It was bright early morning, two pegasus converse with each other, well really only one pegasus was actually doing the talking and the other was in a trance, inside the Cloudsdale High school hallways before separating to go in their morning classroom.

‘Damn look at those eyes. It fit perfectly for her attitude and for her sexy bo-' before Rainbow could think further, Fluttershy tapped her shoulder.

“Um Rainbow are you okay? You seem...Lost.” Rainbow quickly try to think of a way to respond to her friend.

“Oh, y-yeal I’m okay. Just thinking about...The pegasus history.” answered the lying cyan filly, hiding her real thought. ‘Why do I keep thinking about Fluttershy like that, she my best friend.’ Rainbow did not understand why she keep losing herself to Fluttershy appearance.

“Okay, when you were thinking about history,” Fluttershy not sounding like she believes her. “I ask if you wanted to come over at my parent house to see a movie after you practice...If you want to?” Fluttershy ask the last sentence in an adorable way. ‘Wait, adorable stop thinking like that!’

“Sure, what kind of movie is it?” Rainbow liking the plan of watching a movie with Fluttershy after practice.

“A romance Movie.” The timid filly squeak out losing all the confidence she had.

“I didn’t catch that Fluttershy.” the cyan filly not able to hear her friend.

“A romance movie.” she mumble the work louder but the word were still unclear.

“Come on Fluttershy,” Rainbow sometimes does get a little annoyed by Fluttershy shyness, however it still does not bother her to much, it actually increase her adorableness level. “Our class going to start at any minute now.”

“A romance movie.” Right then, Rainbow lost all interest in watching a movie with Fluttershy. She likes hanging out with her it just, she does not like mushy stuff, it not cool.

“Sorry Flutters you know I don’t like sappy movies.”

“Please Dashie, just give it a try just this once...We could also cuddle if you want. My parent aren’t home.” Rainbow began to blush of the word ‘cuddle’ she will not lie to herself she loves their secret cuddle session for some mystical reason, but does not say anything her cuddle buddy. Also, seeing her best friend using that adorable pleading teal eyes and cute pleading voice it just make her heart hammer at her chest, knees shake uncontrollably, stomach having that nice warm feeling in her chest, wings unfurling itself, she just could not say no. So she surrendered.

“Fine, sheesh. Just drop that face.” ‘That beautiful and adorable face.’ the already blushing cyan filly face began to burn from blushing too much. ‘Stop thinking like that Rainbow!’ she yelled angrily at herself.

Fluttershy was asking Rainbow why she was so red, but luckily for the blushing Rainbow the school bell rang. The cyan filly quickly said her bye to her best friend and left to her History class to hide her scarlet red blush.

During the whole hour of History class Rainbow was tortured with the alien feeling she kept having near Fluttershy. Her torture does not end in history, her agony continue through math, science, and equestrian language; classes that do not matter to the brash pegasus. All she needed to know was how to fly, and to one day become a Wonderbolt. But even with the thought of joining the Wonderbolt the weird feeling she keep having toward her best friend does not stop. It does not make sense to her, her logic being friend with with the timid filly would stop her attraction toward her instead it only grew. Not only did Fluttershy frame attraction grew, but she also became more interested in the shy filly personality, her shyness, the need to be protected, her adorable voice, and the way she squeak when she becomes frighten or shock. Rainbow began to realise what she was thinking and began to flush so hard and her wings fully unfurled it was no wonder pony around her ask, “Are you sick or something?”

At lunch break, seeing Fluttershy did not help her fierce flush from returning remembering her thoughts and weird feeling toward Fluttershy. Luckily before meeting Fluttershy she was able to cool down before meeting her best friend.

During lunch the two best friend ate at the back of the cafeteria discussing their science project, their only class they have together. However just like the beginning of the day Fluttershy was doing most of the talking and planning, and while rainbow was lost in thought ‘Hmm, I can’t wait to cuddle with Fluttershy tonight, it been a while I felt her soft and warm coat.’ Rainbow again was deep in thought, she did not realise her friend was trying to get her attention.

“Rainbow are you listening...I’m sorry for being pushy.” Fluttershy mumbled the last word before continuing, “But it just we need to come up with an idea for our project and you need to get a good grade on this project to rise your failing grade. You barely pass last semester.” She said worriedly, afraid for her friend from failing.

Rainbow shaking her head to get her mind together, ”Um, sorry Flutters’ I got nothing.” Not really thinking about the project but only on tonight cuddle.

“Well that okay, because I have an idea...If you want to hear it?” again the quiet filly mumbled the last words.

“Sure, let me hear it.” Still not carrying about the project.

“I will be doing the paper essay explaining how pegasi mood effect controlling clouds. Since I’m not a strong flyer or could control weather as well as you. You will be performing how mood effect the control of clouds.” Fluttershy explain her plan to her friends.

“I could do that. Alright you explain and I perform.” hearing the bell ring she said her bye, “See you after practice ‘Shy.” hearing her friend say the same thing, she left

After Rainbow saying her bye to her friend she went to her last class of art a very slow class to the fast pegasus but still it was more active than any other class she had of just sitting down. When art class finish she went to straight to her most favorite activity after school during Fall, Hoofball (think of it like Tackle Football). Later getting her gear on and leaving the locker room, and like always in the breacher sit her best friend Fluttershy to encourage her on, bringing a smile to Rainbow face.

Today practice was mostly about building stamina and muscle building nothing Rainbow could handle. It not reason she is the star captain for the varsity team, no easy feat for a Freshmen to do. Finishing practice, the cyan mare went t to take a quick shower in the locker room, done taking a shower she went outside to be met by her encouraging friend even though her cheering could use some work. They took off from their school heading toward Fluttershy house, which did not take long even with Fluttershy slower flying pace, Rainbow did not mind, she could use a change of pace after a harsh practice.

Before landing in front of Fluttershy family cloud home, she explain to Rainbow today was Fluttershy parent wedding anniversary and were going to be away for a whole week. So they would be completely alone in Fluttershy home and be able to secretly cuddle.

Entering Fluttershy home it was not much different from a family home; family photo, few furniture, bedrooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom just a normal family home. Fluttershy went to her kitchen to get a bowl of popcorn, while the other pegasus waited patiently for her snuggle buddy in the living room in front of the T.V. When Fluttershy brought out the popcorn, he then went to her movie cabinet to take out a movie out called “Reveal” the romance movie. Making rainbow let out a big groan, but forgot about the romance movie when she felt Fluttershy press against her feeling her warm fur against her.

During the movie Rainbow looked hungrily at the tempted flickering ear in front of her. She wanted Fluttershy to go to sleep for she could start nibbling her timid friend ear. She did not know why but nibbling her friend ear felt just so right but never told Fluttershy afraid she would sound too sappy. She was about to give in to nibble her friend ear when she heard something catching her attention. When she paid attention to the movie , it was in the part when the mare was reading out loud her secret letter containing her feeling toward the Stallion she in loved with, the same feeling Rainbow has toward Fluttershy.

Dear Smooth Breeze,

Oh, how I wish to tell you the word you are about to read in front of you. But, I can not. I am to afraid you not return the love I have toward you. I had tried once to express my feeling to you, however when I tried it felt like a unicorn cursed my mouth from speaking my love to you. Making me look like a fool in front of your beautiful eyes those shining citron eyes of yours. I always lose my thought whenever I see your citron eyes or think about them. Or your smooth navy coat that makes my wings rise to it fullest and still continue to extend till it hurts like it will rip apart.

But your appearance is nothing compare to you charming nature, the way you express your passion to the sky, how I would love you to express your love to me just like to sky maybe even more. And how you care for others when they are in troubling situation, the way you clung into them and whisper to their ear to comfort them. I know I will sound selfish saying this, but I wish you would only hold me just the way you hold the other in need. You hold me at time but it was as a friend. It saddened you hold me a friend, I ambition you would hold me as a lover.

The movie continued but Rainbow could not listen to the movie, she was too dumbfounded of what she just heard from the mare in the movie. ‘I love...F-Fluttershy. I love Fluttershy.’ Rainbow had now realise her stuttering, wing stiffening, the blushing, and lost in thought when ever she thought or see Fluttershy all meant she love her best friend, however because of her ‘cool’ personality of thinking she too awesome for love and worst in love with another filly, she denied it. ‘No! I do not love Fluttershy! She my best friend and and a girl, I am no fillyfooler! I am 100 percent straight!'

Rainbow was becoming frantic, shivering from the raging battle in her mind to deny her love. It became too much for the cyan filly and needed to get out. She quickly got up, leaving the warmth of her friend and getting ready to fly out the house. “Sorry Flutters’, but I forgot...Something to do at my house.” She said while speeding out of Fluttershy home, not waiting to hear Fluttershy question her or say bye.

The denying filly home was hastily approaching to her, but she was too drawn of her shocking discovery, she did not notice her home was coming near her, causing her to crash into her room. The crashed filly recovered from her crash landing without a scratch, since her room is made out of clouds. However, the crash was the last thought in Rainbow mind. What really is in her mind is the war raging of trying to deny her love to her best friend.

‘There is no way I love Fluttershy. I just can’t.’ The whole night she tried to figure out a way to prove herself she is straight At midnight beyond her usual sleep time, she came up with an idea she believe will her love to Fluttershy is just platonic. But deep inside her mind it screamed her plan will only end with poor result.

The next morning Rainbow did not meet with Fluttershy in their usual meeting spot, instead she went to somepony else, more precise a colt.

“What up Thunderlane?”Rainbow now beginning her so called “master plan”.

“Not much Rainbow Dash, though I was not expecting seeing you here. I thought you would be with you friend Fluttershy.” The dark coat pegasus question her.

Rainbow whole mind became guilty for ditching her friend but she knew it was something that must be done. “We don’t need to see each other everyday and you don’t have to call me Rainbow Dash you could call me...Dashie.” She took a breath before saying her nickname that was given by her best friend.

Thunderlane pupil widen before speaking, “Um, okay...Dashie.” Rainbow flinch from hearing another pony saying her nickname, it sounded so wrong from hearing from another pony. ‘No it sound way cooler hearing it from Thunderlane.’ she thought before continuing her plan.

The cyan filly scratched her behind her head with an hoof while looking at everything else instead at thunderlane before asking her next question. “I needed to ask you something really important…” taking one long pause trying to clear her mind from it yelling to her to not ask the question, but she did. “I find you cool enough to hang out and we should got to know each other more.”

“A-are you asking me out for a d-date?” Rainbow would be laughing at Thunderlane face expression, but she was in a serious matter.

“Yea, so do you want to go out?” the rainbow mane pegasus struggling to continue talking to the colt, but she is determined to prove herself she does not love Fluttershy that way.

“It kinda funny it usually the guy who ask the girl out,” Rainbow glared at him stopping him from his giggling. “Sure I go out with you. How does watching a movie tomorrow night at seven sound to you?”

“That sound great.” Rainbow replied.

After both Thunderlane and Rainbow Dash agreed what place to meet, they gave their goodbyes and went their separate ways the school bell rang. The whole morning the denying filly has been trying to keep her thoughts away from Fluttershy, but she could not escape the yellow filly when it was time for their science class. They did not say nothing to each other, not even greeting each other. They just stood there looking away from each other in the uncomfortable silence.

“H-hello Rainbow, did something happened to you yesterday? I’m sorry for prying, it just I d-didn’t see you this morning and I got worried something happened to you yesterday.” The timid mare breaking the silence with her carrying voice.

Rainbow felt her heart becoming warm from hearing her friend worrying about her, ‘She cares for me...Stop that, my dad, cousin, aunts’, and uncles’ care for me. So why should she be different?’ again like last night her battle rage on fighting to deny her feeling toward Fluttershy. Her thoughts were interrupted when she felt a soft hoof touching her shoulder.

“Rainbow are you okay?” Seeing Fluttershy worried expression only added fuel to Rainbow raging mind.

“Yea, everything find...It just I...Kind of thinking about my date with Thunderlane?” Rainbow was confused why her friend first gave a frown about her news and then showing a bright smile.

“That...Wonderful Rainbow, I hope everything goes...Well.” Rainbow could hear the saddened voice behind her exciting voice, she was about to question her, but Fluttershy continue speaking, “Now let talk about the project due tomorrow.” Fluttershy changing the subject.

The whole science period Fluttershy explained the same planned to Rainbow, Fluttershy would do the essay which is now done, Rainbow just need to perform tomorrow how pegasi mood change the weather, completing their project. At the end of the period, it was lunch. The brash pegasus like always was being followed by her timid friend to the cafeteria, until Rainbow told her they will meet after school, that she wanted to hang out with Thunderlane during lunch to know him a little bit more before their date, and secretly stop the warm feeling her body keep having around her her best friend.

Seeing her yellow friend alone in the corner eating by herself made Rainbow feel like she was missing something. Also making her mind go berzerk, telling her to go sit down with Fluttershy. However, Dash resistance did not allow her, she kept put in her seat next to Thunderlane and to continue watching Fluttershy stare at her food with a sad face.

It was now Rainbow Dash favorite part of time, Hoofball practice. Where everything goes to her favor; her speed, agility, stamina, and focus was far greater than any other pony in the team, but today practice she was not. No, today she was the worst in the team,she had her speed and stamina, she just did not have the most important factor about sport, focus. Without her focus she messed up in every play, crashing into cloud pillars, and she knew exactly why she lost her focus. Because of her usual cheering friend, Fluttershy.

Each time Fluttershy say her adorable quiet, “Yay” before a play, it caused Rainbow heart to flutter. When she encourages her on, “You could do it Rainbow.” while flapping her beautiful wing each time after each play, it add more butterflies to the cyan filly stomach. It made Rainbow feel special, she has her own cheering pony when no one else has their own to cheer them on. But Rainbow did not want to feel special toward her best friend and had enough of these feeling. After practice, she let go of these feeling in a very negative way.

Rainbow sat on her hind leg in the middle of the field shaking wildly, not noticing Fluttershy landed right next to her, “Rainbow it okay. Everypony has their ba-” Fluttershy was cut off by a ferocious screaming mare she never expected to yell at her.

“FLUTTERSHY!!!” Rainbow scream at the top of her lung, letting go all her confusion, anger, and trying to escape those warm feeling in her stomach.

“Dashie, what wro-” Again Rainbow yelled at her cutting her off.

“Don’t you dare buckin call me Dashie again!” Rainbow for the first time in her life cursed and stared down at her friend. “And what wrong? What wrong? Your wrong, everything about you is wrong!”

“What d-do you m-m-mean?” Fluttershy began to whimper.

“What do you buckin think you bird brain? Your weak flyer, clumsy,...A-a-a klutz.” She now watch Fluttershy, her friend who always support her no matter what lay down in the cloud crying her eye out. Her mind now bang in her skull to stop, but she pushes forward. “Your pink mane, pink tail, yellow coat, blue eyes are all...U-ugly!” She had to force the last word to come out. Every fiber in her body shakes uncontrollably to make her stop talking but she would not let it. “And what worst is you, you’re to kind making you weak and shy letting other push you around, making me protect you all the time. I had enough of it!” In reality she loves protecting her friend, it made her feel special but she does not want to feel special toward her best friend. So she end it. “I don’t know why I became friend with the most pathetic pegasus like you. We’re done!” After she said everything she was able to say, she flew away leaving her ex-friend shaking like she was in a middle of a fully developed hurricane and crying as if death was going to take her life in second.

Rainbow crashed in front of her house, her eyes were covered and stinging from tears trying to escape, and while all her body hurts and not from from the crash. Her mind felt like it was explode from inside her head, her stomach felt like she just drank gallons of rainbow burning her, and leg felt so heavy to move. Luckily by memory muscle she was able to find the bathroom but in a very slow pace. Once she saw she was on top on the toilet she let it go.

After she finish pucking her stomach and throat felt burning hot. She went to the bathroom sink to rinse out the the puke off the edge of her mouth and few sip of water to cool down her stinging throat and stomach. After that, she went to the bathroom mirror to see how she look but when she got to the mirror she did not see her reflection but a forest. She was confused why the mirror was showing a forest instead of her. Until she notice two ponies in the mirror a large yellow filly and a smaller cyan filly. She realise it was a smaller her with a smaller Fluttershy talking to each other for the first time in the forest and is one of the happiest day of her life.

The mirror zoom closer to the two filly to hear better what the smaller cyan filly going to say, “That set the deal me and you are best of pals and for I won’t break that promise…” The forest and the smaller fillies started to fade until it showed the refection of the taller Rainbow Dash.

A striking realization came to Rainbow Dash, she had just broken the most important promise she had ever made in her life. She remembered everything she had just said to her best friend. The way she had yelled at her, calling her weak and useless, saying she does not want to be friend with her, and then how she called her klutz insulting her like the bullies at school. Right then and there she felt something shattered inside of her making hell break loose.

She unleash all her fury smashing the bathroom mirror cutting her hoof, but not caring about the pain, she destroyed all her cloud cabinet, shredding every Wonderbolt posters in her room, she bucked her cloud leaving her with no bed to sleep on, all while screaming, “I lost my best friend!” She wanted to destroy everything that she own to get rid of her anger and sadness that was deep in her broken heart. However there was no more materials to rip or buck in her own room. Seeing no more things to destroy, her mind start to wonder to dark thought. ‘I caused pain to Fluttershy, then I deserve more pain.’ before she could continue with her dark plan, her father entered.

“Dash what happened to your room?” She saw her father looking at her with concern expression and was looking at her bloody hoof. “ Dash you hoof is bleeding did somepony hurt you.” she could see her dad anger rising with an idea of someone hurting her.

“Fluttershy.” the cyan filly said unemotionally.

“What do you mean Fluttershy? D-did she do this to you?” Question Blaze with an unbelievable expression.

“I...I...I lost Fluttershy?! Rainbow yelled feeling tears dripping down her eyes before blacking out from her blood lost, banging migraine, and her broken heart.

In the middle of the night Rainbow Dash body shook wildly before screaming, “Fluttershy! No, I didn't mean it? I was ju-” She could not say anything else since her father was embracing her.

“Relax, relax, and take deep breath.” Blaze demanded her to do to stop her from hyperventilation. Rainbow Dash listened to her father to calmed down. After she relax her father start to question her, “Dash, you said you lost Fluttershy what do you mean?” he said in a silent voice.

Rainbow Dash took a few more breath before answering”I l-lost her. We aren’t friend no more.” She made it more clearer to her father.

“Okay why aren’t you friend?” Blaze continue to question her.

“I yelled at her, called her stupid, weak, ugly, and r-regretting I ever had a friendship with her. WHY DID I SAY THAT?! finally but to late her raging war ended, “I know why. Because I love her!” She yelled in frustration of herself. “I l-love h-her.” she said in a much quieter tone. She could not hold her tears any longer. Every tear rolling down her cheek felt like acid burning through her. “Dad I feel so empty and so much pain without her. I-I just want to die.”

Her father looked at her with utter shock. “Rainbow Dash don’t say thing like that. She only one friend and I totally respect you being a lesbimare and losing your friend is not worth killing yourself. there more filly out there.” He accepting her being who she is. But saying as if losing Fluttershy was nothing. It only angered her.

“Fluttershy is not just a friend, she my everything! Without her I wouldn’t be able to do the sonic Rainboom. She my only friend who doesn’t like me because of flying skill but like me of who I am. Now she’ll never know how much I really care for her.” More tears started to come out of her eyes.

“Well Dash if you love her so much why don’t you tell her and explain why you acted the way you did.” her father tried to reason with her.

“She won’t l-love me. Not after...The way I-I...Acted. Even if she...Did love me, I...I don’t deserve her.” Rainbow Dash continue to cry under her forehooves speaking after her sobbes.

“You don’t know that and you also know Fluttershy would be disappointed and hurt if you kill yourself or even attempted to suicide.” Rainbow did know Fluttershy would be hurt if she passed away and hurting her friend was the last thing she want to do again.

“You're right dad, suicide is out of my mine. I don’t want to hurt Fluttershy no more.”

“Good, but I will be staying near you when you arrive home for quite some time. You understand right?” her dad wanting to make sure Dash dark thought was completely out of her mind.

“Yes dad.” after that said, she close her eyes to let sleep consume her.

The next morning, sunlight reached Rainbow Dash eyes stirring her awake. When she open her eyes they were the opposite of alive, her eyes were dead, no emotion, and no tears. She felt her father grip around her in a protective way. It should have made her felt loved and protected but no it only brought one thought, ‘It feels better when Fluttershy holds me like this.’

The emotionless Rainbow weakly got up to her four hooves without waking up her father. She thought about washing herself before going to school, but she did not care, just like everything else in the world. The only thing that does matter to her is she lost her best and could have been more than friend. ‘Stop thinking like that she would never be with a bitch like me.’ However she just could not help but imagine what it might of been to have fluttershy as a filly friend. It brought a sad smile to her face.

During going to school, Rainbow did not feel like flying, so instead she walked slowly toward her school. If anyone was to see her at that moment they would have thought of her as a walking corpse. Her wings were slumped toward the floor, she limp every step she take, her head were hanging low just near inches away from the cloud floor, and to complete her body expression was her eyes, her lifestyles magenta eyes. Ponies could say she is depress.

Even though Rainbow amble toward school, she was able to make it to her class before the bell. Her first three period went rapidly through the depressed cyan filly mind probably because her mind was filled with Fluttershy. In the end of her third period she was so lost in thought she forgot her next period was science. For the first time since morning, her eyes brighten.

Their she was, Fluttershy. The filly she finally realise she been in love since the first time since she saw her. However she did not dare look at the yellow filly face to search for her expression. She is too afraid the sweet yellow mare face would contain hate toward her.

She feel tears starting to form around her eyes just thinking about Fluttershy would hate her. The cyan filly hid behind her forehooves crying silently when Fluttershy move to another desk away from her.

During the class, the science teacher collected the student essay project and were now outside at the back of school to perform their project. It did not take long for Rainbow and Fluttershy project performance to be called out. The depressed filly thought she would still have have to perform for their project, but she did not have to when she saw the kind filly flying toward the cloud. She plead inwardly to see the yellow mare expression to bring life into her life. But her plea meant nothing when the sky turned dark.

When Rainbow saw Fluttershy landing at the white cloud it instantly turned into a dark cloud. The cloud created high speed wind making it dangerous for flying pegasus to fly, the cloud started to flash out violent lightning, and thunder so loud it burst or crack windows in the cloud school. Student were galloping toward protective area or escaping to their protected home scared from the dangerous weather. Rainbow as well was scared but not from from the violent storm, but from who caused it.

Rainbow Dash knew what a violent thunderstorm cloud represent, it represented anger, depression, sadness, and hate, it was all too much for Rainbow. Seeing the cloud dark, she knew her ex-friend loath her. She drastically flew up to the nearest cloud to hide inside blocking the outside world. Once she enter the white cloud it also turned into dark grey cloud but it did not show lightning or thunder, however it did started to rain.

The crying filly laid inside the cloud for who know how long until she had no more tears to spare. She slowly poke her head out from the cloud noticing the violent storm has passed, and her Hoofball team were now coming out of the locker room for practice. Rainbow had no intention going to practice, but knew she was still the captain of the team, and captain had responsibilities to take care off. With all her strength she still contain, she flew down to the middle of the playing field.

Today practice for the captain filly was no better than yesterday practice if possible it was worst. Her concentration was always shattered when her mind expected to hear an encouraging words or the adorable “yay” coming from the bleachers, but heard since the bleachers were empty. Rainbow Dash wanted nothing else to see the yellow filly, but she knew it was not possible, she knew the reality of the situation of why Fluttershy was not in the bleacher encouraging her one. For goodness sake it was only one day ago when it all happen!

The usual confident and strong cyan filly was close again to breaking down not caring if it ruin her reputation. Fortunately the team left from practice to the locker room. After everyone left she began to cry again her body started ache just like yesterday. She started to hyperventilate and her heart felt like it would stop in any second and she would not mind if it would stop the pain. She greatly wanted the pain to vanish, and she only knew one filly could stop the merciless pain, but she knew that one filly would not arrive.

And the saddened merciful Angel arrived.

“Rainbow Dash.” All of the cyan pain and distress all faded to thin air hearing from just hearing the quiet timid voice. Removing her hooves, it revealed her swollen red eyes and still she did not dare herself to look into Fluttershy expression, afraid of seeing her ex-friend hatred looking down at her.

“Rainbow please look at me.” The yellow mare said in a quiet caring stern voice. It only frighten more the poor cyan filly. To her is sounded like her ex-friend yelled at her right next her ear. However, she did complied to her the timid filly demand. Slowly she moved her head up surely expecting to see hatred in the yellow face instead she saw caring smile.

‘Why is she smiling? She should hate me or be mad at me.’ the broken Rainbow question herself. “W-why a-aren’t you m-mad at me?” She question out loud.

“Rainbow, it sound like you don’t know me. I’m not mad. I could never be mad at anypony more especially you.” Fluttershy crouched down to be eye level with Rainbow, letting her blue eyes starring kindly to the pink orbs.

“Why? You should hate me, I-I hurt you emotionally, y-yelled at you, called you weak, called you s...stupid.” Rainbow feeling tears flowing down her cheeks remembering yesterday awful event.

“Do you mean what you said?” A hint of fear was detected in Fluttershy voice and the cyan filly did not wait a second to answer.

“No! I’m the stupid, weak, and terrible friend who ruined our friendship!” she yelled in frustration of herself for destroying something she held most dear. “F-Flutters’ c-can we be...be friend again?” She ask hopefully.

There was uncomfortable silence before Fluttershy spoke, “Rainbow like I said before, I’m not mad at you. I’m just bitter you broke our promise.” She held a hoof toward rainbow to stop her from saying anything, “It s-saddened...Me a lot what you said...Yesterday and I-I don’t feel comfortable being...Your f-friend now.” Both pegasus laying on the cloud started crying loudly by Fluttershy truthful and painful words.

“P-p-please...Fluttershy d-don’t...p-p-please don’t s-say that. I-I...I need you.” Rainbow begged Fluttershy between her sob.

“I-I’m sorry...Rainbow...Dash but o-one...One day we can r-rekindle our promise...J-just not n-now.” The yellow filly as well spoke between sob and flew away when she finish speaking.

Hours has passed, and Rainbow still laid in the same area and continue starring where Fluttershy used to lay. The cyan filly laid their broken. If morning she was not depressed now she was. The cyan filly laid there broken, no emotion, no pain, no thoughts, she was truly a living corpse.Without thinking her body automatically flew toward Thunderlane house. When she arrived of Thunderlane front door, she knock on the door barely putting any pressure barely making ‘thud thud’ sound. Not even louder than Fluttershy knocking. However, it was heard and was able to see the colt she has a date tonight.

“Oh, hey Rainbow Dash, I wasn’t expecting you in another-” the block colt stop speaking when his lips meet with Rainbow cyan lips. The kiss held not a pint of passion, it was as if a hoof touch a hoof, it held no meaning. Their kiss only lasted a few second and eagerly ended by both pony. “Um, Rainbow I’m going to suddenly decline our date. I’m sorry.” Thunderlane stepped inside his home and close the door slowly in front of Rainbow face, leaving her alone outside.

Rainbow walked toward her home under the dark night with one thought, ‘My heart only belong to Fluttershy.’

Rainbow broke away from her memory, felt the same emotional pain she went through the past remembering how she made her best friend cry. She gravely hold in her breath to not yell her pain, to not wake the sleeping mare. The hurting more crazily wanted to hug the yellow mare near her. She wanted to oh so much to hold Fluttershy between her hooves. To feel her soft fur against hers but she could not mush herself to wake the adorable near her. Instead she scooted closer to the mare near enough to have their fur touch each, which sent shiver through Rainbow spine. Also, she spread her cyan wings over the yellow mare back and that was enough for her pain to be forgotten having the mare she secretly love close to her. She tighten her wing hug around Fluttershy as if she was going to fly away like her memory, but Fluttershy never did fly away from her, instead Rainbow was the one who flew away from her past.

Author's Note

Oh my gosh was this chapter to freakin hard to write. There was that love letter to write which was not easy at all. To tell you all the truth i am no love expert. I had to bring one of my friend to actually write the letter. It took us six long ass hour to write it.
Then there was the Rainbow Dash out burst. Oh man was that hard. For that part I had to held a meeting. For real! We had to have debate if Rainbow should show softness or keep her hard as steel emotion. The majority 5 to 4. Small reason Rainbow Dash cares a lot for her best friend.

Okay for now serious matter this story is actually more than half done so YAY! Also I would like to thank for the comment more especially for NintendoGal55.
