*This story takes place while Crème and Claire are still fillies, and T is just over a year old*
"Crème! Wait for me!" Crème was galloping ahead of her mother, eager to put her hoof in Ponyville for the first time. She had never been in Ponyville before, and her mother had insisted that, "Ponyville would give Crème just the right dose of small town life, but not too much." "Crème!" Fleur's voice became farther and farther away as Crème kept galloping forward. She stopped as she came to the exit platform of the train, slowly putting her front hoof down. Her hoof touched the concrete of the train station, and Crème giggled, walking forward and trotting in circles as she waited for her mother to get off of the train. Before she could look for her mother, though, somepony galloped into her, knocking her to the ground.
Claire and T were galloping around the train station, laughing and weaving around other ponies. They were eager for their mother to come home, as Rarity had been in Manehattan for a fashion project for the last two weeks. Plus, one of the reasons she was coming home was that a famous pony was staying with them while she and her daughter were in Ponyville, and Claire couldn't wait to meet her. She only hoped her daughter was her age! Somewhere along the way, T and Claire had gotten seperated, and Claire was looking for him fervently. "T! Turquoise Blitz! Where are you?!" As she was galloping around, Claire ended up running into somepony, knocking them to the ground. Claire got up, apologizing repeatedly to the pony, still whipping her head around, looking for her brother.
Crème glanced up to see a purple pony with a darker purple mane in front of her, looking every which way. "Are you lost?" The pony looked at her, her eyes wild. "No, I lost my little brother. Have you seen a green pony with a dark green mane anywhere?" Crème shook her head, and the purple pony sighed. "I thought so. Thanks anyway." Just as the pony was about to walk away, Crème found herself saying, "But I can help you look for him, if you want." The pony smiled gratefully at her, nodding. "I'm Crème De La Crème, but most ponies just call me Crème. Any you are?" "Crystal Clarity, but most just call me Claire. Aren't you Fleur and Fancy's daughter?" "Yeah. My mom brought me to Ponyville to help me better understand the small town life, but I haven't seen her since I got off the train." "Then you must be staying with me and my mother! She said that Fleur and her daughter were staying with us while they were in Ponyville!" Crème smiled, then said, "That sounds great! I think we'll be great friends, Claire." "I think so too, Crème. Now, we'll help each other find our families." Claire and Crème smiled at each other, then galloped off.
"Turquoise! Fleur!" "Mom! Turquoise Blitz!" The two mares weaved in and out of ponies, shouting Fleur and Turquoise's names. "Crème!" Crème turned around at the sound of her mother's voice, relief filling her. "Mom!" Crème ran up to her mother, hugging her tightly. "Crème! Oh, my dear daughter, don't you ever scare me like that again!" "Of course not, mum." "Come on, dear. Let's go to the house we're staying at." Crème looked up at her mother, stepping out of the hug. "Not yet, mum. I have to help a filly I met find her younger brother. I can't leave until I've helped her." Fleur smiled softly at her daughter, nodding. "Okay."
"Claire!" Claire turned around as she heard Crème calling her name, her mother trotting along behind her. "Crème!" Crème came to a stop right in front of Claire, turning back to her mother. "Mum, this is Crystal Clarity, whom most call Claire. Claire, this is my mother, Fleur Dis Lee." Fleur stared at Claire's horns, unsure of what her daughter had just gotten her into. "Have you found your brother yet, Claire?" Claire shook her head at Crème's question, her eyes shining with unshed tears. "I'm starting to freak out, Crème! If my mother finds out that I lost T, she'll kill me!" "Then let's keep looking! He has to be around here somewhere! Let's split up and keep looking, then meet at the flag in a few minutes." The three nodded, spreading in three different directions.
Crème galloped around as fast as her hooves could take her, her sharp eyes catching on each and every pony, looking for a filly who looked like Claire, but green. Finally, her eyes caught on a small green colt with a green mane, shivering in fright by a bench. Crème trotted up to the pony, glancing down at him. "You look like a T. Are you T?" The small colt cooed, which Crème took as a yes. "You look like your sister, and there's nopony around watching you. You must be T. Come on, let's take you back to your sister, T." Crème slid the filly onto her back, trotting back to Claire, as not to drop T.
Fleur and Claire were both back at the flag, glancing around worriedly for Crème. "Claire! I think I found him!" Claire spun around and saw Crème trotting up to them, T on her back. "Turquoise!" Claire galloped up to Crème, picking T up by the scruff of his neck and setting him down in front of her. "Don't you ever run away from me again, mister. You had me worried sick about you!" T looked at the ground, guilt evident on his face. "I'm just glad you're okay!" "Claire! Turquoise!" Claire whipped her head around to see her mother galloping up to them. "Mom!" Rarity pulled Claire into a hug, tears sliding down her face. Then, she pulled away, her eyes catching on Fleur. "Fleur?" "Rarity?" Then, they both said at the same time, "What are you doing here?!" Crème and Claire shared a smile, both of them holding back giggles...
