The C.S.I.Z Chapter One

My Eyes Spring open from the long sleep I had been trapped in. I start to scan my surroundings as I wonder where I am. I’m laying on a metal platform raised by rusty metal bars, I lift my head up to see that I’m trapped in a large white room made of cloud, there is nothing special except for a dented metal side table with a vase holding pink and purpley brown wilted flowers, a deflated ‘get well soon balloon’ and a note.

I slowly roll over to grasp the small, brown from decay, note. I open the old torn note and read, the smudged letters.

“I Hop-...    Better soo-.   A deadl-.. Infectio-.... Star-ng… - Cloudsdal-... Dont kno- wh-.. is- but… yo- have bee- infect-. You ar-.... onl- sur-ver. of ones-... i-fected… I wil-..(Be). at-... C.S.I.Z… I-... Wak- Up meet u-.... ther-....

Wi- Lov- an-. hope,

Th-.. Crew”

I start to remember everything from the past before I got here, I’m in the Cloudsdale Hospital for a broken wing. I slide off the bed putting the note under my wing for safe keeping.

But what is the, C.S.I.Z? Crazy Super Intense Zap-apples? Nah…

I hit the ground with a slight bang, for the ground is a tile like metal. As I walk toward the rusty metal door, I hear a groaning sound like somepony is in pain.

“Hello? Is somepony there? are you Ok?!”

The groaning sounds quickly get louder and closer, it frightens me to hear the quick speed of the moaning coming to the boarded metal door.

BANG! BANG!

I jump back from the quick loud noise of the door, it sounds like somepony is punching it trying to get in. I go back over to the side table where the note was. There is a drawer inside of the table, it bangs and creaks loudly as I open the drawer, the banging on the door gets more intense as I open the drawer.

I peer inside to see, a small makarov pistol, a dagger, 3 full mags, and a backpack with stale bread and water bottles, I pick up the gun and ready my weapon at the door.

The Metal door bursts open with a pop and a purple pony with a torn up green mane comes rushing after me, her bottom jaw is missing while her intestines hang out her belly dragging on the floor.

I take a shot, Miss, Another shot, A direct headshot. Her head bursts open with bits of brain painting the white walls a reddish brown.

I rush out of my room and into the hospital hall, there are bloody hoofprints painted along the walls, loads of dead soldiers and nurses in piles of rotted death.  The power is out and there are dead, eaten ponies everywhere, all mauled to small piles of meat, vane and broken up bones.

I quietly sneak out of the horrible hospital, but as soon as I get outside I wish I had stayed in the putrid place…. Body Bags soaked in blood, fresh blood, there are small army tents spread out and bits of pony intestines, and blood scattered around the graveyard. I stalk my way through the hundred rows of body bags, one of the bags starts to violently shake and move as I walk by, it turns my silent trot into a silent sprint.

On each tent and body bag it says, C.S.I.Z, along with the dead soldiers uniforms. The entire place has gone to hell, it has all been looted or destroyed. Except In the distance I see an army jeep with a few fuel canisters beside it. I stalk over to it and hop into it, full gas. Time to hit the road!

There few of those, beasts were chasing my jeep but of course I was much faster. They moaned and wandered toward me. There was a giant horde of them right in the middle of the road, I tried to go around them but I ended up ramming straight through a small group. One of them rolled up onto the jeep and stuck their face onto the broken windshield glass. The glass broke into a small hole, I swerved the truck but it flipped from the high speed.  As I hang upside down with the THING ripping its face of the broken glass, I unbuckle my seat-belt and dropped on my head straight onto broken glass. My two front legs have small pieces of wedged glass in them, bleeding. The beast is still wedging its face straight through the broken windshield, letting its skin peel straight off and stick to the window, Its jaws pounding trying to grab me, I kick the door down, with my backpack, ignoring the pain in my legs and limp quickly off into the woods beside the road.

I run into the cold, brambled, and messy woods. A few small glass fragments drop out of my legs, spreading a trail of my blood. I find a small shack right in time, because I was running out of breath and I couldn't hold in my pain. I quickly hobble up the old, worn wooden steps onto the porch. I fling a few chairs over the steps to slow the THINGS down. Luckily they are slow so I have a chance to get inside.

The old door quickly creaks open, I slip inside and let a bookshelf fall in front of the door, barricading it shut. A small book that read "The C.S.I.Z." With a few small subtitles that read "Canterlot Survival Infection Zone"...
