Chapters “Twilight, what are you up to now?” Spike asked.
“I am trying to revolutionize the way we travel throughout Equestria.” she simply answered.
“By tampering with that mirror that sent us to that strange world?” Spike retorted sarcastically.
Twilight sighed and turned around to her clueless assistant. “Spike, do you know what the fastest way to travel is?”
“Isn't it by pegasus?”
“Yes, and on a trip to Canterlot, how long would it take two of the strongest and fastest pegasi to get there?”
“I dunno, maybe an hour and a half.”
“Well my little dragon, if I can reverse engineer the magic present in this mirror ponies would be able to travel all the way from here to Appleoosa in seconds.”
“So, you're trying to make a teleporter?”
“Actually more like a warp system, but think of the possibilities: Ponies can go anywhere in the blink of an eye, cargo can be transported easier and safer, and.”
“Alright Twilight I get it, but how does it work?”
“This mirror is enchanted with a spell that opens a portal to another universe so if I can cast a spell to change the coordinates it could lead anywhere you want. Now I'm going to need you to be quiet so I can focus.”
Her horn began to glow as it's purple aura consumed the mirror causing it to glow. A bright white pulsing light began to emerge from the mirror.
“Spike, I need you to get the secondary mirror over there.” she strained.
Spike ran as fast as he could over to the mirror nearly tripping on the way back.
“Be careful with that.” she groaned through clenched teeth.
“Sorry.” Spike set the mirror behind her.
Twilight began to turn around slowly, meticulously lowering the sphere to the secondary mirror, infusing it with the primary's magic.
“And that should do it.” she grunted. “Now it's time to see if it worked.”
“How are we going to do that?” Spike asked, looking up at the lavender alicorn.
“One of us is going to have to go through.” They glanced at each other and the mirror for few times before Twilight came to a decision. “I'll test it out, it is my experiment after all.”
“No I'll go.” Spike bravely announced.
“No Spike, I don't want you to get hurt.”
“I don't want you to get hurt either.”
Twilight prepared to protest, but she saw that he would do anything for her no matter how embarrassing or painful.
“You can test it out Spike.”
Spike smiled then saluted. “I won't let you down.”
“I know, now can you stand in front of the primary mirror please.”
Spike walked up to the mirror and stood patiently.
“Get ready Spike, test one of Trans Equestria Warp has begun.” she announced as she slammed her hoof on a button. There was a fizzle and cackle of electricity. Magical sparks began to fly off of the primary mirror while the secondary mirror began to glow and hum loudly. Suddenly there was silence followed by a loud boom. Spike and Twilight covered their eyes from the blinding light. Lowering her hoof Twilight saw that the two mirrors were active.
“Spike, go through now.” Spike lifted one short leg up while shielding his eyes. Just as soon as Spike was about to go through the secondary mirror began to hum a deathly loud low hum that slowly rose in pitch. The secondary mirror began to shake violently while the pitch still began to rise. Twilight lunged for Spike and surrounded them in a protective bubble moments before the second mirror collapsed then exploded, releasing the copied magic back into the primary.
Twilight and Spike sat under the shield cowering together. “Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, Spike I'm so sorry are you hurt?!” Twilight asked in panic.
“I'm okay.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes I'm sure, you put that bubble up at the right time.”
She sighed then turned to where the secondary mirror once stood. “Looks like this project is a bust.” she sighed.
“Twilight look, the other mirror is still on.” Twilight turned to the mirror with a curious look.
“Yeah you're right it is.”
Spike tried to go through, but it was blocked.
“Hey, what gives?”
“I don't know, but we need to clean this mess. I'll worry about that later.” She walked out of the room with Spike close behind.
Ch.1 Leaving All that You Know
I was walking up stairs from the basement. The bell had rung almost three minutes prior. Even though I am very punctua,l being late rarely ever bothered me. As I walked up the stairs I was thinking about all the stuff people had said to me today. My teachers call me the thinker, Einstein, somnambulant Morris. It's not like I mind being praised about my intellect, I just don't want to be that smart kid.
I snorted at how ridiculous that sounded.
“Hello bear.”
Just from the greeting I knew exactly who was walking with me.
“Hello Jessica, where were you all lunch hour?” I asked with a smirk.
“I had to go to orchestra to practice for ISSMA.”
My eyes went wide with worry. “Damn.” I whispered.
“What's wrong?” she asked sweetly.
I looked straight ahead “I haven't been practicing my solo at all.”
“It doesn't matter, you'll get a gold anyway.”
I chuckled a little. “How do you figure?”
“Because you're you.”
“That's a pretty vague reason.” I said blankly.
“You know what I mean, you're Reginald. You always find a way to pull it off.”
I smiled a little thinking “there goes that false praise again.” People always hold me in the highest regard. I never know why, I am human just like everyone else. I have to numerous a flaw to point out. Maybe it's modesty that ruins it for me.
We walked into our sixth period class. I looked around the room greeting my fellow classmates. It took some time before I noticed that the teacher wasn't present. I sat down in the middle of two of my most outrageous friends. They always know how to make a guy laugh, but I really wasn't in that much of a joking mood today.
“Hey Reggie, who you think is the sub today?” My old friend Jamal asked.
I looked on him with tired eyes. “To be honest I don't know and I couldn't give a care less.” As soon as those words left my lips an elderly heavyset women walked in.
“Alright everyone, settle down.” she panted. “Mrs. Rogers hasn't come back from lunch yet so I'm filling in on her behalf.”
Jamal tapped my arm and whispered “man she need to lay off them big macs boy.”
I chuckled and said back “the moment she lays off of the big macs is the moment that you grow a neck.” He smacked his lips and sat back in his seat.
“Man, got me messed up. That's why you look like Jordan from Bernie Mac.” he shot back.
“If I'm Jordan, you're the hamburglar.” I said with a laugh.
“Hey Reginald.” another one of my companions, Darian called. “Why does the substitute look that that slug lady from Monsters inc?” I buried my face in my hands in an attempt to hide my growing laughter. Darian always had a way to break my resolve whenever I try to stay professional. It Went on like that through class and on through the rest of the day.

The end of the day to most is praise worthy, but for me it means going home and starting the cycle all over again. “I do not like to sit in one place. I never stop, I'm always on the move. Even when I was a baby I had no boundaries. If I could go wherever I want when I wanted then maybe I wouldn't feel this way.” I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't realize I stood on the frigid shores of Lake Michigan. Looking over to Chicago, I began to smile again. It wasn't the big apple of New York City or the golden coasts of California, but it was still a sight to behold.
A snowflake landed on my nose making me sneeze. I craned my neck up and saw that a small flurry began to roll through. “There was supposed to be a storm later on tonight. I'll make it home before then.” I said to no one. About fifteen minutes later the wind began to pick up along with the snow. I still sat unmoving; while most would try to get out of the cold I find it to be embracing, but not even I could take a buzzard so I grabbed my bag. Then I heard a muffled boom. “Hmph, thundersnow.” I muttered as a visible dark aquatic blue lightning bolt struck over a nearby dune.
This lightning bolt didn't seem natural. All of my common knowledge and sense screamed at me, telling me to go home before I catched my death, but something else told me to go investigate.
I slowly trecked up the dune that the lightening struck behind, battling the whipping wind and snow. There was a steaming hole up ahead obscured by the storm. I began to walk down the dune and lost my footing. I tumbled and rolled all the way to the edge of the hole, the opening mere inches from where I stopped. “Damn, that was too close.” I sighed in relief. Pulling myself to my feet, I gazed down into the ground. I scooted closer to the edge to get a better view inside. *Crack* The ground beneath me gave way.
_________________________________________________
I woke up in a small cluster of rocks and pebbles. I wiped my brow finding that I was near dripping with sweat. There was stars where the ground had given away beneath me. I searched in panic for my phone. The screen was severely cracked, but I was still as to discern the time. It was nine o'clock at night. “I've been down here for three hours?” I asked to the empty cavern. Just then my phone rang.
“Hello?!” I asked.
“Reggie, where are you?!” my grandmother asked urgently.
“Oh thank goodness, grandma I fell down a hole at the beach.”
“You did what?! What the hell have I told you about going down to that beach during the winter! You never know what ground is real or not!” she shouted sternly.
“Grandma I know okay, please send someone to find me!” I said with a slight whimper.
“Don't worry. I already called the police, sit tight.” I hung up the phone and collapsed to the floor. “Why is it so hot down here!” I screamed while ripping my jacket off. During the commotion I didn't notice that this cavern had perfect lighting for it to be after sunset. I darted my eyes around looking for the source of the light. There it was right in front of me. A sprite the same color as the lightning bolt that struck three hours ago. It was so enticing like it wanted me to come closer. I tried to fight it with all of the strength I had left, but it was no use.
I reached my hand to the sprite. The moment my hand made contact with it a surge of what felt like electricity shot through me. I couldn't move at all as I watched every moment of my life flashed before my eyes before I blacked out again.
I woke with a headache that felt like someone was trying to drill through my skull. I sat up slowly, trying to make heads or tails of what was around me. My vision was blurry, even more than usual. “Glasses,” was the first thing that made it’s way into my mind. I began to search around my room with single minded determination, only this wasn’t my room. As my vision began to focus I realized that I wasn’t even in my own house! I began to pace around in panic wondering if I were dead, or if I was kidnapped. I ran my hands worriedly through my hair clutching buches as I did so. I looked up to the glass ceiling then down to the ground. “Aaahh!” I yelled, realizing that I was fully naked. I covered my...ahem...area biting my nails. “I don’t know where I am or who took me. And I woke up naked!” I began to breathe heavily while dancing around like I had to use the bathroom. *clop, clop, clop* I turned to the door terrified of who may have brought me here. My mind was screaming hide, but my body wouldn’t budge. Just as soon as the door opened I ducked underneath the bed I slept on. I saw what looked like purple legs? They weren’t human more like, some kind of four legged animal?
“Hello? Hey, where did it go?” the creature asked. I lay there mere inches away from this...thing.
“I could’ve sworn it was on this bed.” the purple entity mumbled again. she gasped loudly then ran away. I sat still until the rhythmic clicking of footsteps grew fainter. I rolled out from under the bed looking up at the ceiling.
“This is some crazy dream. I am at the hospital right now. Yeah, yeah, that’s it. They just overdid it with the morphine.” I tried to reassure myself. I slowly rose to my feet. “This is by far the most realistic dream I’ve ever had.” I mumbled. “Seeing how as I may be asleep for a while, let’s try and find my stuff.” I walked cautiously to the door. I opened it as slow as I could so it wouldn't make a sound. I found myself in a hallway made of what looked like even more glass. ”I see that not only Justin Bieber like’s to sell his douchiness with a house made entirely of glass.” . It was a long narrow hallway. I sprinted as fast as I could towards the door at the end. I nearly skidded to a stop on the polished floors. There were two voices coming from the other side.
“Is it a Manticore?” one deep voice asked.
“I don’t know. Princess Twilight said that it was too small.” another slightly higher voice added in.
“Is it some sort of deformed Centaur?”
“It could be, but centaurs have four legs this thing only has two.” Then there was the muffled sound of a trumpet call. “That must be the princess, come on!”
“Princess...Twilight?” I played around with the familiar name. The moment the two guards were gone I opened the door into a massive dome shaped room. I felt the heat of the sun on my heels; turning I saw a small balcony that led outside. I ran as if fueled by pure instinct to what seemed to be my freedom, but as soon as I passed through the short archway I saw that I was hundreds of feet off of the ground. Flailing my arms about wild twisting I managed to stop myself. “That was too close.” I said to myself. I looked up from the balcony, greeted by the most beautiful landscape I had ever laid my eyes on. The rolling plains adorned by towering mountains in the distance. I subconsciously walked to the edge taking in the warm breeze coming through. I had became so caught up in the weather I didn’t realize that I was being watched. *siff* The moment i heard that sound I whipped around instantly, greeted by some purple and green figure, no higher than my waist, staring at me. We were locked in a stalemate, neither of us willing to move until i shifted my position causing it to run.
“Aaaah, Twilight! That thing that came through the portal is out!” It shouted loudly.
“Shit, Wait!” I ran after the little green man. I chased him down some stairs that led to a forked path. “Come on, you’ve got to be kidding me!” I growled in anger. “If that little thing tells whatever other….whatever they are where I am.” I stopped ”Well hell, I don’t know” . I stood there in terror trying to decide what my sext move would be.
“Quick, it’s up here!” I heard the little green creature yeall from the right door. With no hesitation I bolted through the door. I should’ve exercised more caution. The moment I ran through the doors I heard the thunderous rumble of footsteps around me. “Don’t look back.” I whispered to myself. Two guards appeared in front of me.
“Halt, creature!” the larger dark grey one yelled. I checked my surroundings and immediately turned left into an open door. I ran into a kitchen full of Horses. I took no time to try and figure out what was going on as my mind was fueled by adrenaline and the need to escape. I ducked and dodged horses unicorns wielding spatulas, frying pans, and pots. I emerged from the other side into a massive foyer. at the end was a door and the way out.
“Stop!” a feminine voice called out.
Hearing whoever she was only made me want to escape even more. I pushed myself as hard as I could. “Ha *wheeze* haha.” I rasped as t my salvation was nearly in reach.
“Stop right there!” a white guard with blue gray eyes commanded. I tested my luck and only pushed on harder. He readied himself like a bull about to charge. Only a few feet away from him I jumped in the air reaching out to the sunlight then I felt something warm and misty surround before throwing me to the ground with a solid thud. I tried to get up and run again, but I was faced with two blue gray eyes looking on me with malice.
“It’s no use, you’re surrounded.” he stated triumphantly over me. I looked around and saw a sea of these sentient horses surrounding me. I put my hands behind my head and got on my knees. “I really hope that this is a dream.” I said worriedly.
“let me through.”
I saw something purple parting the guards forcefully. Then there she was standing over me, purple unicorn with wings, and a hot pink string running through her hair.
“Look at all of you, trying to harm this poor defenseless creature.”
“Defenseless?” I mouthed.
“It doesn't know where it is, for all we know it could be a new endangered species!” she stomped a hoof forcefully. “Now I am going to take this...um...thing back to the tower.”
She turned around and began walking towards the crowd around us. The guards parted without saying a word. Letting .y curiosity get the better of me I followed her closely. “I know I've seen you somewhere before, but I can't remember.” That feeling of deja-vu grew stronger the more I examined her. Soon the short green and purple creature ran up to her and climbed on to her back. They were whispering something that I could only get the slightest gist of. I was able to point out two words, “sure” and “hope”. Two words that could mean life or death.

We reached the room where I had woken up. I walked over to the bed, taking a seat when I felt the same warm feeling that I had downstairs. She stood me up straight, closed the door, then turned to me with judgemental eyes.
“You are an intelligent creature, there's no doubt in that.” she said while circling me.
“You have very little fur on you except for your head. Also, you have the upper body of a centaur, but no horns, and you only have two legs.” she sat on her haunches.
“What are you?”
I opened my mouth to answer but all that came out were incoherent peeps and airy rasps. She leaned in closer as if I was telling her a riveting tale. I closed my mouth, took a few breaths then spoke.
“I'm a..a person?”
Her eyes went wide in shock. “You can talk?!” she shouted.
“Y..yes.” I cowered a little.
She paced around the room excitedly. “Oh my goodness, Spike it can talk!” she stood directly in front of me. “Do you know what I am saying?” she said annunciating every syllable.
“Yes, I can understand you.” I replied quietly. She started to run in place while squealing in delight.
“Spike do you know what this means?!” she shouted into the little green creatures face.
“What Twilight?” he fearfully responded.
“I've found a new species completely unknown to Equestria! I've found a..” she trailed. “What are you exactly?”
“I'm a human being.” I replied with a little more confidence.
She put her hoof to her chin saying “human” slowly. “Well... human, do you go by any names?”
“M..my name is Reginald Morris.”
She said my name slowly a few times plus one just to make sure she got it right. “Okay, ‘Reginald Morris’, where are you from?”
It was then I realized that I didn't even know where I was. “I was kinda wondering if you can tell me where I am?” I asked nervously.
“Oh right, you are in the land of Equestria.” she declared with an outstretched hoof.
“Wait, Equestria, equus, equine, an equine is any
animal pertaining to the horse family. She is a horse right? She does appear to have equine features, but she's smaller than your average horse. Hmmm, and wait did that little creature call her Twilight? So did the guards! Oh dear God! I realised where I was.
“Are you okay?” she concretely asked.
I put my hands on my head and collapsed to my knees. “How did I get here?!” I asked with a trembling voice.
“We found you in my lab on the floor.” she cautiously responded.
It all came back to me. The blizzard, the lightning, the hold and..... the sprite. I felt like bawling my eyes out. My breathing began to quicken as I started to panic again. I looked up at her.
“Please, I need to get back home!” I whimpered.
She looked at the little creature then back to me. “I'm sorry, we've tried to reopen the mirror.” she stopped. “I'm so sorry.”
I didn't care who saw or what it would make me look like, upon hearing those words I broke down. I had never cried so hard in my life. All of the people in my life probably thought that I was dead, and I couldn't tell them that I'm okay. I cried even harder, screaming “why.” In the midst of my emotional breakdown I felt something warm and furry wrap around my. I took my head out of my hands and saw two teary eyes looking up at me. I pulled her into a tight sorrowful embrace.
Now I am alone in a world I do not know, and I'm scared.
I don't know how long I sat there crying in her empty embrace. You never know the full gravity of a situation until reality hits you like a raging bull. I cried for what felt like hours repeating the only word that could break through my denialist state.
“No,no,no,no!” I yelled, rocking ever so slightly. “This isn't real! It's all some messed up nightmare!” I looked up at her... Twilight, as she looked down on me with sympathetic eyes. “Please, tell me that this isn't real.” Her ears dropped as she let out a heavy sigh. I already knew the answer. I am going to be trapped in a strange world with no other people but me. I wiped my dried tears away and rise to my feet. “How did I get here?” I asked coldly.
She looked down to the little purple man then back at me. “We found you on the floor in my lab.”
“Can you take me there?”
“W-well yes, but I don't... ”
“Please!” I begged, my voice cracking slightly. She didn't say a word and proceeded out of the door. I followed closely behind walking like a lifeless husk. I don't belong in this world, I can't live with these horses. I just wanted to get home at any cost no matter the depth. We entered a large room full of scientific equipment. Beakers sat organized on a desk, various machines lined the walls, and journals were stuffed into various bookshelves. She led me to the far end where a mirror stood emitting a deep continuous hum.
“Here's where we found you.” she pointed her hoof to the area in front of the mirror. I approached the mirror looking deep into it's pulsating spirals.
“We've tried to go through it, but it's sealed off somehow.” Twilight said. “I don't know how many spells I've casted. Nothing can open it.” I balled up my fist and punched the mirror causing it to teeter slightly and Twilight to flinch.
“This is it then, I'm stuck here forever.” I drearily spoke, barely above a whisper.
“Don't worry Regional.” she rubbed her head on my leg, stabbing me with her horn.
“It's Reginald.” I answered flatly.
“Sorry, Reginald. I promise to get you back home, and my friends will help!”
“Don't make promises that you can't keep.”
“Come on Spike, let's go get the others!” she shouted with determination.
“R-right.” the little purple... Spike, answered.
Within moments I was alone only accompanied by the hum of the mirror taunting me as if it knew what it had done. It laughed at me. It lured me into this world on purpose and now it's gloating, flaunting it's victory in my face like a trophy. Filled with blind rage I attacked the mirror, punching and kicking violently while screaming at the top of my lungs. I didn't care who or what heard me. All I wanted to do was make this inanimate object pay for what it did. I had a loving family and friends. I was at the top of my class. My future was going to be brighter than the sun and that damn mirror ruined it!
I stopped, fists red as a tomato and breaths heavier than lead. I picked up the mirror and set it back in place then I curled into a ball and cried again.
“Why! Ugh, I'm crying like a baby, but it... Aaargh!” I yelled into the empty room. Sprawled out on the floor I began to calm myself and regain my composure. “I wish I could tell them that I'm okay.”
I got up off the ground and wiped my tears. Then I caught something out of the corner of my eye. On a nearby table I saw what looked like glasses, but not just any, my glasses. I rushed over to the table and put them on with no hesitation. “Finally I can see perfectly again!” I cheered. “Surprisingly without a scratch, and they're clean.” With my vision restored I saw that my things were on the counter next to the table. My pants, shoes, socks, even my underwear were all laid out and organized, and my phone. I stared at it as if I had found it after several years of separation. I picked it up and examined it. Other than the crack or had when I fell it was visually okay, but I didn't know if it would work.
Hesitantly I pushed the power button, and the screen flickered on. Something was strange though. It had a full battery but in the cave it was near death. I unlocked the screen and went to my pictures. Hundreds of photos still there nothing altered or changed. Pictures are a small instance of the past that will live on forever like a memory. One tear rolled down my cheek and landed on the picture of me and my family in the Rocky Mountains. I put it down. I couldn't bear to look at the image anymore.
“Okay, time to get dressed.”
About ten fifteen minutes later I was dressed in my full street attire. A black puma polo with a red open flannel shirt and blue jeans with heavy snow boots. “Ah, that's more like it.” I said while looking over myself.
“You guys aren't going to believe this. It calls itself a human, but it goes by Regionald.”
“Ah' hope that ya' didn't drag me away from work to see one of your silly creations Twilight.”
“I didn't make this it just appeared in my lab... On the floor... And, well you're going to be amazed.”
“Ha, it's gonna take more than an egghead science experiment to impress me.”
I stood listening to an ensemble of feminine voice approaching the lab. I didn't know what to do so I waited for whatever wise this strange world had to throw at me. Then entered Twilight and five other ponies. The tension in the room was thick enough to cut with a knife. They stood dumbfounded just staring at me.
“What do you think?” Twilight asked smugly.
“Yup, that's it. Twilight's give crazy scientist on us.” the blue one shot.
“No I haven't!” Twilight defended.
“That's obviously a mutilated manticore.”
“No it's not! It is a human from... Where are you from?”
“Oh come on, you expect this thing to...”
“I'm from E-earth.” I answered nervously.
They all fliched in surprise except for Twilight.
“Did that thing just talk?” the white unicorn asked.
“Yes it did. Are you a boy or girl by chance?”
“I'm a guy.” I answered flatly.
“Okay, so yes he did Rarity.”
They backed fearfully away from me.
“Girls don't be scared, he's as harmless as a little bunny.” Twilight defended. At that point the blue one flew over and landed in front of me. She circled me as if I were going through an inspection.
“It doesn't have a tail and it's mane is really short.” she pointed out. “Also why does it stand like Spike.”
“I don't know, and I told you that he is a guy Rainbow Dash.” Twilight declared. I snickered a little thinking “What kind of a name is Rainbow Dash?” Then she flew at me stopping inches in front of my face.
“What the hay is so funny huh!” she scowled
“Uh...nothing Miss Dash.” I replied nervously.
“I'm watching you hu-man.”
When she left my personal space I noticed a pink one with a puffy mane was staring intently at me.
“H-hello,” I waved. “Is she okay?”
“Yeah, Pinkie has like physic sense or something.” Rainbow answered. “Pinkie agree I you okay?” she asked, waving a hoof in her face.
“Wow that was a lot, hehe.” she giggled, snapping out of her hypnotic state. “His name is Reginald Terrell Morris he is from Gary Indiana in the United States of America on somewhere called Earth.”
We looked at her, surprise written on our faces.
“How did you know that?” I she's l asked, absolutely astonished.
“Pinkie sense.” she answered simply.
“Pinkie sense?”
“I don't fully understand it either, but she's helped us out a lot over the years.” Twilight added. “Now the real reason I brought you here was to see if you can help me fix the mirror.”
“Ain't that the mirror that you 'nd Spike when l went through all those times?” the orange one asked.
“Yes, Applejack.”
“And he is what was in the other side?”
“In a sense, yes, but he's a little different.”
“How so?” Rarity asked. Twilight looked at me then back to the group.
“I don't know. He just isn't the same as them.”
“U-um...I have a question.” a yellow shy one spoke up.
“Yes Fluttershy?”
“How are we going to fix the mirror, if you don't mind me asking?” she asked while hiding behind her hair. Twilight looked at me then back to the mirror.
“I-I don't know. I guess I was so excited about him that I didn't even think of how we might get this done.”
“At least you were right about one thing.” Rarity stated while walking towards me.
“What's that?” Twilight asked.
“He is most definitely an eye catcher. I've never seen any creature like this, and these clothes are so unique.” she said with a hoof to my flannel shirt.
“Don't you agree that he is quite interesting Fluttershy?” The one called Fluttershy jumped back a little.
“I guess,” she said quietly.
“Fluttershy stop being so scared.” Rainbow demanded.
“I'm not scared. You know how I am when I met somepony new.”
“Ugh, I thought Iron Will straightened this out years ago.”
“It's airtight, she'll coffee when she's ready.”I said calmly. Soon I was surrounded by four ponies poking and prodding at me.
“Ahem,” we all looked to the doorway. There stood a large white horse with a horn and wings just like Twilight's. “I hope I wasn't interrupting anything.” she declared.
“No, Princess not at all.” Twilight answered nervously.
“So, you're the one that Spike spoke to me about.” she looked directly at me.
“What do you mean Princess?” Twilight asked.
“Spike sent me a letter stating that there was a strange creature here.” she said authoritatively. She surrounded me in a yellow aura and lifted me off the ground. Twisting and turning me in her telekinetic embrace she examined every part of me... Eugh, every part. “I must say, I haven't seen a human in almost two millennia.”
“Wait, you've seen a human before?” Rainbow Dash asked. “We used coexist.”
“What?!” they asked in unison.
“I've never read that in the history books.” Twilight added. She put me down with the others and sat down herself.
“That's because it was erased from Equestrian history long ago.” she said solemly.
“A-actually there's stories of pegasus and unicorns in Greek Mythology.” I added nervously.
“There's documented records of Equestrians in your history?” she asked excitedly.
“Well, yes and no. We usually see it as fantasy is myth.”
“What! No, it was as real as the sun moon and stars.” she stood and projected a hologram out if her horn. “Humans and Equestrians had a prosperous relationship. We lived, loved, and played together.”
“Does that mean?” Applejack asked.
“No, that could only happen if a human were to be turned into a pony or vice versa, then again he or she was human so there is a possibility that you have human blood within all of you.” she explained.
“Cool,” Rainbow Dash said while the others shivered.
“You're telling me that I may be part horse?” I asked in slight panic.
“All life is connected in some way young human.”
“Wait, how did our worlds separate?” She hung her head down.
“Sadly that, I do not remember, but it raises the question of how you got here.”
“Twilight said that she found him unconscious next to the mirror.” Rarity responded. I hung my head low remembering the events that led me here.
“Isn't that the mirror that leads to the world parallel to ours?”
“Yes,” Twilight answered in cowardice.
“What happened?” the princess asked while walking over to the mirror.
“I-I...I was trying to create a system that would allow ponies to travel around Equestria. Using the mirrors they would've been able to go anywhere instantly.” Twilight said in shame.
“Mhmm,” she encased the mirror in her gold aura. A few seconds later there was a crescendoing hum followed by an explosion of energy.
“Ugh, It's still open, but it's sealed on both sides.” she said with her hoof to her head.
“What do we do then?” Twilight asked.
“I don't know, but I have a feeling that something on a grander scale is upon us.” she turned to me. “Where are my manners, I forgot to ask your name.”
“I'm Reginald Morris.” I answered.
“You must be starving, come let's get you something to eat.” I followed her and the others out of the lab, taking one last look at the mirror before I left.
Bye guys...
