A good days work on the farm, and Applejack was ready to call it a night, but a falling Rainbow had other plans for her. This meeting was never meant to end in mere friendship. Dash's wings would see to that, but what does an earth pony with so much down to earth responsibility know of the wiles of wings?

It's all good, because Dash is known for her patience, planning, and foresight... Right? No? Well there goes that zing...

This story takes place before the MLP seasons start, and after season 4 premier when the mane six is returning from the Sisters Castle in the Everfree.

Written in collaboration and for a really good friend of mine who dared me to write something I never thought I could write about.
