Forgotten Sisters

   "Blade," An white unicorn with straight orange and red mane and green eyes stared at her husband, an orange unicorn with a blue mane and tail and silver/blue eyes.

"Marigold, Celestia said she found two couple to take care of both of them, this is the only choice we have," Blade spoke quietly shedding a tear.

"But Blade, they can't live on their own without knowing their true parents and being separated from each other," Marigold sobbed levitating the crib towards her looking at her children.

   They were both twin sisters. One had orange fur (like her father) and the same mane as her mother with sea foam eyes. The other one had a white coat with a sea foam mane with aqua blue highlights and silver/dark blue eyes. They both were unicorns and were sleeping. Their mother's teardrops fell on them.

   "Marigold, would you rather have their lives shattered because they know we're gone or have them be happy with a family without us? If you choose the 2nd choice I'll be waiting for you in the castle ruins," Blade spoke trotting off, hanging his head down low.

Marigold looked at her children and gave them both kisses on their heads and walked slowly to the ruins, tears falling down her face.

Finally she got to the ruins of Celestia's castle. Marigold walked cautiously inside knowing all the secrets of the castle for she has been taught by Celestia here when she was just a filly. Blade stood waiting for her in the grand hall, his face full of seriousness and guilt.

"I see you made your decision now come on the Tree of Harmony is up in her room," Blade ordered and walked up the stairs slowly with Marigold behind.

It seemed like yesterday she ran up these stairs to see her old mentor Celestia.

Finally they got to Luna's room, a dark blue room covered with ashes but glistening on the balcony was a tiny tree made out of crystal growing to hold the to be retired Elements of Harmony. Seeming to communicate in a silent language, together their horns glowed and a white glow filled the room.

Marigold felt that she couldn't move but knew this would happen and continued conducting the spell. Finally the white glow stopped. In the room the Tree of Harmony was transported to another cave, already finished growing. The ghost of a draconequs flew into the room his eyes frantically looking for something that can free him if he destroyed it but the only thing he could find were the two statues of Marigold and Blade.
