  Ace was abruptly woken up by a loud noise that he was sure was going through the entire school, but as he woke up he realized it was someone speaking

Rise and Shine! Its 7:00!!

  For a moment Ace hoped he was only dreaming about the ordeal, until he noticed the iron plate nailed into a window.

" It was all real..." he murmured, getting out of his bed and grabbing his glasses. He opened the closet and pulled out clothes that MonoColt probably got from his house, or just made them appear.  Ace went to his bathroom, brushed his teeth, took a shower, and combed his hair before putting on the clothes and headed to the cafeteria. Everyone was eating hay bacon and eggs. As Ace sat down he was greeted by several hellos.

"Looks like you were right about seeing us all today." Blossom commented with a smile but then Ace realized something. Not all the students were there. only 14 students were there.

"Guys....Cloud's not here." Flam quoted and everyone froze.

"Neither is Carrot Top!" Caramel called out, the students began to panic.

"Guys there's a little fair set up in the back of the school!" everyone spun around to see Flame hovering in the hallway. Everyone got up and followed him to the back.

"Guys? What if....Someone...murdered them." Trixxie asked, now worried for her safety. But when they reached the yard they saw a carousel, broken and beaten. Ace walked around the carousel only to be met with a terrible sight.

   Cloud was sprawled on the ground, blood dripping from his head. But what was above him was even more terrifying.

   It was Carrot Top, hanging from the top of the carousel by a leather noose around her neck. Her fingers were stuck underneath the pink stained rope as if she had attempted to free herself.  Her side was impaled by a loose object. Her eyes were wide and glazed as she stared at Ace with dead green eyes. In front of the whole disaster sat Cloud, unconscious and his hands were covered in blood.

"Cloud!" Ace yelled and everyone ran to him, only to see the disaster.

"C-Carrot Top!" several people gasped and there was a groaning from Cloud.

"A-Ace?" Ace leaned down and helped his friend up.

"W-What happened Ace?" Ace helped Cloud up, blood dripping onto Cloud's already bloody shirt.

"I thought it would take forever for you to kill someone!" and everyone spun around to see MonoColt grinning like a happy moron.

"What did you do to her!?" Caramel snapped, attempting to grab at MonoColt but was held back by Flam.

"What's the point of the Class Trial if I will kill you myself? Were's the fun in that?" MonoColt asked with a cocked eyebrow.

Makes sense Ace thought to himself It probably is more entertaining to watch someone kill someone who trusted them

"So. We'll have a Class Trial at 12:00 in the gym." MonoColt said, still grinning like a idiot.

"Class Trial?" Trixie asked and MonoColt groaned

"You amatures are gonna investigate and try to find out who killed Carrot Top. If you find the one who killed her they get executed! But if you choose the wrong one. They get the right to leave and you all bite the bullet!" With that, MonoColt vanished.

"Guess we begin investigating?" Flash suggested and everyone nodded turning to Cloud

"Do you want help?" Vinyl asked and Cloud shook his head.

"I-I can walk.." but as he attempted to walk he staggered "S-Sorta." he muttered and Vinyl walked over

"I'll help you. Don't want you falling and getting yourself killed right?" Cloud nodded and a smile creased his face

"yeah. Thanks." and the two headed to the dorms.

Ace stared at the body before walking around to the side. Carrot Top's side was apparently pierced through by what looked like a mangled board.

"So it looks like that caused the most damage." Ace said and Lightning nodded

"But...How did someone get her-up there?" Lightning asked and pointed at the top of the carousel.

"I don't know. We'll find out later." and Ace continued the search.
