The Chaotic Deal

It was a calm and peaceful day in Canterlot, Celestia's sun shining brightly in the sky and ponies going about their dayly lives in serenity. A lot more harmonious than it was only a month ago, when Discord turned everything into a disorderly, chaotic mess.

If one were to go into the Canterlot Statue Gardens, they would find the very draconequus as a stone statue once more. However, if one were to look closely at the statue, they would see it beginning to crack and crumble. A deep chuckle could clearly be heard by anyone nearby as the statue completely shattered, freeing the Lord of Chaos once more.

Discord stretched and turned a tree into a lollipop and grabbed two of the statues, positoning them in such a way that they looked like they were humping each other. With a giddy laugh, he flew off towards the castle, turning invisible and going right through the wall.

He saw the Mane Six with the princesses and their cousin and Chiaroscuro, who had her eyes shut and seemed to be consentrating on a spell. Her horn was glowing intensely and she seemed to be struggling with the spell.

"That's it Oscuro, consentrate, you almost have it." Celestia said.

Discord smirked wickedly and flew up behind Oscuro, summoning a balloon and a needle. He brought the balloon to his mouth and filled it before moving it next to the mare's ears, shoving the needle in it and creating a loud pop. Oscuro shreiked and her spell popped like a bubble.

Discord, being unable to control himself, turned visible and burst out laughing. The mares turned to him in shock, Oscuro scowling at him with a growl.

"Oh come now Chiaroscuro, don't be like that!" He said, picking her up with a chuckle.

"Discord! Put her down!" Celestia shouted. "Twilight Sparkle, get the Elements!"

"I wouldn't bother Celestia." He dropped Oscuro and snapped his fingers, the box containing the Elements appearing  in his hands. "I already have them, but you're not getting them. I'll make sure of that." Using his magic, he levitated the Elements in separate bubbles. He smirked at the mares as the Elements floated up, suddenly shooting off in different directions.

"DISCORD!!!" Luna shouted in the Canterlot voice. "WHAT HAS THOU DONE!!!? WHERE ARE THE ELEMEN-MMMPH!!!"

"Quiet down Luna. You don't want to set off the guards do you?" Discord sighed, making duct tape cover her mouth. "If you must know, I scattered th Elements all over Equestria, so good luck finding them!" He floated up and laughed. "If you need me I'll be at you old castle in the Everfree Forest. Toodles!"

He teleported away before they could say anything else and they looked at each other.

"What are we gonna do?" Fluttershy asked worriedly.

"We find the Elements of course." Twilight said.

"No..." They all looked at Oscuro in shock. "By the time we find the first Element, he'd have ripped apart Equestria... we'll have a better chance going to the castle and fighting him."

"What!?" Rainbow Dash shreiked. "You're kidding right? There's no way you're serious! You got to be seriously stu-"

"She has a point..." Applejack stated. "There's no way we can find the Elements without everypony else suffering."

"I simply must agree with Applejack and Oscuro." Rarity joined in. "We may have no other choice but to confront Discord."

The conversation carried on until they all agreed, which was hard because it was difficult to sway Luna, Twilight, and Rainbow, but they finally managed to do so and teleported to Everfree.

Discord smirked as the mares appeared in the room where the Elements were before Nightmare Moon was defeated. They all glared at him and as Twilight's horn glowed for an attack, he snapped his fingers, making their horns and wings disappear.

"Well, that wasn't very long, now was it?" He asked, crossing his arms. "What, do you honestly think you can take me without the Elements?"

"Even if we don't have the Elements, we will do anything in our power to protect Equestria." Celestia said.

Discord's eyes trailed over all of the mares, coming to a stop on Oscuro, and he smiled slyly.

"Anything, eh?" He raised an eyebrow to Celestia. "Well, I'll cut you a deal. I'll returned the Elements and leave Equestria untouched in return for two things."

Celestia's eyes widened in surprise and she looked at him, definitely not expecting that response. Even though it probably wasn't a smart thing to do, she couldn't help but hear him out.

"Very well." She said with a sigh. "What are your demands?"

"Well, for the Elements, I'd like my freedom..." He chuckled. "No turnng me back to stone, no keeping me locked in the castle, and no keeping a close eye on me."

"Alright then..." Celestia nodded. "And for Equestria...?"

At theis, his smirk returned. "Oscuro..."

"E-excuse me?" Celesta asked. "Did I just here you correctly?"

"Yeah, did you just say you wanted Oscuro?!" Rainbow shouted at him.

"Yes I did..."" He stated.

"Explain." Luna said.

"Well, while chaos is a rather fun, it can get rather lonely without anypony to enjoy it." He brought his eyes back to Chiaroscuro, who seemed to be in her own little world. "And what company is better than that of a beautiful mare?"

"You must be insane!" Rarity yelled. "Why else would you thing that Oscuro would go with you?"

The other mares began to murmur in agreement as they glared a him.

"Enough!" The talking stopped and they all looked at Oscuro, who sighed. "just... enough..." She looked at the other mares. "I'm sorry, but it's not your choice to make, it's mine."

"Quite right Oscuro." Discord said, holding his paw out to Oscuro. "So, Chiaroscuro, what do you say?"

"Oscuro..." Fluttershy said softly.

"I'm sorry Fluttershy..." Oscuro sighed and she hugged her best friend. "But I have to do this..." She turned back to Discord and placed her hoof in his paw. "Alright Discord, for Equestria, I will go with you..."

"Splendid." He scooped her up bridal style and snapped his fingers, the Elements of Harmony appearing as they teleported away. "Arrivederci!"
