The order of the old queens. The days of the dark ones shadow.
As the book opens you can see the age old dust fly off into the air as old ink written by one queen. Her name seems lost in translation. Her is her story. "The dark one is finally gone we are free from his terror for ever now...I still remember the battle as if I was still there. So I write from the start. The dark one a monster of a dragon huge black with piercing glowing orange eyes like fire he came up to our home. He terrorized us for years destroying hives and killing queens. Our hives where not his only goal the diamond dogs there packs and mines found scorched and overpowered like a pony would eat an apple growing larger and lager. when we had nothing left the last few queens and there hives too sanctuary in the north and surviving diamond dogs fallowed we where cornered. The pony's did not care they had there own issues that I can not say I my self cared to remember. All I cared about was going north to the Chititonies hives mothers and fathers carried nymphs on there backs the diamond dogs offering there remaining tunnels for safer transport the few pony gypsies also offered help in using there carts or calling others to help the crowd. when we finally made it to the Chitlitones. The dark one seemed to linger behind waiting. We had nothing left and he dared threaten us. That was when we stood up not as one hive fighting an enemy but as one would fight for survival he attacked in the early morning. His earth shaking roar hit us like a storm and we hit him back. the sound of the hundreds of thousands of wings went up in the air the buzzing sound of the horns glowing in a rainbow of colors and the hissing of many like that of a giant snake the diamond dogs howls heard softened into melody. I stood there with the queens that have made it I believe that there was fifty six there they where all tired hungry and willing to die if that meant the safety of there hives. the queens horns glowed the brightest leaving the changelings still on the ground with most of the queens standing with them. I was there with the flight we bunched together changing our shape as much as possible creating the protecting fire around us going faster and faster toward the dark one I could not see anything but the many flames it was so entrancing i lost myself for a moment. We had gone strait threw the dark one creating a hole in it but even from the distance it was still fighting swiping at charging changelings and diamond dogs shrugged off and the gypsy pony's. but cheerers where heard form the changelings watching in the city. we cheered to as the volley of magic hit the dark one knocking it back. The volley was like a title wave the shots from the changelings where nearly unified and mixed as if it was a melted rainbow. we charged again this time faster and harder and when we entered the dark one this time we divided burning him from his insides his blood was boiling as the small fragments of the charge slowly disappeared in the distance. i later learned of what it looked like one particular earth pony said it was like a bolt from a cross bow made of what ever our changing magic was made of colorful and beautiful but pieced threw him like he was paper. i could not help but chuckle a little as the pony dashed off talking about contraptions to be made. But i digress. the dark one was gone now he hit the ground with a shattering thud and with that our tormentor was gone. and now that brings us to here...after the weeks of celebration we must start again....many of the queens are talking about setting up something called: "the order of queens" a court to keep something like this from happening again as well as keeping order within the hives....only time will tell if it will work" the page ends there the queens name still lost and the fallowing pages are just talks of meetings and business of the hive the queen died many years after that her own yonge eager to be like her. she was berried with the rest of the order of queens hidden and lost. but each one has a piece of the dark one on top of her tomb. there gilded crowns to there young when they have taken the thrown the vary same scales as the dragon who roar can still be heard in the wind if you listen in the middle of the night angry and hungry.
