You've been in Sugarcube Corner getting your favorite milk shake. You thanked Pinkie Pie for the two milk shakes that you bought and paid for them. Why did you get two? For your friend of course. A friend who's been really close to you ever since you came here. You sit down at the table and waited on her.
"Oh hi." You hear a voice call out.
"Hey Derpy." You said as you handed her her milkshake. "I got you a milk shake."
"Th-Thanks." She said blushing as she sits across from you. You know the she likes you, she's been trying to ask you on a date. But she does get nervous, and she would get interrupted by ponies all over and you would put your arm around her to make her feel that you're by her side.
As you and Derpy are sitting there just slurping on your milkshakes. You two just laughed a little at this and that.
"Thanks for inviting me here to talk to you." She said as she smiles as she's finally got a close friend by her side.
"Hey, anytime Derpy." You said smiling and taking a sip of your milkshake. This is some really good milkshake. "So how have you been?"
"I've been good, tanks for asking."
"You're welcome." You said as you stare into those crossed eyes of hers. You find that very cute. You love those crossed eyes so much that you just wished that it would last.
"So uh... you haven't found anypony to hang with... have you?"
"No. I haven't." You said smiling. You've been waiting on Derpy to ask you out on a date, you don't know why. But you think it's to try to teach her how to be tough or something.
"Well. I was wondering if you would... um..." She's so nervous. You find that really cute, she's also smiling too. You love that so...
Your thoughts were interrupted by young stallions laughing.
"Hey look! It's that cross-eyed freak again!"
"What the hell is she doing here? Shouldn't she be running away by now?"
"Oh look. It's that... human again! Are they going out?"
"I hope not! If they did i feel sorry for him. No affiance bro." One of the stallions said looking at you. You just glared at all of them in anger and they all walked away.
"They did not." You said as if you really want to beat them to a pulp. You notice that Derpy's in her hooves crying. "Hey Derpy, look at me." You said as you raised her head, making eye contact with you. "It'll be okay, just... don't pay any attention to them. Their just jackasses, that's all. And I promise..." You start to move positions from across from her to next to her, you put your arm around her. "I'll be right by your side."
"*sniff* Promise?"
"i promise."

The day goes on as you head back to your place, and Derpy heads back to the post office to go back to work. you can't help but feel bad for her as she just got made fun of at Sugarcube Corner.
"What am i gonna do?" You mumbled to yourself. "Everyone makes fun of her because of, her crossed eyes? It's just not right. That's how she was born or... or something." You really feel bad for her, but you know she's always more then happy to see you. She really likes you, you're starting to feel like you like her back, and you want to cheer her up.
You love those crossed eyes of hers, that bubbly cutie mark, her blond mane. It's all perfect for her. You made a deciding nod to yourself.
You're gonna take Derpy out on a date to cheer her up. You know she likes you. So that's what you're gonna do. You're gonna make Derpy the happiest pony she's ever been.
Mean While At the Post office.
Derpy has been doing her work ever since you and her left Sugarcube Corner. That sad look on her face tells it all. She's unhappy.
"Hey Derpy!" A stallion calls out to get her attention. He throws an object at her and hits her face. "Oops, did I do that?" He says as he gives his stallion friends high hooves and what not. Derpy just minds her own business getting back to doing what she was doing.
"You know Derpy. That human you're always with, you know he doesn't like you."
"Yes he does! He's my friend!"
"You know he lies Derpy!" One of the stallions giggle. She knows you never lie to her like that, she knows you too well. You can't lie to her on purpose.
"Shut up." Derpy said through clentched teeth and a quiet voice.
"He lies to you Derpy! He does this so you would get out of his life. You know he don't love you. He's just nothing but a little bitch who cares about nopony but himself."
Derpy's face turns into anger. Now her minds going into a morbid act. She remembers what you told her about ignoring them earlier at Sugarcube Corner. She turns around, and she charges right at him, knocking him off the floor and pinned him up against the wall, strangling him.
"YOU DON'T TALK ABOUT HIM LIKE THAT!! YOU HEAR ME?!?! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU IF I HA-" Her speech was interrupted by a aura humming around Derpy and lifting her, and making the stallion fall to the floor coughing like mad.
