A New Adventure

  Markiplier put a hoof to his head, his head hurt from the portal, and slamming his head on the ground. He didn't know where he was or what condition he was in until he opened his eyes. He opened them to find hooves instead of hands and feet. He gasped, then saw he had a tail as well. He couldn't believe his own eyes. What had happened to him?

  He looked around the area, hoping to find a trace of human life. Finding none, he decided to explore this weird place. He felt his head, and found headphones still on his head. He must have forgotten to take them off before entering the portal. Oh well, he thought, no going back now. Mark saw a moving creature in the distance. He decided to approach him or her, maybe they could at the least tell him where he was.

  Once approaching it, he realized it was a female horse. It made sense, seeing as though he had hooves and a tail. But what he didn't get is what that mark was on her.. butt? He didn't know, nor wanted to know, and trotted away. Then his eyes darted to his flank, he saw a mark, it was a pink mustache, while her's was a 8-pointed star.

  His mind raced with ideas until, he realized something. He remember playing a My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic horror game! Was he there? Was he in the place where those ponies lived? It seemed so, but didn't want to jump to conclusion. He decided to ask that mare that he assumed was a kind, and not there plotting his death.

  When approaching her, she turned her head. She stared, locking eyes with his. He felt awkward, but couldn't hold in his question. He did a little wave, then introduced himself. "Hello, my name's Markiplier." Suddenly, the mare gasped. Markiplier worried he frightened her, but that didn't seem to be the case. But, again, not wanting to jump to conclusion, he asked. "Did.. Did I scare you?"

  The mare was smiling a large friendly smile. "OMG! OMG! OMG!!" She shouted. "Is it really you? The REAL Markiplier?!" She question smiling still, trying to keep her cool. "I'm a huge fan!" She exclaimed loudly. Then realizing what had just happened, Twilight smiled a little more lightly. "I'm Twilight Sparkle, it's such an honor to meet you!"

  Markiplier smiled. "You've heard of me?" The suddenly gasped. She got pushed him over, and stood above him.

  "Markiplier.." She began, staring down with an angry expression. "Everypony in Ponville knows and loves you and your videos!" She announced. "To be honest, anypony in Ponyville, no probably all of Equestria would find it an honor to meet, you, see you!" She traded her angry expression for a nice cheery one.

  Markiplier suddeny gasped. I am in that place where those ponies live! "I'm in.. Ponyville?" He asked. His mind raced with questions. "Why did the portal transport me here, and not somewhere else? There has to be an explanation of why it wanted me here! And I'm gonna find out!"

  Twilight smiled. "And you're like me! Always trying to find things out. Everything needs an explanation. She said in a cheerful tone. She decided it would be best to help him. "I'd love to help you! Most of my friends- well, actually only Rainbow Dash-" She was cut off by Markiplier.

  "R.. Rainbow Dash?!" He questioned. "You are the ponies from that horror game!" He exclaimed.

  Twilight looked at him with a confused expression. "Horror game? Us?" She herself asked. "Never thought a horror game would be made.." She stopped and turned away, then back at Markiplier. "What's it about?"

  Markiplier put a hoof to his head, and sat down. "Hmm, sorry, I don't remember. But I do remember the jump scares! Goodness gravy! You ponies were creepy as fuck!"

  Twilight giggled. "What a potty-mouth we've got here. Well, it IS Markiplier.." She smiled brightly. Then smiled even more when she heard her friends in the distance. She turned from Markiplier who was now standing again. "Girls! Over here!" She saw them all run down the hill, with big smiles on their faces.

  When they got to her, Pinkie Pie looked and saw Markiplier, or as she thought was him. "Is.. Is That?!" Pinkie questioned, pointed a hoof at Markiplier who felt awkward there, but glad at the same time.

  "So I have human and pony fans. Who would've known?" That answered Pinkie's question and she zoomed over to him. "Omygosh,omygosh,omygosh!!" The pink party pony shouted with glee. "I'mahugefan!" She hugged him tightly. After seeing his face, she let go. "Could you make a video with all of us?!" Pinkie asked, pointed at her friends behind her.

  "I'd absolutely adore making  a video with such a handsome and amazing pony!" Rarity said flipping her mane, and staring at him. He smiled and laughed, blushing slightly.

  "Well, o' course, I would make a video with ya'll!" Applejack smiled.

  "AWESOME!!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "What are you gonna play? Five Nights? Oculus Rift? Other stuff?" Markiplier smiled.

  "Maybe.." He said, "But I forgot everything in the human dimension!" He then sighed. Rainbow cheered him up though.

"No problem!" I've got all of that stuff! I'd gladly let you borrow it for a video!" Dash said, smiling.

  Fluttershy walked up to him, with Angel on her head. "Oh, oh, my. I'm a huge, huge, huge fan!" She said in a quiet voice. "I heard about that horror game you played- Oh, did I scare you in it? I'm sorry.." Flutters said, trying to smile. She allowed Angel to see Markiplier, and Angel sniffed his hoof, then went back to Flutters.

  Twilight smiled. "How about we all go back to my house, Spike made a lot of nachos, enough for all of us." Markiplier liked the idea of nachos and tagged along. But not only for that reason. These were his first pony friends. Hopefully he could make more, but these ponies are his main. And he'll always be there for them.

  On their walk to the library, the ponies told Markiplier how their ponies not horses, and about Princess Celestia, and how she rises and lowers the sun, and Princess Luna, who rises and lowers the moon. And about the Crystal Empire, her brother, and Princess Cadence. The talk about rulers was rather interesting to him, so he listened carefully.

  Once they reached Twilight's home, Twilight said, "We're here! Welcome to my home." She used her magic to swing open the big large doors. Markiplier looked around, suprised.

  "You.. You live in a castle?" He was suprised by this. He admired the scenery, so beautiful. Then they reached the huge room. He saw six chairs with that mark on their flanks on the back-side. They all sat in their proper chairs, except Markiplier, who had no chair.

  "Here," Rainbow said, motioning him to her chair. He took a seat beside her, she smiled. "Mark, here should totally become the 7th element of harmony!" Rainbow exclaimed. The rest nodded.

  "I wish- We wish." Twilight said. "Maybe.." Then she remembered what she and Markiplier had discussed. "Alright, Mark, lets try to find out why the portal sent you here. There must be at least something in the library. She motioned for Mark to follow, and did, followed by the others. Twilight made her way inside the library, searching through shelves.

  The other ponies helped as well, doing their share. Mark also did. He searched through books, skimming through, hoping to find something on portals. Or the pony dimension.

  He trotted over to the section labeled 'p'. He searched and then looked for the section labeled 'portals'. Once finding it, he flipped through, trying to find something. After looking through all the portal books, he decided there was no answer in a book. "Well, I guess it's not in a book.." He looked at them. "Maybe you all know.."

  Twilight put down her book, and laid it aside with her magic. "I don't know.."

  Rainbow interupted. "Maybe the portal knew that we were here! So yea!" They all stared at her. Her big smile faded. "Yeah.. I don't know.." She sighed. "Will we ever know? But I mean, why do we care? He's here, and we're happy about that, end of-" She was cut off by Twilight's words.

  "But we want to know why the portal sent him to the pony dimension! But, seriously, I want to know why he was sent here, and not someplace else." Twilight said, unsure of why Rainbow Dash wouldn't want to know why he was sent here. It confused Twilight that she didn't care why he was sent here.

"Maybe.." Fluttershy began. "Maybe there's an evil force that could not reach you in Equestria, and only Equestria." Markiplier's eyes suddenly lit up, and a frown was on his face.

"Fluttershy. I think you're right.." Fluttershy looked at him, confused. But before she could ask how, Markipier answered. "Darkiplier.." A gasp came from the group.

Rainbow shuddered. "But.. That was just in the fandom! He can't be real! No.. He can't!" Rainbow screamed. "He'll hurt you and us!" Mark nodded his head. "HOW COULD HE BE REAL?!"

Markiplier looked at her. "I honestly don't know, Rainbow Dash."

Twilight smiled. "But I do know something." Twilight said grabbing them all, including Markiplier into a big hug. "You'll always be safe with us." Smiles appeared on all of their faces.

Markiplier knew these ponies were his fans, but not only his fans. His protectors. And he would protect them too..

Pinkie smiled even bigger. "BEST FRIENDS FOREVER!!" They all nodded in agreement.
