//-------------------------------------------------------// Choose Your Own Adventure: Trapped In The EverFree -by TheIrisianPrincess- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 "Yeah, right," you smugly think to yourself. "Of course nopony's orchestrating some elaborate game for me to play for their own sick and demented amusement." So, you walk through the left passageway. You notice as the sun dips ever so slightly in the sky. It's getting dark and you have no idea where to go. You can't even use your horn for illumination. As you walk forward, you notice that the growth is getting considerably more sparse. Perhaps you were closer to home than previously thought? But then, you're faced with another ridiculous choice. You notice another passageway to your left that definitely has less plant life than the path you were already on. "Hmm, I'd better think about this logically," you say to yourself. "Should I go forward, or should I take the detour?" What will you do? Take the detour Go straight ahead //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 "Yeah, right," you smugly think to yourself. "Of course nopony's orchestrating some elaborate game for me to play for their own sick and demented amusement." So, you go through the right passageway, and you fall off a cliff. Man, if only you were an Alicorn Princess. https://40.media.tumblr.com/2117157fd011748caeaf64fca72c396b/tumblr_njbxeyFunU1so9klao1_1280.png //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 This confusing decision has left you completely dumbfounded. You stay exactly where you are, so you can ponder more on your situation. "Let's see now," you say. "If this is some sort of elaborate ruse, then perhaps they would realize I'd over-think this decision and actually not have it matter at all." Happy with your conclusion, you realize that you still have to make a decision. But, no matter, you just figured out that it doesn't actually matter which one you choose. "Wait! What if they knew I would come to the conclusion that they had anticipated that I would over-analyze this choice, and it actually turns out that the choice itself does matter!" So, you sit there and ponder more. You notice that the sun dips ever so slightly in the sky. You wait and wait... trying to figure out which path to take. Your thinking gets interrupted by a sudden musky smell, as well as a low growling sound. You turn around and then... https://40.media.tumblr.com/eef41e28f5bda8cda053d1efdf2a8340/tumblr_njbxeyFunU1so9klao2_r1_540.png //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 You wake up, sleepily in the middle of a large expanse of trees. The twilight sky is barely illuminating your purple fur. You try recall how you were brought here, but you come up with no answers. Realizing that you are somewhere in the middle of the EverFree Forest, you cast a "pony-finding spell" to find the nearest town. You cast the spell, but nothing happens. "That's strange," you mutter to yourself. "The spell should've worked." You try and do a simple levitation spell, but found you couldn't do that one either. "Oh, that's bad," you say, trying to reel in your panic so you can think rationally. You look ahead of you, and see two narrow pathways, hidden in the thick bundles of plant life. Neither of them look particularly inviting. Trusting your instincts, you start to wander towards the left, until a certain thought enters your mind. "Wait, I'm in the middle of the EverFree Forest for no easily accessible reason," you think to yourself. "And there are literally two pathways that I can choose, like this is some game of sorts. And I feel like I should go to the left for no particular reason. This seems more like a set-up than anything. So, I think I'm going to go to the right." So, you walk towards the right pathway. "Wait, no. If somebody's intentionally doing this to me, then they must realize that I would come to this conclusion and that would make the correct pathway be the one on the left!" you reason. So, you go to the pathway on the left. "No, wait, maybe right." What will you do?
