I Live With The Dazzlings
Moving In
Load Full StoryNext ChapterThunder held his résumé in one hand, and his phone in another. He was ready to meet with his roommates and talk. The door opened and an orange female walked in.
"Well, hello. I'm Adagio. You?" She asked.
"I'm Thunder. Nice to meet you." He held his hand out.
She shook it, and then noticed his badge saying 'Canterlot Police Academy'.
"Oh? This is from my secondary school. Since my father was a fireman and my mom died on police duty, I couldn't avoid the law field." Thunder said.
Okay, don't mess with him. Adagio thought.
"Well, I'm sorry to hear that." She said.
"It's alright, I barely got to know them as it is. My mother investigated my school after the whole 'Fall Formal' happened." Thunder said.
Fall Formal? Oh, no. He's from CHS... Adagio worried.
"And there was the Musical Showcase which I had to miss due to my extreme case of the cold. When I got back, everyone talked about it as if it was another alien attack." Thunder said.
Thank Celestia, he doesn't know. Adagio thought now relieved.
Then, Aria walked in.
"Adagio, when are you done with the interview? Sonata's going off again about lunch." The purple siren said.
"Well, are these your sisters?" Thunder asked.
"Yes, unfortunately. Tell her I'll be done soon." Adagio said.
"Well, all I can say is I know what you're going through. My sister's just the same." Thunder said.
"Well, try two of them, and one of them begging for tacos 24/7."
The two talked about their daily routines and other family matters, all while avoiding anything from Equestria.
"Well, what do you say?" Adagio asked.
"Why not? It's not like I have anywhere else to go." Thunder shook her hand and walked to pack his things.
"Sonata, Aria, remember, let nothing about Equestria slip out! This is our chance to settle down, and we will NOT waste it." Adagio said with her commanding voice.
"Ja mein Führer" Aria teased.
Adagio gave her sister a death stare. She showed a flinch as she walked away, Sonata followed totally lost, only worrying about her tacos. As for Thunder, he managed to grab his family photo and his old BB gun from his father and left his apartment to join his new roomates.
"Let's see how this plays out..." Thunder said.
He knocked and was awnsered by Aria.
"Oh, hey Thunder, your rooms the one on the left."
He walked in to see a decent setup with a 30 inch flatscreen T.V, a closet, and a game chair.
Lucky for him, because he loved Advanced Warfare...
He decided to play splitscreen Exo Zombies. He was at round 20, he had the CEL-3 Cauterizer at mark 15, he was almost at the easter egg, but then Sonata walked in.
"Is that Advanced Warfare?!"
The reply made him jump and almost killed him in-game.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!"
"No, it's okay. You just startled me, that's all."
"Phew. Do you have a second controller?" She asked.
The question both surprised and confused Thunder. Never in his life did a girl he ever met asked him if they can play Call of Duty with him. But that didn't matter.
"Sure. We might want to start over." He paused and exited the game.
"Well, you didn't have to do that!" She said.
"It was either that or force you to wait." Thunder said.
"Well, let's go." Sonata grabbed the second controller and sat on the bed.
Remember Thunder, no matter how bad she might be, give her a chance. He told himself.
When the game started, Sonata was actually pretty good. By round 10, she had the Cauterizer at mark 17, an exo suit, Exo Health, and Exo Reload. As for Thunder, he had a mark 16 Tac-19, a mark 20 MK14, an exo suit, and Exo Health. The game went from round 20 to round 41 in an hour. Little did Sonata know, Thunder wanted to do YouTube. The game ended when a horde of zombies flooded the map and wiped Thunder out. Sonata was last.
"Well, that was fun, huh?" Thunder asked.
"Yeah, too bad you don't have YouTube." She said.
"Man, if I had YouTube...Hey, we should do an account!" Thunder said.
"Wait, for realizes?" Sonata asked.
"Yeah! You and me, we can be..." He was cut off on a name.
"How about SonataandThunder?" Sonata asked.
"Nah, too personal. How about... Thetacopartners!" Thunder said.
"Perfect! Man, if we could do more than gaming..." Sonata said.
Then something hit Thunder.
"Music videos!" He said.
"No! ...No." Thunder was surprised by Sonata's reaction.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Yeah. Just bad memories that's all." Sonata said.
"Well, that's your business, not mine." Thunder walked out to make dinner.
He and the others shared a homemade pizza by Thunder. And it was good, clearly according to the former sirens.
"Where did it say you could cook in your résumé? This is great!" Adagio said.
"I don't compliment people much, but this is good stuff Thunder." Aria said.
"This is almost better than tacos!" Sonata said.
"Well, my uncle and aunt own Sugarcube Corner down the road. I was thought to cook by them when I was 13. I got the hang of it at 15. So I was cooking for 4 years." Thunder said realizing that his 18th birthday was coming up.
We can get used to him... *Adagio thought to herself as she ate.*
