After sitting in your apartment couch just thinking about what to do for today, since that there's not a thing TO do around your place. All you got is magazines, and usually. Sodas. That's about it.
You get up on your two feet, and walked to the kitchen to fix yourself something to drink. You've only been in Ponyville for about three days now. And you're surprised that everyone. Or as they put it, "Everypony." Is surprised that their not scared of you, at all. Weird is it?
You remember that the pony who offered you this apartment said that you don't have to worry about rent till you get paid on your first job. Which who knows what it'll be, until you find the job that you like in Ponyville that is.
As you was fixing yourself a glass of what looks like coke, you hear a knock on your door. Huh, wonder who that could be. You walked to the door with the drink in your hand. You look through the little eye piece of your door. Is that Mayor Mare?
You open the door.
"Hello." Mayor Mare said as she waved hello to you.
"Um... hi." You said as you take a slurp of your drink. "Won't you come in?" You said as you offered her to let you in.
"Thank you." She said as she walked into your apartment. You asked if she wanted something to drink, but she declined. "So what brings you here Mayor." You said as you take another slurp.
"Oh, I have a special of honor guess to celebrate with, and I was wondering if you would like to join in the celebration."
"Is this... pony new here?" You said as if you was about to say. "Is this person new here?"
"Well, it is a mare. And she is new here, and she has saved Ponyville from a dam that was about to burst that's not far from here. Before it was about to burst she saved us all. And we was hoping if you could come to the party."
"I would be honored to." You said as you smiled at the Mayor. Mayor Mare is very pleased.
"Oh thank you so much." She said smiling.
"No problem. Oh, when is this party by the way. Tomorrow or...?"
"Yes, it will be tomorrow. I'll introduce you to her, since that both you, and her are new here."
"I can't wait." You said smiling and slurping your soda.
"Alright. I'll see you tomorrow."
"Tomorrow it is." You said as you opened the door for her. She thanked you for that and she walked back to her little Ponyville office.

Tomorrow has arrived. You've been awaken by the princesses sunlight beaming down on your face. You look at the clock on your nightstand. It's 9:00 AM. You got up, stretched your limbs, took a shower, brushed your teeth, and ate your breakfast. Waffles ain't too bad. Better then back on Earth. You're just sitting at the table eating your favorite waffles, and thinking.
'Who is this pony that just moved here? Has she met me before? Have I seen her before? That, I don't know. But I can't wait to find out who, or what it is.'
After washing your plate and placed it back in it's cabinet. You decided to get ready for this "Celebration." that the mayor has invited you to. You're hoping that it'll be awesome. Like the boring one you went to. You know that horrible guest of honor thing in your school last month before you came here? It was horrible.
You looked into your closet to find what to wear. You do't have a suit, nor a tux, nor anything nice. I guess you'll have to go in your fancy outfit. So that's what you did. You're really hoping that the mayor doesn't mind that you don't have anything nice to wear.

Finally, after what feels like forever. Walking to the town hall. As you walk inside, it doesn't take long for Mayor Mare to notice you.
"Ah, you're here!"
"I am. I hope you don't mind." You said nervously. "I don't have anything nice to wear. So, all I have is this."
"Oh that's okay" She said smiling. "Anyways, here's the guest of honor to Ponyville's hero." You look to see where she's pointing her hoof. You see a female pegasus standing there taking a few sips of her punch. She has a dark blue mane with a dark blue coat. And has a wind blowing frame as her cutie mark.
She turns to face you. "Who are you? What are you?" The pegasus asked while she searches around you as if you're a criminal.
"Oh Sally I forgot to introduce you to him." Mayor Mare said as she trotted beside you. She introduces you.
"Oh is this the... human that you was talking about?" Said Sally with a wide smile on her face.
"Yes ma'am in deed."
"Wow, you look cute." She said as she pointed at you. You blushed a little at her response to you. Wow, she seems really nice.
"Alright everypony. Lets get in position." The mayor said as she asked you to wait at the balcony. So that's what you did. You stood at the edge as you rest your elbows on the railings, and watch the ponies from up high as they cheer for Ponyville's new hero.
"Alright everypony." Mayor Mare said into the microphone. "Please put your hoffs on the ground for... Sally the pegasi." She said as she stood right beside you and you both just waved. After the whole thing has ended, and she walked to the doorway.
"You coming?" She said facing you and smiles.
"Yeah." You smiled back. But something's about to go wrong. You start to hear a loud crack sound that's coming from your feet. You freeze, hoping that the crack sound would go away. You stood there and looked down. The cracks still forming, and you're just less then in inch away from it. This is bad.
"Hey, you alri-" Said Sally as she's been interrupted by the balcony starting to loose its support. You jumped a little by the noise and you slide back. Your back hits the railings. You look down, it's a long way down from here to the ground. You start to panic as the balcony gets loose and loose. "HOLD ON!" Sally yells as she gets in position, then darts off to save you. But before she could get to you. The balcony starts to break, and you start to fall with the balcony. You look down to see the ground get quickly closer and closer. You shut your eyes tight, hoping to make this quick.
But you've been saved by... 'BOING' A trampoline? You open your eyes. It is a trampoline. Your shaking body is saved from the free fall that almost killed you.
"Oh my gosh! Are you okay?!" Sally said as she flew next to you.
"Y-Yeah." You said catching your breath. Lucky to be alive." "H-How did you do that?"
"I didn't." Sally said as she looked at you. You looked at her in confusion. How did she not save you from that... horrible death? How did this trampoline get here?
"Oh thank goodness that was close!" Said a pony with a high pitched voice. You look to wear that pony's voice came from. There, standing next to the trampoline. Is a pink pony with a puffy mane. She has balloons as her cutie mark, and she has very large blue eyes that you call... beautiful. "Oh thank Celestia! You don't know how lucky you are right now!" She said as she trotted beside you.
"How... How did you-"
"I have emergency trampolines all over Ponyville." She said with a smile.
I think what she's trying to say to you, is that she might of just ran a million miles to grab a trampoline to save your ass from falling off of a large balcony. You're still speechless on how fast this pony ran to save YOUR life. And you can't thank her enough for it.
"I run fast like a bunny rabbit. It's Never Too Late to save somepony when their in danger. I just grab an emergency... what ever and yeah." She said smiling.
"Thanks." Was all you could say. You introduce yourself.
"Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie." The cotton candy pony said as she shook your hand. It feels so warm and the fur's so soft. It's not like the creatures you know back at home. "Nice to meet you."
"It was... nice to meet you too." You said as you're still speechless. "But wait, what about the balcony?"
"Got it covered." Said Sally as she pointed to the balcony that's laying on the front doorway.
"Oh."
