Reluctantly sent off to improve means of commerce on an offshore territory, a pony accustomed to Canterlot comforts must brave an environment completely foreign to him, and full of dangers.
In an undesirable assignment, a Canterlot pony accustomed to modern comforts is faced with the unknown and uninviting environment of one of Equestria's tropical offshore territories. The problems with trade and commerce are too long to list but before he can even start solving them he has to survive the trip there first.
