naps not five. Funny joke girls.

Great. I'm going insane. Five years in total darkness makes you insane. Oh Celestia...if I was here for a hundred or a thousand years.....well I can see how King Sombra stayed insane. Well I might as well think......again since there is nothing else to do. I wonder if I'll be as powerful as Celestia or even Twilight. That'll be sweet and with my newly grown wings I can literally sweep Rarity off her hooves and give her the world. Wings. I'll need help learning how to fly first.....I'm counting on Rainbow Dash for that. No offense to Fluttershy but she's basically a earth pony with wings.......that felt mean to say about her. Hmmm and if I do get magic I'll need a teacher........preferably someone not prone to magical breakdowns. Maybe Zecora? She'll be a good teacher........plus it helps that she's a natural beauty with those amazing curves, those enchanting eyes, that glorious mane, and that plump but fit flank. Ha....look at me couple years in a dark void I suddenly sound like a horny stallion.

There goes that aggravating buzzing again. Where is it even coming from? Maybe its here to keep me company? Or just to torture me more....but at least it something. Well the bright side I can feel things again. The bad side the first thing I feel is pain in my back. Wait. In my back? Ok the pain is subsiding that's goo..........AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH buck this hurts so bad. This is the Worst. Possible. Pain. Ok I've been around Rarity to much but this still hurts badly. Did...did something just rip? Ok...now I can't feel anything....again.

Ok I'm starting to miss the pain already. At least it took my mind off the buzzing. I wish I could use my arms at least then maybe I could punch the darkness away...yeah call me Spike the darknes.....I'm not even gonna finish that lame thought. Is....is that a light? Omg yes yes yes yes yes a light finally. Its getting bigger and wider? Why is it so blurry? Almost as if my eyes are clo........oh well let me open my eyes then.

"Well I know what that buzzing was now." Spike stated staring at the glowing light purple barrier around him and his hoard. Come on wings tell me I have wings. Yes score I finally have wings but why are the just hanging limp on my back. Maybe I can flap them?

Not a good idea there still sore and numb. Ooh maybe I have magic now let's see...maybe levitation. If I remember Twilight always said concentrate and will it to move. Lets see I just need a boulder to move......
Crash
Spike stared dumbfounded as the boulder crush into tiny pebbles on the ceiling of the cave before falling down around him. Spike started to grin and chuckle like a filly on her birthday as he wondered exactly how powerful he was.
"Holy guacamole I'm amazing. What else can I do?"
I wonder can I teleport or fire out powerful beams. Ok lets calm down Spike don't want to go to crazy. I'll have to study a lot more on spells then before...... Ok just one more spell attempt. I gotta see if I can teleport. Ok think of a distance and envision yourself there.
*Poof*
"No way. *poof* This....poof....is.....poof...awe.....poof...some....poof." Exclaimed Spike before suddenly getting drowsy.
Ok so maybe constantly teleporting wasn't a good thing if *Yawn* if it makes you this tired. Well since the barrier is still up that means the girls haven't arrived yet. Hopefully they won't mind if *yawn* I get a few more hours of sleep. Spike slowly climbed back on top of his hoard of gems and coins. He circled in on himself while resting his head on his tail slowly driftng off to sleep while thinking......
"I'm totally gonna be a badass!"
"Oh Come on! We finally make it up here and he's still sleep!" Rainbow exclaimed while hovering over Spike's sleeping form. "Are you sure he's supposed to wake up now egghead?"
"I th..think so.....hold on." Twilight commented as she levitated a checklist from her satchel. 'Gatherings girls. Check. Wait for princesses. Check. Walk through..'
"Woah woah woah....you made a checklist..... seriously." Rainbow said while narrowing her eyes at Twilight. "Ugh this isn't one of your little experiments Twilight.
Twilight looked slightly offended that Rainbow would suggest that she would treat a day as important as this as an experiment. Before she was able to tell her how wrong she was she was interrupted by laughing. Giggling to be more precise. As she looked towards her friends to see who was laughing she was met with the same look on each of their faces, including the normally bubbly and hyper Pinkie Pie. Utter confusion and slight terror on Fluttershy's face. After realizing her friends weren't the ones laughing, they all turned to see Princess Celestia trying very hard to hold her composure.
"Princess ar.......are you laughing at me?" Twilight felt like her hurt was gonna break. Her mentor was laughing.....at her because of how silly she was acting. 'Maybe she found out how much my life has fallen apart without Spike. Or maybe she thinks I'm not living up to my princess duties by relying on checklists still. What if she sends me to Princess training.' Twilight shuddered at the memories of Cadence telling her about when she went through training. "Please Princess I'm sorry for using checklist still but I...I" Before she was able to panic further Luna decided to intervene.
"Calm thyself Twilight. We believe......I believe my sister is laughing because of that." Luna pointed them towards Spikes prone form after catching herself using the royal 'We'. As they all turned to see what she meant they saw Spike still sleep. Which confused them all except Twilight.
"Princess Luna no disrespect but I don't understand what you wanna show us, he's still sleep. Which I must say is very rude of a gentlestai.....err gentledrake." While they were still talking Twilight was taking in Spikes appearance while closely studying him. Not only did he get bigger but also he seemed to pick up more muscle mass and he had wings hanging limply on his back. His purple scales seemed to darken slightly while his green spikes and green underbelly seemed to be colored a little lighter. His claws seemed to be slightly sharper and his fangs were longer. While she studied his face she was surprised to see his face was less chubby and more chiseled, strong, and slighty longer. While she continued to poke and prod while studying him Celestia made her way over towards them. Sitting herself next to Twilight she spoke. "He couldn't fool you either?" Hearing Celestia's voice snapped Twilight out of her prodding long enough for her to acknowledge the presence next to her.
"He did at first because I wasn't used to his new form but now.......he definitely isn't fooling me." Twilight laughed then adopted a smug smile while leaning in in close so only these two could hear her. "And unless he wants me to tell everyone about how he used to run around taking your regalia and claiming to be 'The Beautiful Princess Spike' he will wake up right now" Spikes smirk that he had been wearing on his face the whole time they were here quickly changed to a face of horror as his eyes snapped open.
"You wouldn't dare." Spike whispered completely terrified staring into her eyes looking for any signs of a bluff.
"Wanna bet?" She taunted him feeling extremely confident she had won. Until she saw the smirk on Spikes face as he uttered three words.
"Prince Smarty Pants" Spike shot back with a smirk knowing he won. Princess Celestia just sat there with a smile on her face, happy to see that even with five years passing their friendship is still strong. Remembering how these little bouts go between these two she took a few strides back to explain to the girls and Luna what was happening.
Seconds turned into minutes as the two continued to stare at each other seeing who would make the first move. "Are you sure they're ok? They've been staring for an awfully long time.If you don't mind me asking Princess." Princess Celestia smiled at Fluttershy's timid nature like one would at a bunny.
"Don't worry this always happened. I'm surprised you all didn't know they did this before." As if the princesses words were the trigger she was looking for Twilight launched herself straight into Spikes chest sending them both tumbling head over heel in a mixture of purple,green and streaks of pink. Usually Twilight won in the battle of strength with Spike which she was expecting to happen again before she suddenly found herself on her back pinned by an equally surprised Spike looming over her. Spikes look of confusion quickly changed to the biggest shit-eating grin she ever saw on his face which was slowly leaning down towards her muzzle. Blushing Twilight closed her eyes not knowing what to expect.
"HA"
As if those words were the final straw Twilight eyes popped open with a fiery determination which caught Spike off guard. But before he could get his bearings he was suddenly face first into the ground with a slight fizzle of air being the only thing he heard before all the air left his body as Twilight rematerialized on his back quickly restraining his hands and legs. After catching his breath he spoke to Twilight before she started celebrating her victory.
"Twi that's cheating" Twilight taking this opportunity to taunt leaned forward to Spikes ear to utter one word.
"HA"
Now Spike usually isn't petty enough to resort to cheating also but apparently magic wasn't cheating. Smirking Spike calmly focused on the area behind Twilight, closed his eyes and was gone. Gasps rang from everyone including the princesses as they thought something happen to him. Applejack was the first to snap out of it.....kinda.
"Twi wha' did you do" Applejack exclaimed as they all started to panic.
"Nothing he just up and van....OOMPH" Everyone was shocked as Spike reappeared behind Twilight and pinned her down but soon those shocked looks changed to ones of embarrassment and slight jealousy in Raritys case. No face was as red as Twilights though since Spikes sudden teleport left them in a very awkward predicament.
"HA"
Spike wondering why he didn't get a reaction from Twilight as usual looked up at the rest of the girls only to see them all red faced with different emotions showing. For Applejack, Fluttershy, and Luna they were covering their eyes with their hooves while blushing heavily. While Rainbow Dash and Pinkie were simply wide eyed staring with slight drool leaking from the corner of their mouths. Rarity was blushing while scowling with jealousy growing stronger in her eyes. Celestia just sat there face slightly red grinning with an eyebrow raised suggestively. Spike taking in their reactions looked down at him and Twilight to see she was face down front hooves spread out while being pinned by his hands with her flank high and pushed into his crotch while her tail was lightly wrapped around his waist. It took Spike a second to realize he was slowly unsheathing himself with her constantly struggling. Blushing Spike let her go and quickly stepped back he watched her slowly lower her tail and flank catching a quick glimpse of liquid on her inner thigh.

Seeing that no one wanted to talk anytime soon Pinkie took this chance to bring her party cannon. Slowly she grabbed the string pulling it until a loud bang went off startling everyone.
"SURPRISE" Pinkie yelled while confetti, ballons, a punch table, a snack table, and a disco ball exploded from the cannon setting up one of her infamous Pinkie Pie parties. It took everyone a few seconds to snap out of there fantasies to see the party going on and start to swarm Spike with questions about his magic, wings, teeth, strength, and if he still liked cupcakes. Which he answered one at a time as best he could. With that done they partied on for a while before Spike excused himself. As he walked towards the cliff near his cave overlooking Ponyville, sitting down he began to think. 'I wonder if the cmc finally got their marks' 'Did Mac and Cheerilee finally get married' 'Did any of the girls find a special somepony yet' For some reason that didn't sit right with him but before he could delve down that rabbit hole any further he was snapped out his thoughts by a voice.
"Mind if I join you?" He turned his head right to see Twilight standing next to him smiling.
"Sure Twi" He smiled while patting the ground next to him. Smiling she sat down next to him while looking towards Ponyville. They sat in silence for a while before Twilight spoke up.
"I missed you Spike. We all did the girls, the crusaders, Zecora, Big Mac, Mr. and Mrs. Cake, everypony did. Even Owlicious and Derpy. Basically what I'm trying to say is......Welcome Back Spike!" Twilight said as she hugged him. Spike instantly returned the hug while whispering in her ear.
"I missed you two. All of you." Spike stated before his mood suddenly switched to a more serious one. " I have a question, did any of you find your special someponies yet?"
"Nope not yet, why?" Twilight questioned with a tilt of her head as she pulled back from the hug slightly.
"No reason..." Spike said as he pulled her back into the hug. Twilight not being able to see his face just, melted back into the hug. Had she seen his face she would've saw a very disturbing grin with red eyes replacing his normal emerald green before flashing back to normal as he continued to rub her back.
"No reason at all..."
