After having a long day, all Twilight wanted to do was read a few good books and go to sleep, she gets half her wish. When suddenly a red flash can be seen throughout Ponyville attracting the attention of not only Twilight, but the entire town of Ponyville. Upon arriving on the scene she is greeted by her five best friends who also came to investigate. What they find isn't what they expected, a stallion, a mane that's as pitch black as any night sky, fur that looks like it had been bathed in soot for years, an odd piece of clothing on him that looked like a coat. Then there were the two most disturbing features, he was covered in head to hoof in scars, some more visible than others. The last feature was revealed when he had partially awoken, his eyes were an unholy shade of red, and even though it was only a second, the glance he gave them sent icicles down their backs. Who or what was this stallion.

Takes place a week after the first Discord event in the show. AU that changes the world as everypony knows it.
