//-------------------------------------------------------// Persona MLP: darkness -by Equestriasservant- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue: The contract //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue: The contract Waking up lying on a therapist sofa is never a good thing to have to do. You have no idea how irritating it is. Bloody typical I'd say. Absolutely, unavoidable typical. You're trying to do something really important to your day, which in my case, meant sleeping, ( yes I know but it's important to me!) when something comes along like this to ruin your life. Mind you, in this case, it kind of worked out in a way. (I'll explain what I mean in a future chapter.) But I digress. I was waking up on a therapists sofa. You know what those are right? Long comfy sofas that you can just sink into to forget all about your problems....just drift...away...ARGH I'M DOING IT AGAIN! I always do this when I trying to tell a story. I go on and on and on in an endless loop of gibberish. Uh...man I hate telling stories. I really do. Anyway, where was I? Why on earth did I just ask the audience if they. Knew where I had stopped in the story? It not as if I can see or even hear what any of them have to say. Damn it, now I have to go through all the notes I made on this stupid adventure just to see if I can find where I left off. Ah ha! Waking up on therapists sofa in a blue room. Did I mention that the room was blue? Yep a really deep, rich Navy blue colour, with soft lighting, possibly to provide a sense of relaxation and peace. A woman's voice was vocalising in the background. Looking around did nothing to help me see where the voice was coming from. I don't think I ever did find out where that voice came from. It's a shame really, whoever was singing was bloody good at it. Could've made a fortune singing opra Ah well, no sense reminiscing about it now. You wanna hear about the story. Yeah, this beautiful room was empty, apart from two people sitting to my left. One was a small, hunched over old man, wearing a black, fancy looking suit and a women, visiting up straight and tall, dressed in a strange outfit that could possibly have been a skirt and a combat jacket combined. It was the same navy blue colouring a the rest of the room. ( yeah I know, they kinda went overboard on the colouring.) Damn, that guy was freaking ugly. I actually remember sniggering to myself the first time I laid eyes on the dude. He was just so...so...ugly. I dunno how else to describe him really. His ears stuck out like he was, I dunno an elf or something. His mouth was stretched almost from ear to war, in a wide smile, which showed off his pearly white teeth. You think that's creepy enough? Don't answer that. Anyway, no that wasn't the only creepy thing about this guy. His eyes were round, freaking wide as saucers and bloodshot so badly, you would've thought that the guy had never shut his eyes. The pupils were mere pinpricks for crying out loud. I mean who on earth wouldn't be creepy out by that? ( seriously you don't need to answer these questions) the nose on this guy though! You've seem a standard ruler right? You know how long a normal one of them is? Well, that is how long this guys nose was. I kid you not. Major plastic surgery needed right about now right? Heh...I shouldn't make jokes. The woman next to him, was an absolute babe. Tall and muscular, with long silvery blonde hair, she stared at me with an intensity reinforced by her piercing golden eyes. I felt both excited by her and terrified at the same time. "Hello and welcome to the velvet room." And of course the the long nosed man talks to me first. I never get any lucky breaks with girls. Pretty pathetic huh? Despite his wrinkled face suggesting an lot of years, his voice was deep and young. I just stayed silent watching the pair of them closely. The man produced a red leather bound booklet and opened it. Inside was what appeared to be, a simple looking contract document. "Only those who have forged a contract of some sort can enter this room." The long nosed man said holding the thing out to me. I saw the place to mark my name under the phrase: "I hereby agree to all the consequences that my actions may bring to me or any pony around me." Ignoring the wierd grammar in the text I took hold,of the document and wrote my name down, not bothering to read the fine print as you should. ( funnily enough I don't even remember using a pen, my name just sort of appeared) when the long nosed man took the document back it folded up and disappeared right out of his long-fingered hands. "It would seem that you have a most unusual destiny." The man said leaning over. "I am most interested to see how this will play out. We'll travel the road of your destiny together. Till then farewell." The man lent back and closed his eyes. Then the music, the lighting and even the colour began to fade away to blackness. As I lost what resembled conciousness, I heard a soft voice calling out. "Oh my celestia, w-w-what is this thing. I-I-it's bleeding. H-H-HELP, SOMEPONY HELP!" Author's Note Hey there. Well a simple start to my first ever story here. Hope it sounds okay and if any of dosnt make any sense then ask me for an explaination. This story will contain some spoilers for the persona series but hopefully not to many. Hope you find it intersting :) Jay Ps: I don't mlp or the persona series //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: It's awake //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: It's awake Twilight Sparkle sighed as, once again, some-pony banged on the door to the Golden Oaks library. This was getting out of hoof. Since the purplish unicorn had come to Pony-ville and found lodgings at the library, every-pony who decided to come and visit took it to mean that they should knock. "Honestly,'' the unicorn groaned, padding over to the door. "this is a Library you know..." just as she gripped the handle to open the door, said door banged open. Standing in the doorway, was the gasping form of her pegasus friend Fluttershy. The yellow pegasus was covered in sweat and her pink hair was slicked back to her forehead. "Twilight...help!" the pegasus gasped falling to the floor in exhaustion. Twilight's magenta magic enveloped the exhausted pony, tidying her fur. "Fluttershy, what in Equestria is wrong?" Fluttershy picked herself up and gripped twilight's foreleg with her own. "No time twilight. You have to co e help me, NOW!" Before the purple unicorn could utter another word, she was dragged out of the library by the usually timid Pegasus. Fluttershy's speed didn't slow until they reached the outskirts of Ponyville, where the Pegasus lived. Finally, the duo stopped. Twilight gave a sigh of relief as she finally came to a stop. She had been dragged through the streets of ponyville, collecting dust and dirt all over her body. Her mane was fairing no better. The magenta colouring had been replaced with the brown of the dusty road, with the mane itself having been swept back by the force of her being pulled along. Taking a minute to tidy herself up with magic, the unicorn glared coldly at Fluttershy. "WHAT was that for?!" Twilight demanded. Fluttershy blushed. "S-S-Sorry about that Twilight. I f-found t-t-this creature by the side of my house. Some of my critter friends brought it inside b-but I need some help with finding out about it." Twilight sighed. she couldn't argue with one of her friends needing help. "where is this...creature then? The pegasus pushed the front door open, to reveal the creature. It was lying spread-eagled over fluttershy's sofa. The creature had a long slightly gangly body, with only two long legs and no hooves. Instead, a pair of what appeared to be monkey's paws only slightly longer with barley any fur. A muscular torso with muscular arms. Twilight thought that they looked like her assistant Spike's arms, except a bit longer and with no scales. Instead of a mane, silvery black hair covered the top of its head. A reddish tinged bandage covered the forehead. Covering the creates ling legs was a pair of blackish trousers. Hanging from a chair was a simply made but badly torn black jacket. A whitish mass of cloth lay on the floor. "What's that?" Twilight asked, stepping up to the creatures side. Fluttershy sidled up to her. "It was w-wearing t-that over it's top half. I h-had to take it off to bandage its injuries." Covering the creatures chest in a cross-cross pattern was indeed a swath of bandages. What wasn't covered was pale creamy skin, with short patches of what appeared to be hair. Twilight shook her head. "I'm...I'm sorry Fluttershy but I have absolutely no idea what this is. Where did you say you found it?" Fluttershy shrugged, making her hair bounce. "I-it was just lying outside in the grass twilight." Twilight was about to ask another question, when a groan coming from between them left them frozen. Slowly, they turned to face the creature. Its head had rolled to the side. It's eyes fluttered open. A pair of deep, brownish green eyes stared at them. Fluttershy jumped and hid behind twilight. Twilight on the other hand simply moved backwards, bumped into fluttershy and fell back onto her behind. The creature stared at them, seemingly surprised. "H-hello there." The creature said. The two ponies exchanged looks then stared back at the creature. It frowned. "H-Hello?" It asked again. Twilight finally regained enough mental composure to reply. "Um...hello there." She said. The creatures eyes widened. " Holy crap, TALKING PONIES," Twilight froze then glanced at Fluttershy. This would be a long, long day. Author's Note Finally the first chapter is up. Took me a while to write it up. It's not the best chapter but this is my first endeavour on here so please cut me some slack ok? Thanks I don't own MLP or the characters associated with it.
