We all know Princess Celestia controls the sun, Princess Luna controls the moon & dreams, Princess Cadence controls love, and Twilight Sparkle, though new, will soon control friendship, but these are the four of many Alicorns! Around all of Equestria, and in parts unknown, there are other Alicorns that control a single force &/or task that no regular Earth Pony, Unicorn, and Pegasus can do on their own. Many of these tasks & powers range from using a single element such as Earth, Fire, Wind, or Water, to more complex actions such as war, knowledge, and art. All of these Alicorns meet in one area, one that only the best of ponies go to after they die: Elysium!!!

Many of the backgrounds of Each Alicorn are told in a past perspective, which in itself is inspired from most mythologies, mostly the Greek Mythology. Not a whole lot of conflict in this story actually, more or less a 'get to know this character' type of thing, to when we find out more about the creation of some things & the Alicorn that controls it. This is also has a different origin story for Celestia, Luna, and Cadence on how they're 'born'.
