Amongst the many celebrations in Equestria, the Memorial Day is one that is far from joyous, but rather a reminder, of what have become of us and where are we heading. But also it's an opportunity to honor the dead, and the causes by which they left us.
For some particular families, nonetheless, this is more than a mere grim mark in the calendar, for all of them have been brought to the same place, at the same time by something more inevitable than death.
