Flight Camp-The Promise part one

A little Rainbow mane filly is flying side by side with her father, Rainbow Blaze. He taking his little filly to her first time ever fight camp in Cloudsdale. Rainbow Dash has been begging her father to take her to summer flight camp ever since she first heard of it. After hundreds of times of begging, her father agreed if Rainbow Dash agree to make friends. Dash happily accepted if that the price to pay to go.

Both Rainbow Pegasus’ landed in front of the Flight camp in different style; the older pegasus landed professionally on all four hooves and the filly landed with a ‘pomph’ in the cloud. Rainbow Dash swiftly removed the cloud from her face to observe all the pegasus inside the flight camp from left, right, and up spotting three types of pegasus’. There are three types of pegasus she saw; the new comers, a few years younger than Dash, barely learning how to properly use their wings, the intermediate skilled pegasi trying to build up their wings strength to fly faster through cloud rings and other activities to increase their ability, the last level are the expert flyer doing incredible aerobatic maneuver, barrel roll, death defying nose dive, high speed zigzagging pattern, and many more advance maneuver making Dash thrilled to get started.
Rainbow Dash looked at her father with pure joy on her face pointing her hoof to the expert flyer “Dad I want to join those guys, that looks so awesome.” She turn her head toward the entrance hearing someone calling out toward them.

A black coat stallion with light grey mane walked out of the entrance speaking to both rainbow mane pegasus’, “Woo there little filly, those flyer are way above your skill level and are way older than you, and if I’m not mistaken telling by your rainbow mane you must be Rainbow Dash.” giving a genuine smile to the filly.

The small filly gave a confuse look to the stallion before speaking back, “Yea, I’m Rainbow Dash, but what do you mean I can’t join them?" Keeping a confuse look while pointing toward the expertflyer.

The dark coat stallion turn his to grab a clipboard from his back, “Well before I answer your question let me check out your name,” checking out the filly name before continuing. “Now to answer your question there two reason why you can't join them. One they are older than you, giving them more experience in flying and the second reason you're new here so you’ll be starting in the novice class to learn how to fly.” ending his sentence with a smile to the filly.

Rainbow Dash gave the stallion a glare for thinking she can not fly but the stallion still kept giving her a smile. The cyan filly really wants to buck the stallion smile off his face. However, she didn’t, instead she did in a more pacifist way, she showed off her flying skill, taking off to the sky at high speed trying loop de loop, but failed at the half turn causing her to crash to the clouds. The show off filly instantly stood up to shake off the clouds off from her body and giving a smirk to the stallion seeing a surprise face.

“I’m quite surprise you could fly at your age, also at a high speed, not even all our intermediate filly or colts reach your kind of speed yet.” returning back to his smile, “Okay, you proved yourself you could fly, however you do need to improve your wing control, so you'll enter the intermediate level class to build up your wing control that the best I could offer to you if your father agree.” looking up to Rainbow Dash father.

Rainbow Blaze looked at his filly asking her if it fine to join the intermediate skill. He expected an argument from the his brash filly to join the higher level, but amazingly received a low grumble “fine” from the disappointed filly, but happy she does not have to start in the beginner class.
The Rainbow stallion looked back at the black stallion to give his approval, “Well Mr.-” he stopped himself taking note he never got the stallion name.

The dark stallion caught on why the filly father stopped, “Oh yes, I forgot to introduce myself first, my name is Charcoal, one of the counselor of this camp.”

Blaze now knowing the stallion name appropriately look at Charcoal to give his approval, “Well Mr. Charcoal I allow my daughter to be raise a level.” He looked back down to his daughter with a serious look, “But I want you to keep your end of the bargain to make friend than just learn how to fly, okay?” Rainbow Dash knew why her father want her to have friend. He afraid she might be anti-social, the reason why Dash does not have friends because nopony is fast as her or cool, so why should she have friends when she should use her time to improve her flying shill, but still she want to reassure her father, “Fine, I’ll try to find a few friends.” grumbled again the little filly.

The two Rainbow pegasus gave their quick hugs, goodbyes, and finally going their separate ways. After separating, Rainbow Dash followed the councilor from behind to enter the summer Flight Camp gates. Entering the camp Dash had a clearer view of the camp scenery. The whole camp is surrounded by clouds border just like almost everything is made out of clouds, there were few high diving boards, racetracks, and in the middle of the tracks is a huge watchtower surveying the camp probably making sure the fillies and colts are safe, and little clouds cabins. Rainbow Dash was mostly excited in trying the race tracks and diving board. The cyan filly thought were stopped when she bumped into Charcoal hind leg, however it seem the counselor didn't notice.

The counselor turned around to face the blue filly, "We finally made it to your class Rainbow Dash let me introduce you to Coach Swift." He pointed toward a light brown stallion with a black mane covered by a red and white cap.

Swift noticing Rainbow Dash, he spoke to her with with a low tone voice sounding like his throat was always sore, "So your the new student, Rainbow Dash." He looked at the councilor with a blank expression, "Okay, I'll take her I have one more room for her." With Coach Swift taking Dash the councilor left the new student with the rest of the student. When Charcoal left Swift looked back down to the filly, still keeping no emotional face, "Let skip the class introduction Rainbow and get straight to the point why you're here." Rainbow giving all ear to Swift, "There three reason; wing control, safe landings, and the most important increasing your speed. Understood?" Rainbow giving a nod he continued, "Good. You will also follow all my command. Is that understood?" Again the filly gave a nod, "Okay, you know why you're here and my rules. Now get your flank to the tracks and do the 400 meters track 12 times around now!" Swift ordered the cyan filly and without hesitation Rainbow gladly went to the track.

After two hours of high speed flying around the track through hoops and jump diving it was now break time. During practice, Rainbow has heard many fillies and colts complain Coach Swift is too demanding in pushing them to hard and harder if they slow down. But to Dash, she likes being told to go faster, she wants to be pushed to her limit to become faster. While Rainbow was drinking her water from a rain cloud, she saw a brown colt followed by another colt walking toward her.

"Hey your that filly who made those nasty crashes to the cloud rings." Chuckled the two colts, they saw the filly body clench getting ready to a fight making the colts stop laughing, "Wo-Wo, we won't lie that was funny, but we didn't come here to make fun of you. We actually came to admire your speed." Saying the orange colt.

"Really?" The shocked cyan filly easing her body, surprised she received admiration from the top two colts in whole class on the first day.

The two colts nodded, “Really. You might have crashed but you got up and still got speed. Not many pegasi can do that, you're definitely cool enough to hang out with us, so you want in?” giving a smirk to the filly.

Ohmygosh yea!” the enthusiastic filly yelled excitedly, able to join the fastest and coolest colts on the first day, and also making friends completing her dad deal.

“Cool, let me introduce you to my buddy Dumbbell.” Pointing a hoof to his left to an brown colt with light grayish mane, “And I’m Hoops.” Pointing to himself proudly.

“I’m the one and only Rainbow Dash.” the cyan filly proudly pointing to herself.

“Now that we got over the introduction, let have some fun.” Dumbbell Turning his smirk turning into a smug.

“Okay, let get flying.” Before Rainbow could fly off, her tail was stomp by Dub bell, “Hey, why are stepping on my tail?

Hoops still holding Rainbow tail, “He didn’t mean that kind of fun. I meant watching a pegasus trying to fly.”

Rainbow was confused by their way of fun, ‘how is is watching another trying to fly fun’, “How is watching a pegasus trying fly fun?” she question her thought out loud.

She only received was, “Just follow us it really funny.” with that Dumb Bell and Hoops took off flying.

Rainbow was quite annoyed they were not going to have a race or any kind of flying activity, but she realised they were still on their break. So the cyan filly followed, she was curious what the colts find so funny.

The three pegasus landed on top of a cloud a few feets above Coach Swift teaching are. Rainbow not understanding why they were only lying on a cloud and was losing her patience. She stood up on her four hooves to speak up, though Dumb Bell was the first to speak.

“Rainbow have you ever heard of a pegasus’ that can’t fly?" The question got Dash off guard, the whole question made no sense ‘a pegasus that can’t fly.’ that was unheard of or seen to the cyan filly until today when Dumbbell snickered while pointing to the bottom of the cloud.
Rainbow Dash could not believe what she saw, below the cloud stand a yellow filly nervously looking at the bottom of the a high diving board to help pegasi get the momentum to fly. Right next to the nervous filly was Coach Swift, at first Rainbow was jealous at the yellow filly getting extra flying time, until she saw what happen after Swift pushed the yellow filly off the cloud board. It was the worst flying attempt Dash have ever seen, her wings were not synchronized, she shaked all four hooves wildy, while screaming but barely audible to the cyan ear, and in the end the filly landed with a ‘pomph’ on her stomach in the cloud. The observing filly could not help but laugh at such futile flying attempt with the other two colts.

After few minute laughing and everypony composing themself, Dumb Bell spoke, “That never get old, if you thought that funny watch what happen next.” And the cyan filly waited interested what could be funnier than what she had just seen. And what she saw next was hilarious.
When the yellow filly recovered from the fall Coach Swift moved the filly the race track. She heard Swift ordered the filly to start going around the track. The yellow filly obediently listen to the Coach, she starts to flap her wing at fast pace, still not synchronize causing it to be a feeble attempt. She could barely stay in the air for a few second for enough time to go through the first ring which was only inches higher than her head. After passing the first ring, it clearly shows the filly was fatigued from rapidly flapping her wings causing her to again landing on her stomach. But that not what made Rainbow laugh, it was the yellow filly face; The filly pink mane look like it just got the worst hair braid with every mane was tangle to clouds, clouds were even on her eyes, and the final touch was her tongue were sticking out making it one of the funniest faces Rainbow have ever seen and will be burn into her mind. It was too much for the two colts and filly burst so hard they landed on their back kicking their hooves up high to try to take off some pressure in their stomach from all the laughing.

Again a few more minute of laughing of having to hold their stomach, feeling it might explode from the pressure building inside. After the last few giggles escape from Rainbow Dash, She lown again from her cloud to see the yellow filly trying to hide behind her forelock from Coach Swift barking at her something about her pathetic flight attempt. When the Coach left, Dumbbell told Rainbow Dah to follow him, she was curious about meeting the silly filly.

The two colts and the filly both landed next to the yellow filly, startling her. Again Dumb Bell was the first to speak, “Hello Klutzershy.” Rainbow didn’t really believe that was her real name, but did make sense why they called her ‘Klutzershy.’, she was clumsy while flying. “That was another failed attempt like always Klutz, but it did give us a good laugh like always and a good show to our new friend, right Rainbow Dash?” question Dumbbell trying to hold a snicker.

Rainbow Dash was about to say “yea” without hesitation, until she saw the yellow filly eyes giving a pleading look to her causing her throat going dry. Seeing the yellow filly teal eye close to tears made the cyan pegasus feel something uncomfortable in her chest forcing her mind to change into “No” something about mocking the yellow filly felt wrong. But was change back when she was Dumb Bell with an expression of restlessness. Not wanting to lose her cool friends she pushed back the feeling and cleared her throat to say, “Yea, it was funny seeing her fall.” Seeing the yellow filly eyes in brink of crying, made Rainbow chest ache more uncomfortable, she had to bite her lips to say the opposite of what she just said, and a lot of mental strength to not start apologizing to the yellow filly for making fun of her, however what Dumb Bell and Hoops did next made it a lot harder.

The two colts made their way to the cowering filly and did the unthinkable, Hoops grabbed the filly to flipped her to his back, and Dumbbell forcibly grabbed the yellow filly left wing causing the filly to squeak in fear.

Rainbow was shock what the two colts were doing, every pegasus knew how important and delicate the wings must be cared including most importantly the feathers. How Dumbbell was holding the filly without care, Rainbow did not know what to think about the colts.
Dumbbell notice Rainbow confusion, he explain to her, "Come here and grab her right wing. Were going to teach Klutzershy how to fly." Both colts giggled devilishly.

Dash looked away from the two colts to look at the yellow filly. The defenseless filly teal eyes and yellow cheek was filled with tears, building a crack inside the filly body. It made her feel like she needed to protect the filly, "I don't know guys, look at her it look like it hurting her."
Dumbbell looked at his new friend giving her a smirk, "Of course it hurting like they said, 'No pain no game' so were actually "helping" her. So, hurry up and help us." Again giving an impatient expression.

The rainbow mane pegasus first gave a thought before acting, 'We are hurting her I know that but he has a point "No pain no game" and the filly does need a lot of help to improve her flying technique.' Looking left and right to Dumbbell and the filly, she gave another thought, 'And if I say no I'll lose two cool and fast friend and might become friend with a slow and weak filly.' Because of Rainbow wanting a cool reputation she choose. She walked toward the crying filly and hesitated in grabbing the yellow wing by her two fore hooves, when she grabbed it, she made sure to grabbed it lightly.

"Alright Klutzershy, let start with flapping your wings." Seeing Dumbbell flapping her wings, Rainbow started to flap her right wing delicately but still still synchronize to Dumbbell flaps. Dumbbell noticing Rainbow moving the wings lightly he called out to her, "Not like that, like this." He started to put more force into the filly wings rapidly moving it up and down.

Rainbow was about to move the filly wing a little faster, but stopped in her track after hearing a low hurtful voice thinking it came from the filly, not hearing anything else a few moment later believing it was just her imagination, she returned fapping the creme filly wing. But stopped again hearing the hurt voice repeat coming from the hurt filly, "P-p-please...S-stop." The cyan filly immediately stopped flapping after hearing the abused filly plead. She was about to apologise to the filly for hurting her but could not when somepony spoke up first.

Who she saw coming toward them made her froze on the spot, it was Charcoal and not with his usual smile but with an glare that could burn through diamond. Rainbow quickly removed her hooves from the filly wings, Dumbbell doing the same, followed by Hoops dropping the filly off his back. When the counselor arrived, the first thing he was inspect the surrounding, so did Rainbow adding more cracks to the already cracked feeling Rainbow was feeling. She saw many yellow feather laid down on the cloud feather causing the yellow filly missing a few feathers and raffling her feather that still stood on her wings but luckily the primary feathers were not affected. However, the worst sight for the cyan filly was seeing the yellow filly crying her eyes off, it took all strength to not start apologizing and hug the abused filly.

Rainbow inspection was cut off when she heard a low growl coming from the counselor before speaking speaking softly to the crying filly telling her to go check her wings at the nurse office. When the creme filly walked slowly away toward the nurse office and out of hearing range. Charcoal release his rage toward the the two colts and filly.

"How dare you hurt that nice filly!" His voice boom loudly making Rainbow ear ring. "I expected much from you two, hearing rumors you bullied Fluttershy, but I didn't expected this bad." Glaring at the two colts, now glaring at the cyan filly.

After Rainbow heard the councilor said the name "Fluttershy " she thought that was the yellow filly name but didn't have time time to think about it, since Charcoal continue talking.

"Neither did I expect you Rainbow Dash to be a bully, I expected great things from you, but I guess wrong." The councilor said in a disappointed tone. "Follow me to my office." With that said the four pegasus flew off to Charcoal office.

A frighten cyan filly waited outside terrified of what punishment she will get once she step inside Charcoal office.

What made the situation worse it was her first day. ‘How will my dad react?’ The thought made the filly heart pound faster to her chest. The thought of her dad angry and disappointed of her made her feel more guilty bullying the yellow filly. ‘Bully ‘ the word struck the filly mind hard, ‘I bullied that yellow filly. ‘ remembering what she did to the abused filly made her chest ache uncomfortably from sadness. The feeling and self pity were pushed away when she saw Hoops and Dumbbell coming outside the office, followed by Charcoal.

Charcoal seeing the two colts leave the building he turn his his head to the cyan filly with the same disappointed expression, "Come in Rainbow Dash." Said with a low tone.
Rainbow listened to councilor, entering the office the cyan filly took note inside the room it did not contain contain too many things, only two large cabinet in the left and right corner of the room behind Charcoal desk, bothe furniture of course made out of cloud. Dash seeing the seats in front in front of the desk, she took her seat and Charcoal taking a seat on the opposite side of the desk.
After a few minutes passed the uncomfortable filly tried to get comfortable but the nerve wrecking silent made it impossible. Luckily for Rainbow, Charcoal broke the silent, “Were going to start this conversation by me telling you what I saw and know and we'll continue from there, okay.” Not waiting for Rainbow answer, “What I saw is Hoops carrying a crying filly helping Dumbbell and you aggressively hurting the poor filly wings, probably injuring her. Is my inspection correct?” The cyan filly could only nod while le looking at the floor, “Why in Tartarus would you do that? This is your first day for crying out loud!” The councilor slightly raising his voice, “I did punish your two ‘friends’ by suspending them for a week, but for you, your expel from flight camp. I’m sorry but I can’t allow having more bullies in this camp.”

Rainbow was now sobbing in her hooves hearing she was expel in the one place she could get professional flying tips while the councilor continue, “Tomorrow morning you will lea-”
Before Charcoal could finish his sentence, she was cut off by somepony saying, “Wait!” barely audible to Rainbow Dash but enough to stop Charcoal talking. Who it was made her feel a lump in her throat.

It was the yellow filly looking really nervous but was now more nervous when Rainbow and Charcoal were looking at her. While the yellow filly open and close her mouth trying to speak, Rainbow could only stare and think why the filly is her. ‘Why is she here? Is she here to support Charcoal expelling me? Did she come here to tell me how much she hates me?’ Rainbow negative thought were stopped when the counselor spoke again.

“Fluttershy, I thought I told you to go at the Nurse office?” he said more of a statement than a question. Rainbow Dash hearing the councilor saying “Fluttershy” two times now came to conclusion the yellow filly name is Fluttershy.

Fluttershy took a few seconds to close her eyes and take big inhales before speaking, “I d-did go to the n-nurse. She said I’ll be fine just a few loose feather.” Still barely audible to Rainbow ears.
After yellow filly finish speaking, Charcoal spoke again, “Ok, that good to hear, but why are you here? You should be resting. I saw how hard today was for you.” While glaring at the cyan filly, making her look at her hoof.

Fluttershy repeated her inhale to answer Charcoal question, “Because I over heard your going to expel her. I’m really sorry for overhearing.” The shy filly looking at the floor while pointing to the cyan filly.

“Yes, it true Rainbow Dash will be expelled and leave tomorrow morning. Now you will be safe and happy this bully will be gone.” Rainbow felt her whole body to shake and her eyes stringed warning her she in the verge of tears. But was stopped of what Fluttershy said next.

“But I won’t be happy if you expel her because of...Me. Can you p-please give her a-another chance.” Rainbow remained motionless when Fluttershy said “another chance.” Here was the yellow filly who she laughed at and bullied who has all rights to hate her for what she did, instead she begging for the cyan filly to stay. Rainbow could only think of one thing of one word, “Why?” And she not the only one.

“Why?” the counselor could only say recovering from his shock of Fluttershy plead.
Fluttershy would only continue to plead, “Please Mr. Charcoal give her another chance.” she would continue without giving any reason and in the end her pleading was accepted.

After minutes passed Charcoal gave in, “Okay Fluttershy since it seems you forgave Rainbow Dash I’ll give her another chance and only chance. Understand Rainbow Dash, last chance.” Rainbow could not move an inch of her body, shocked that she won’t leave flight camp. But inside her mind she was ecstatic, she wanted to fly up higher than any pegasus and come down to give Fluttershy the biggest hug she could ever muster. However, she did not because Charcoal continue talking, “Do you know which room you're going and sharing with?” The cyan filly shook her head a "no". Charcoal went to a cabin to receive a paper from a folder and started reading out loud from it, “Your room will be at Row C6 and will be sharing it with...Fluttershy.”

Rainbow Dash at that moment felt her cheek and chest start to warm up knowing she will be staying the same room with her savior, saving her from being expelled. She loved the feeling and the thought of being roommate with the yellow filly.

But the warm feeling were stop too early for her when she was starting to enjoy it. “Fluttershy, do you want to share room with Rainbow Dash?” Charcoal asked the yellow filly, her face filled with uncertainty and Rainbow mind hoping Fluttershy will accept her being a roommate.
Finally Fluttershy came up with an answer, “That f-fine.” making Rainbow letting go of the air she didn’t know she was holding. Forcing her gasp for air.

“Okay, since it almost dinner, can you show the cafeteria room first to Rainbow Dash and then your rooms?” The counselor asked at Fluttershy who only nodded. Before Rainbow and Fluttershy could leave the office, “And Rainbow if I here Fluttershy or any student say your bullying. You are leaving.” When Charcoal finished both filly left the office.

Inside the Cafeteria both Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash sat down in the end of the edge at the cafeteria, yellow to the left, blue to the right, the pair silently eating a simple strawberry spinach salad, applesauce, and with milk.

For the first time Rainbow could remember, she actually enjoyed eating at a slow pace and in silent. And there is only one reason for her action, it because of the filly next to her, Fluttershy.

After the fiasco, Rainbow could think properly about Fluttershy. Now knowing the filly name, “Fluttershy” just thinking about her name the warm filling to the cyan filly chest. The bold filly wanting to know more of the filly appearance next to her, she move her head slightly to the left, enough to see the filly next to her. Her chest only became warmer and her heart started beating harder.

Rainbow notice Fluttershy was taller than making her move her head rise a little to look at the yellow filly teal eyes making her completely lost in the filly eyes. She was so lost to the teal eyes she didn’t notice Fluttershy was now staring at her until the yellow filly gave a little squeak. Making the trance filly realise she was caught staring, she moved her head to the other side to hide her scarlet red blush. Rainbow was about to apologize for staring but Fluttershy beat her to it.

“Um, Rainbow Dash is there something on my face." Fluttershy already moving her hoof all over her face not waiting for an response.

Rainbow recovered from her embarrassment returning to his cool expression before speaking, “No, there nothing on your face I just saw something...Interesting.” Saying the last word only audible to Rainbow ear.

When the pair finished with dinner, Fluttershy lead Rainbow Dash to their room. Surprisingly the fast pace filly didn’t want to fly, but walk closely behind the leading filly. She began to wonder how old the yellow filly is, “Hey Fluttershy may I ask you a question?” The usually brash pegasus would never be polite to any pony, ‘I might as well be polite to her for being so mean.’ Rainbow took the silent to continue, “I was just wondering how old are you?”

There was weird silent for the cyan filly until Fluttershy spoke up. “I-I’m e-eight.” stuttered the pink mane filly.
‘She only a few months older than me.’ thought the Rainbow.

Both fillies stayed quiet during the whole time walking toward their room. It did not take long for both pegasus to get their destination. Inside the room it was not large. but enough to fit two separate mini cloud bed, two cabinet, and one bathroom clearly showing the room was made for only two pegasus to fit inside. Since Fluttershy been at Flight camp longer she already took the left side of the bed, having Rainbow take the right side of the room.

Rainbow scanned the room taking note Fluttershy did not bring too many item with her only a few books, a light lamp, and a tooth brush. Just like her Rainbow either bring to much, just a wonderbolt poster and a tooth brush. After she setted up her poster at the top wall, for she could see it each time she wakes up. The cyan filly flew toward the bathroom to take a bath, brush her teeth, getting ready to sleep. Flying out of the bathroom and landing on her bed with a ‘pomph’. Wanting to say goodnight to her roommate she turn her head to the left about to say good night but her throat repeatedly became instantly dry from watching the stunning yellow filly lying down on her bed.

Instead of only seeing Fluttershy teal eyes she saw her whole fascinating body. Rainbow first saw the lying filly majestic wings that shine bright the illuminating moon lights, her smooth looking soft pink mane that can be softer than cloud to Rainbow touch, and once once again getting so lost inspecting Fluttershy body she did not notice her turn her head facing the cyan filly. The yellow filly broke Rainbow trance by giving a small “eep!” turning her head away from the inspecting pony.Rainbow did the same action as her roommate, trying to hide her burning face and bombarding herself why she was looking at her roommate for so long, ‘Why was I thinking of her like that? Why do I care if her mane look like? And did I call her wing majestic? My wings are way better than hers.’ Rainbow tried to assure herself she did not care about her roommate appearance, but as she continued thinking, ‘I’m stronger she weak, I’m faster she slow, I’m cool she...Cooler.’

She remembered how Fluttershy stood up for her to the conciliar and how she continued to plead for the cyan filly to stay, but should have been angry at her and supporting Charcoal decision of expelling her, instead the yellow filly was trying to change his mind to give Dash one more chance to stay in camp. Staying up few more hours just watching the creme filly sleep, before Rainbow close her eyes for the last time this nights she said, “Thank you.” in a soft tone to not disturb the taller filly sleep.

For the past whole week, Rainbow Dash could only think about Fluttershy. In her mind it was always about Fluttershy, during breakfast, lunch, dinner, rest break, and even during flying activity, the yellow filly is so deep in her mind it caused her to crash more than she used to. Each morning she would secretly watch her roommate wake instead of her Wonderbolt poster, see her desperately trying to fly, and each time she fall every colts and fillies would laugh at her. Rainbow would bite her teeth trying to control herself from punching and bucking every one of them for laughing at Fluttershy. Each time the tall filly failed Dash wanted to tell her to try again, but she did not haveing to, the yellow filly would try again without anyone telling her, making her look cooler to Rainbow Dash eyes.

During breakfast, lunch, dinner she watched the tall filly eat alone. While Rainbow sit across the room with the others colts and fillies thinking they will be cool or gain respect if they sit next to her, and Dash would gain admiration from the other pegasus because of her flying skill. However, Rainbow does not want their admiration, she wanted Fluttershy respect and to sit with the real cool filly, Fluttershy.

In the night, before Rainbow Dash goes to sleep, she would watch her roommate sleep, admiring her, and question herself why she keep spying on her roommate and keep having alain feeling next to the timid filly until she sleep.

Just like every time for the past whole week, during Rainbow breaks she would fly up to a cloud to look down at the struggling yellow filly. The spectrum mane filly would mutter, “You could do it.” Wanting to encourage Fluttershy when she struggling to fly. But when she hear Coach Swift yell at the shy pegasus how she a failure, she wanted to buck the stallion and to tell the struggling filly, “You just need more practice.” However the cyan filly could not she was just too afraid if Fluttershy would question her why she was spying was saying, Rainbow did not even know herself why she continue to spy on the bubble gum mane filly.

As she continued to watch Fluttershy practice, she heard somepony called out her name. When she turn her head to the pony who called her, she had to bite her tongue to not scream at the two colt who almost got her expelled.

“Hey Rainbow Dash, long time no see,” he land next to her before continuing. “It also look like you are watching the world most hilarious and stupidest Klutzershy.” Said the giggling Dumbbell. At that moment Dash wanted to scream at them, 'Her name is FLUTTERSHY!' but Dumbbell said something that stopped her and burned her body with with pure anger, “Oh I love this part… ha ha ha.” Dumbbell started laughing hysterically with Hoops, when Fluttershy fell into the cloud from the high dive. No Rainbow body did not contain anger it contain hate.

“STOP LAUGHING AT HER!!!” Rainbow had enough of pony laughing at Fluttershy, but more to the two colts. Her yell was so loud it hastily made the two colts stop laughing and back away with surprise expression on their faces.

“Relax Rainbow were only having a little fun. It not our fault she a sorry excuse of a pegasus and not cool as us right Hoops.” If anyone was able to see Rainbow eyes they would have clearly see her eyes turn from magenta to bright red. Her hat only grew toward the two colts.

“She is not sorry excuse of a pegasus!” Growled the angry cyan filly. “And she way cooler than you guys. You guys will never be cool as her... Neither will I.” Rainbow told the last three words silently to herself but it did not went unnoticed to Dumbbell.

“If you think she so cool why don’t you become friend with that weirdo.” the hateful filly wanted to tell Dumbbell to not call Fluttershy a “weirdo” but could not because when he suggested of becoming friends with the yellow filly her hate left to change again to another emotion, but more positive, it turn into perky.

So many things became so clear to the rainbow mane filly mind; the spying, wanting to encourage the timid filly, and to protect her, Rainbow wants to become friend with Fluttershy. The thought of becoming friend with Fluttershy brought her heart with giddiness. ‘Being a friend with her would be so awesome.’ Rainbow was brought back to reality when Dumbbell shouted out, “Bie Rainbow Crash!” Trying to scoff her while flying away but she did not care she was too happy with the thought of being friend with Fluttershy.
