On our way to do some last minute stuff for the party Octavia spotted one of her and Vinyl's friends. A green unicorn with similar looking glasses like Vinyl has, but the lenses were red not purple. He also had a light blue mane and blue thingy with pockets covering were his cutie mark is.
" Verde Light hello! " then came over to where we were.
"Octavia how are you?"
"Great!".
This stallion was a bit taller than me and Octavia.
"Are you two on your way to finish setting up the party?"
"Yes we're going to help Vinyl finish up!"
He and Octavia talked a for a little bit then he turned to over me and introduced himself
"Hi my name is Verde Light I don't believe we've met before Miss...?"
" Derpy hooves!"
Then he asked me "Are you going to take someone with you to the party?"
After that I said nothing for two minutes and neither did He or Octavia . Then he took of his glasses or shades I don't really know what they were umm...... oh! back to topic , I'm guessing he took them off to see his expression, they were a weird dark red and I think he looked cute without his shades.
" Are you okay miss derpy?"
I didn't think he had manners being a party person like Vinyl
" Yes I'm fine, um no I don't really have anyone to go with."
" Well I have my roommate who has no one to go with either and he just wants someone to talk to other than me tonight, would you be interested for me to ask him to go with you?"
"Yes, tell him I would love to go with him."
" Great I'll go tell him about it and see what he says, see you two later and tell Vinyl I'm bringing the " juice boxes" ! "
" I don't know why he would bring juice boxes to a party that had a punch bowl"
" It's just something they love to drink."
"Oooh wonder if they would let me try some!"
"NO!, I mean it tastes absolutely awful you probably wouldn't like it."
Octavia sounded very suspicious but I just forgot all about it.
" Are you excited Derpy that you have somebody to go with?"
" Sure"
I admit that I was very nervous, I mean I had never even met the stallion before! When we got to the club where the party was going to be Vinyl was doing some songs for the party later that night.
" Hey Vinyl guess who just got a date for the party tonight?"
I'm guessing that Vinyl had no idea who Octavia was talking about, so Vinyl told Octavia
" You're cheating on me!? , but what about the sandwiches, the kisses, and the time we had S...."
" SHHHH! Vinyl I didn't mean me I meant Derpy."
" Oh, well who is she taking?"
" Verde Light told her that he would ask his roommate if she wanted someone to go with."
" He was in town today? "
" Yes and he said he would bring the " juice boxes " ."
" Oh yeah right! "
Then Vinyl turned to me.
" Sooooo Derpy how does it feel to have somebody to go with you?"
" I feel a little nervous."
" Don't worry you will be just fine."
" I hope you are right."
" Just be yourself, I'm sure you will have an awesome time! "
"This is a story about a mare who fell in love with.."
"What are you doing?"
"I am telling the story about you fell in love with the doctor."
"Why?'
"Well because...."
" You have no idea why? I guess I'll just tell it myself, but first we will have to send you back to wherever you came from."
"Why!? there really is no reason to and uh................... *stomach rumbles*"
"You sound really hungry, how about you go get something to eat."
"Thanks but I will be back to listen to the parts that I probably weren't there for."
"Ok, make sure you bring something back!"
"Alrighty then let me think...... Oh yeah! Hee hee I almost forgot what we I as going to talk about."
"This might be a very long story to tell and some things may be either forgotten or.......................... I don't know?"
I don't really know what I would call the first part of the story
Okay now that the narrator is off to go eat I think it is time to tell the story of how I met the Doctor and fell in love with him. I didn't really know him until my friend Vinyl Scratch's friend introduced me to him, but I will get to that part later. First let me tell you about what I was doing earlier the day that I met him. I was at home baking muffins for a party that Vinyl had planned and so many of our best friends were going to be there. Vinyl had asked me to make my best blueberry muffins. But it is just so difficult to focus my eyes while using a measuring cup so it would take a while. I think I will skip a little bit to the part when I put the muffins in the oven and took them out when they were done. Next I packed all of the muffins into a box and loaded them into a wagon.
" Now it is time to go to Vinyl's house."On my way there I saw Octavia coming out of a party shop.
" Hi Octavia! "
She turned around to reply " Hello Derpy, are you on your way to the party at our house? "
" Yeah I am bringing my blueberry muffins as the dessert."
" Oh good I was just getting some more balloons and cups because there weren't enough." Then I was going to ask Octavia how her relationship with Vinyl was going, but I felt uncomfortable to ask. But then I finally worked up the urge to.
" So how are you and Vinyl doing?"
" Well after the grand galloping gala we have been more honest with each other."
I am so glad I did not make Octavia feel uncomfortable!
After a few hours it was time to start the party, ponies were coming to the town hall in groups. I saw Twilight and her friends, Lyra and Bon Bon , and Carrot Top all show up to the party. They looked around with Vinyl's music playing , just standing in amazement of how great it all was.
Pinkie Pie came up to me
" You set up this amazing party without me!? How could you guys!? "
" We wanted to keep it a secret Pinkie so ponies would be surprised at how cool it is. "
" Oooooooooooooooooooh that makes a lot of sense now, well you guys have done a great job! "
Pinkie went to join twilight light and the rest of their friends on the dance floor more guests came in over the next few minutes.
Then from the front entrance comes Verde Light , looks around and sees me , and runs over to me faster in 2 seconds flat , way faster than Rainbow Dash can fly!
" Wow how in Celestia's name did you do that! "
" Oh that? I uh just exercise often."
" Really? you must be really strong."
" A little bit, Oh! yeah I almost forgot to say my friend said yes he's on his way right now.
" Oh my gosh!"
I was even more nervous than I was before because I didn't know what he would think about me and what he would be like.
" You're nervous aren't you? "
" A little. "
" Really? Tell me how nervous you are. "
" Ok very very nervous. "
" Don't worry he is super nice ."
" Thanks."
" Oh my god! "
" What's wrong? "
" I forgot to say he said he was going to bring his...."
Then by the front entrance I heard some pony's voice with an accent similar to Octavia's, but from a stallion say.
" Verde light ello over ere!"
It was him for sure, but next to him was a light blue mare with blue and white hair.
I thought to myself " He has a marefriend! "
