King Zeus and Prince Cross!
Zeus awoke and stared... He looked like a little colt version of his mother... The blue hair... the black skin.. the fine body... The holes in his legs... He had just had another dream about it.. the Human War was now nearing a end and he had bet on Hitler because of how magical he seemed... But now Hitler was now basically between a rock and hard place. With Russia on one side and America on the other front.
He placed his custom action figures about accordingly then he checked it... He had put all the soldiers who froze to death or been killed at Stalingrad into a pile. There weren't models of every soldier he had one for every one hundred soldiers... He then placed Hitler in the new place he was staying and looked over it carefully.
What was going to happen to Hitler his favorite in his dreams. In Hitler he had noticed had the same thing as him. He rocked a little on his legs. His mother called Rocking Horse because of this which was the name of a biped plaything. Humans in his world were mythical so when he had dreams about them his mother had been concerned.
She had at first tried to discourage him from playing with human figures and had forbid they be made for him but she gave in.
His mother Queen Chrysalis was loving to him despite that she was horrifying to her subjects... She had never even lay a hoof on him since he was born. Yet she had killed her own family and terrorized her subjects into complacency.
The six year old looked at the door as the nob turned. A changeling drone walked in and looked at him scared, "They attacked at night and are in the palace...."
Zeus asked, "Who is in the palace..."
The drone told him, "Shinning Amour and his legion..."
Zeus yelled, "How did he get here...?"
The drone stated, "He has been making way trough the kingdom for years now... After The Queen tried to kill his sister he brought his army to our land..."
Zeus cried, "But mom said he wasn't able to get past this cities defenses..."
The drone stated, "She was lying to you to protect you from fearing the ponies... They are here in this city and they are smashing the country to bits... They are coming by the hundreds... We need to get out of here now... Take your favorite dolls and go..."
Zeus picked up his custom doll of the human from his dreams Hitler and started running after the changeling drone... Zeus was given a sword and his glasses in the hall by two more drones then they started running to the secret passage way... Suddenly a member of the Pony Troops came in front of them... the Pony was blond with a Blue mane... He yelled, "I HAVE KILLED QUEEN CHRYSALIS NOW I COME FOR THE SON OF THE HORROR!"
Two changelings fought the Pegasus while the other led Zeus to the secret passage... They came to the secret passage and knelt down and went trough... Zues heard fighting as he went through... the passage collapsed behind them on ancient changeling spells. He thought... My mother is dead... I will never see her again... Gods my mother is dead...
He came out of the passage through a door in the ground and horror belied his eyes. He was in a tent of a pony.. He knew this because it had a picture of a pony female beside the bed. The drone came out and said softly, "Shit!"
Zeus said, "Mommy says that is a bad word..."
They began carefully looking for a exit... Suddenly two ponies entered.. The Pegasus from before and a well built unicorn entered... for the first time he noted that the Pegasus was covered in green blood... Changeling blood... He held a large sack... Zeus knelt down with his companion.. The sack was dripping changeling blood... The unicorn with blue hair and white fur asked, "Is it her..." The changeling guard tried to cover Zeus's eyes as the sack was pulled but he saw and screamed... In the sack was his mother's severed head... The ponies looked behind them... The white one went, "what in the hell!"
Zeus screamed, "YOU KILLED MY MOMMY!"
The blond pony stepped forward... "It is Zeus the son of Chrysalis... The horror ends now!"
The Pony bolted forward a sword in wing...
Metal clashed with metal as the drone drew his own... the white pony suddenly ordered the blond pony to stand down, "He is a child.. Do not harm him..."
Zeus walked over to the severed head of his mother and wept... Shinning took the sword form his and picked up Zeus and put him on his back... "Sorry kid.. I couldn't do anything to keep her alive..." Zeus fell asleep not knowing if it was spell or not and another dream about Hitler and his army's progress... Looked like it was all over for Hitler like him... He woke up...
He looked around.. he was in a chariot.. He realized also it was flying... Were the Gods taking him to heaven? He looked and saw the changeling guard and his doll... He looked at the guard.. He was bruised and beaten... He asked the guard, "Are we going to heaven?"
The guard said, "Sorry Kid they did not kill you!"
Zeus asked, "Are they going to torture us...?"
The guard said, " In the most sadistic way possible... Shinning is going to raise you as his son... Oh by the way I am your dietitian now so be nice to me or I will feed you lots of vegetables."
Zeus said, "Why did he let me live?"
The "dietitian" said, "You are a child and ponies don't kill children..."
Zeus said, "Can I someday avenge my mother..."
The "dietitian" told him, "There is a old saying in my family.. when you plot revenge dig a grave for your enemy then yourself!"
Zeus yelled, "That does not change anything... they killed my mother..."
"It is war... It happens!"

Cross al little grass green pony with blond hair and a long horn looked at his mother... "But I don't wanna move to the Crystal Empire.. It is cold and the ponies are weird..."
His mom said, "That is racist son..."
Cross whimpered, "But they are..."
She stated, "Every day I wonder why we haven't given you to a group home..."
Cross muttered, "Mom I just don't wanna go..."
She looked at him and patted his head, "Don't worry you'll make new friends and all your friends are moving out of Nighcago any since the mayor Reality Check bankrupted the economy with his so called "free market" policies... Who in heck is stupid enough not to believe in Neighsian Economics"
"John Maynard Neigh's was a smart pony!"
"Yup! Don't remember that and you'll fuck up big time... Opps sorry!"

Candace looked at her husband as he arrived... "Tell me what exactly happened cause Princess Celestia is leading a investigation for war crimes..."
Shinning said, "Listen I can't always control thousands of newly recruited stallions with their ragging hormones being that they gave us a bunch 19 yr olds!"
Candace muttered, "Listen we need to cover our butts.. .Listen everyone agrees Chrissy basically committed a act of war by trying to kidnap your sister... But we must remember there still are rules in war..."
Shinning muttered back, "This is bullshit against us in the Crystal Empire.. Chrysalis from day one showed she did not care about the rules of war and that is a fact what about the fact that she had foals as young as her son carry lit bombs into our camps and used illegal gas weapons.. And that some of my men misbehaved is the scandal!"
Candace asked, "How young is this Zeus our intel spoke of?"
Shinning Amour stated, "6..."
Candace asked, "What did you do with him?"
Shinning said, "Oh I sliced him up and fed him to his love maid.. Just kidding I basically brought him here..."
Candace asked, "You do realize what that could be construed as..."
Shinning yelled, "As far as I care now the press can shove it up their asses... These ponies have been after me since day one.. The Presses have said that I was the next Sombra simply cause I was a unicorn like him. They have committed treason all over the place and yet I have been mature and polite even when people are asking me if I poisoned you every time you are sick. First when I requested a military intervention against the Changeling Rouge State... and then it was that if I did it had to be by purely my order and the only way to do that was declaring full fledged war rather then a intervention... Then they said I could not win.. then when I did win they now declare I am a war criminal.. What next declare me a blasphemer and burn me alive!"
Candace said, "I am just warning you... We will keep it secret that you took him and say the real one committed suicide.. Tia will go along with that..."
Shinning said, "Once we get him to transform into a dead orphan we will reveal him as adopted!"
Candace said, "Good were is he?"
Shinning stated, "Outside with Skyla!"

Zeus was outside in the private courtyard..
He kept thinking of his mother, 'Why did they have to kill her? She was so wonderful...'
Skyla came up to him, "Your the changeling prince?"
He said, "Yes who are you?"
"Skyla!"
"And you are a Princess.. sorry I won't marry you..."
"Listen we are too young to marry and second a women chooses a man of her choosing and third we are going to be siblings..."
"So what am going to do.. sleep in a bunk bed with meat!"
She looked, "Meat?"
He said, "Yes we eat ponies all the time.. your dad is the first pony I saw besides that Pegasus that wasn't gutted and beheaded..."
"Ew... That is horrible!"
"It is more horrible to be raised by meat..."
He didn't really hate her... he was just angry... Angry his mom was gone... He knew he couldn't really do anything cause he was 6 but he wanted to...
Skyla said, "You are mean!"
Suddenly Zeus started crying...
Skyla stated bluntly, "Your crying now..."
Zeus yelled, "Is your mom dead cause mine is..."
Skyla stared, "Listen Shinning is going to make you his son so you have a new mommy.. Candace..."
Zeus yelled louder, "And he took my mom away!"
Skyla said, "He did not.. She would not surrender!"
Zeus stated, "Sure I saw her head... they beat her before they cut it off!"
Skyla informed him, "Daddy would never do that..."
Zeus said, "Well he did!"
Shinning came out and ask, "Zeus why are you crying?"
Zeus yelled, "Cause you killed my mommy!"
Candace came out and walked up to Zeus, "Shinning wanted your mother alive for a total surrender... his troops killed her because they weren't very good at taking her alive!"
Shinning said, "Hate me not my wife.. She did not want the war..."
Zeus hugged Candace and said, "Can I have something to eat..."
Skyla yelled, "Mommy they eat ponies!"
Candace replied, "He is not going to eat ponies.. but he will eat meat because it is essential to a Changeling's diet I am told!"
Zeus said, "Thanks.. I thought I was going to eat vegetables for sure..."
Candace replied back, "You'll have to eat some!"
Zeus yelled, "Eww!"

Candace had no trouble liking Zeus despite being a changeling and he didn't appear to view her as a enemy nor Skyla but he did go off quite a lot. Shinning Amour could not get near him without him going to hell. He hated whenever he didn't get his way.. It could just be that his mother had spoiled him except the Changelings she brought over to help said he had always been like this and that was not the case. She began looking trough her memory.. and found his behavior was similar to Twilight as a filly. she had so wished she could have better helped Twilight so she could have explained the Magic of Friendship to her early which would have allowed her to gain her Wings.. Twilight had extreme trouble still finding friendship even though she mastered it because of her bizarre obsessive ways. All the original friends and latter Lyra and Bon Bon had had the whole thing going on where they were obsessed with weird crap!
She sent some letters with her questions to various doctors and then later a letter came which explained he might be something called the Autistic Psychopath... the word Psychopath scared her because one she knew about Psychopaths... Second if Twilight was a Psychopath then she was a Giant Talking Cat... But the letter explained that that was simply because they had nothing better to call it right now...
Well it did explain the problem although it did not explain the solution.. She knew that just cause he said Psychopath did not mean she would use medicines for helping Psychopaths... Not just because she how strong such medicine was but because she knew that if they started medicating him he could perceived that as abuse. But the dreams were going to need to tone down as they were really disturbing. Zeus stacked his toy human soldiers in disturbing and was hanging them from pieces of wire. He also was describing children being sent into battle. And the pictures he was drawing... People being burned alive and murdered by the hundreds and it appeared his favorite was Hitler who was doing a lot of it although Stalin the Japanese and the British were doing more... She asked him why Hitler was his favorite and not Roosevelt another human he described... He said because Hitler rocked back and forth like him. She was disturbed at this because if Hitler was supposed to be him then was this the hate he harbored towards non-changelings.
She noted that he would only sit with her or Skyla but not Shinning Amour or any other pony. He showed distrust of all the servants but the changelings which had been brought over for him. He hated ponies with a passion.. He always had the cook eat some of what he made before it was served to him...
In Zeus's homeland the place was being cut up and between the Crystal Empire and the Griffon Empire. Land was being renamed and they were being punished trough treaties they were forced to sign. They were being told they were completely at the mercy of the pony and Griffon nations and they were. It was terrorism against them by the Parliament. The Parliament had vilified Shinning when he had first proposed military intervention as a war monger. But as when the war happened, in which Shinning Amour was forced to use the Emergency War Amendment which was a leftover from King Sombra, they basically changed their mind to that Shinning needed the declare the war but was fighting it wrong. Then when Shinning Amour won their fangs came out as soon as Candace signed over to congress rights to run the occupation as they pleased... the fangs came out (No offense to Zeus)and they started sucking the Changeling Empire dry!
First they made a agreement with Griffons to split up the Changeling Empire.. then they agreed that state corporations in the Changeling Empire would be put under control of Griffon and Crystal Empire Corporations.. then they put the Liberal Economic Party in control a highly libertarian outfit! This was leading to massive Joblessness in the Changeling Empire and starvation...
The fact that changelings were basically angry at the Crystal Empire now.. And who could blame them.. they had had their government overthrown and had their dignity taken away. She had once hated them.. but she wasn't a hateful pony who could wish things like that on other ponies. She had realized even before Zeus came in her life that if the Changelings could have someone good in their royal seat that they might just yet be a force for good. She had first realized that when Shinning had first purposed war. A group of changeling immigrants came to the palace.. She had been expecting them to plea against Shinning and join the mob of hate.. instead they showed her pictures of Queen Chrysalis's torture chambers and death squads and called for her to show support for her husband. Apparently many changelings hate Chrysalis more then she did.
They were victims of a world which distrusted them... She had read a book on changelings by a changeling. It had said that when the pony tribes were at war they basically used Changelings to spy on each-other... Changelings were considered sub-sentient even by Earth Ponies.. After the tribes made peace they decided to exterminate the slave changelings as a show of peace... Some survived and made their way out into the desert... they established that the largest and longest lived of them would be royals... There came a day when the royal families blood became shallow. Chrysalis was born to a common changeling and the Queen... They tried to kill her in the cradle and they killed her mother when she was 10... By 12 she had had her revenge and had killed the rest of the royals. She because she had no love in her teenage years had a hardening of heart... She began to have Changelings who felt she wasn't the rightful heir to the throne definition and felt this should be the end of the monarchy. She suppressed them brutally... Torture chambers were set up and death squads became common...She allowed her generals in their desire for more blood to take over neighboring lands. The Changeling Empire was created... Before Chrysalis they had been very keeping to themselves not wanting to anger the Ponies and be exterminated... After Chrysalis they basically forgot their peaceful ways and exterminated many other tribes... Zeus was born from Chrysalis and her most powerful General who she mated with out of wedlock and had executed shortly after...
Zeus was simply meant to be her clone and nothing more... But he hadn't had a heart like hers.. He wasn't cold and evil.. He was young and innocent and he had disability so he was kept secret... The spies when they heard of Zeus imagined a son so evil he was locked away by Chrysalis herself from the changelings talk. When they had discovered a 6 yr old who played with action figures they had debated what to do... Shinning had immediately wanted to keep the colt as his own... others believed he would grow as evil as his mother one day... Flash Sentry had immediately insisted that the Pony War Code be made a exception for the foal as the War Code said ponies could not kill children. He had told Shinning that someday the foal would kill him for what he did.
She had for weeks been watching the foal began to play with Skyla and began to enjoy her company... One night he came to her bed and said, "Hitler committed suicide..." She looked at the doll he was holding... "He doesn't look damaged to me," she asked.. He told her, "No not the doll.. In my dreams he killed himself... She answered him, "Well maybe he kinda deserved it.. But then it is sad when anyone kills himself... How did he kill himself?" Zeus explained, "He put a gun to his head and shot himself..." She told him, "I am so sorry you had to see that in your dream.. But maybe the bad things will stop now...." She picked him with her front legs and hugged him. "You can sleep with me if you like.." she told him... "Thanks.." he said... She as soon as he was beside her began singing, Hush Now Quiet Now... She sang until he was asleep.. Then she watched him sleep.. he at first was scared but then he started to smile and dossed off... She then went to sleep...
She yawned early in the morning... Zeus yelled, "Your hair looks funny..." She stated, "Well we can't all have that good changeling hair..." He told her, "Sorry!"
She went into the kitchen, "Lets make some Pony Gray with Honey..."
She pored two glasses and he pored two glasses. Candace asked, "Who is the other glass for?"
He asked, "Who is yours for?"
She said, "Shinning!"
He said shyly, "Oh..."
She told him, "Just because you don't like him doesn't mean I don't like him..."
He told her then, "Mine is for Skyla... My sister..."
She said, "She is your sister... I am your mother then..."
He said, "You are like my mother... You care for me for no real reason..."
This disturbed her.. "Did Chrysalis care for you like that...?"
He stated, "Why do you think I loved her..."
It was a very mature statement for a child, she asked, "So she was not the pony I knew to you... I knew a very different pony.. I thought she did not care about anything..."
He asked, "Why...?"
She said, "First she tried to take my husband.. Then she tried to Twilight Sparkle away... I guess we are never who we truly are but what life makes us..."
He told her, "I am sorry she did that... But did he have to kill her...?"
She said, "No she did not have to die.. but he did not kill her!"

Cross looked at his dad... "Dad can we move back to Nieghcago..."
His dad went, "Why are you asking this again...?"
Cross told his dad, "All the Crystal Ponies hate me..."
Dad told him back, "You gotta realize you are not going to be popular..."
Cross yelled, "I am not only unpopular but the Ponies in School hate me..."
Dad said, "I need to work on a new video game please let talk about this latter..."
Cross screamed, "But dad we need to talk about this... They hate me!"
His dad told him sternly, "I need to make money and none of your friends are in Nighcago anymore.. It is a ghost town!"
Cross began crying, "But Dad!"
"GET OUT!"
