Meeting and  missing war ship

December 22,2552

It's been two days since the UNSC and S.E met the princesses.they all were wearing clothes that meant to be used in military meeting or formal gathering.

Marshall was wearing the traditional marines issue uniform with three medals and his ranks on his shoulder and on his collar.Viper was a custom made uniform that is dark blue with gold trimming around the collar and in the middle of his jacket.his commander ranks are neatly polished and put on without a scratch.his uniform has six medals and two sets of ribbons.the sangheili sended in Ripa  Moramee, a diplomat elected to go to the meeting.As they head towards the hangar,they saw a pelican with 4 ODST and 2 Elite honor guard that are escorting them to Canterlot. As they boarded the pelican,it lifted off to go to the meeting.After a while,they felt the drop ship stopping and the ramp lowering. As the ramp stop,they said they were in a city that's made out of marble.The Three diplomats  made their way to the castle;some nobles couldn't help but to look at them,since they were dressed better than them,but turned away after a few seconds.in about 15 minutes, they found the castle that has guards waiting for them.as they reach the gate one guard walked to them.

"The princesses asked us to escort you to the meeting,please follow us."the guard said.as tgey enter the castle,they all  were fascinated by how beautiful the castle was made. They neared two large golden doors,which was opened by two royal guards.when they entered they saw Griffin,Minotaur and dragons sitting around  a large tables.as they took their seats,Viper saw Luna looking at him,when she looked into his eyes,she immediately looked away with a small blush on her face.

Viper shrugged it off and sat down with Marshall and the field marshal.As. Viper scanned the room,he saw the six civilians that he met two days ago.as Celestia cleared her throat,getting everypony and everyone attention.

"Thank you for coming on a short notice."Celestia said to  the other leaders.

"We Minotaur don't mind coming,but did you have to invite the feather brains to this meeting?"Steel thunder,the minotaur leader asked Celestia.this pissed off the Griffin

""At least we don't act like savages when it comes to drinking!"Swiftclaw said.this caused the entire room to be thrown into chaos.Celestia and Luna tried to calm everypony down,but to no avail.

*crack*

All of them covered their ears when that happened,they all looked for the source of the noise until they saw Viper holding a pistol in the air.Viper put the weapon away and calmly said.

"How about saving your bickering for later and Show some respect to those who invited you."

"What in Tartarus are you?!?" Steelclaw yelled at viper.

"I am Commander Viper and this is Captain Marshall of the UNSC and UEG."Viper said with pride.

"I am field marshal Ripa  Moramee of the Sangheili empire."Ripa said with the same amount of pride.

"Well for starters, i am Swiftclaw of the Griffin kingdom."Steelclaw said with a smug tone.

"And i am  Steel thunder of the minotaur kingdom."Steel thunder said.

As they went through the introduction,Celestia started to continue where she stopped at.as she was giving her speech,Viper keep getting a feeling of someone looking at him,He looked at the ponies until he saw Luna looking at him with dream like eyes.

'Jeez why is she looking at me like that?'Viper thought

'Maybe because you don't treat us like royalty' a female voice said in his head.

'Who said that!?!'Viper thought frantically. He heard giggling in his head and it spoke

'Don't worry, it Luna."Luna said in Viper.

'Okay, now that's out of the way,why are you looking at me?'Viper asked

' I-i don't know what you're talking about.'She said stumbling her words.

'Let's talk after the meeting okay?'Viper said.

He saw Luna nod.after Celestia finished up he went to the center of room.Viper started talking about the UNSC and how it was formed.It was originally called UN in the 20th century until the 23rd century,when slip space drives were made and put into ships allowing for colonization of multiple worlds.they all were surprised about that.when the Griffin leader asked Viper what their military was like,he gave them a history about how humanity fights for different reasons, like during the crusades during the 12th century and WW2, they were mortified on how many people die when war started.then he got to the recent war that Humanity fought.

The 'elites',as a ODST said,were part of a hegemony called the Covenant. on February 4, 2525 Harvest, a agriculture planet communication went offline, had first contact with the covenant. the meeting went without a hitch until a nervous grunt shot a militia soldier, causing a firefight between the two, then they aliens went back to their fleet.the leader of the covenant, Prophet of Regret, Mercy and Truth, declared humans a disgrace to their gods, the Forerunner, and declared a 'holy crusade' against Humanity, which later was turned into a genocidal campaign.for the last 27 years, humanity fought and lost planet after planet against the Covenant war machine in order to buy Earth, humanity home world, enough time to find a way secure their species survival.. as the war started, FLEET-COM asked  vice admiral Preston Cole to come out of retirement to help against the genocidal aliens, in which he agreed. after given the biggest fleet back then, he attacked the fleet of covenant ships over harvest. Cole would get back Harvest, but only after five years of fighting off and on the planet. He would then attack evey Covenant fleet, stopping them from destroying any planets, with the cost of his ships and theirs, he would racked victory after victory, until is death after destroying a gas planet to destroy a fleet of estimated 400 ships. then came along commander Jacob Keyes, who showed bravery and audacity when outnumbered and out gunned, for example, during the battle of sigma octanus 4, in which he destroyed 4 ships and forcing the rest to flee all without the help of a A.I. which was dubbed 'the Keyes loop'. As every world was burned to nothing but glass and ash, humanity fought for every inch of soil, destroying the places they once called home.

On August, after 27 years of fighting, the covenant find Reach, a fortress world resting at the doorsteps of Earth. for a month the UNSC

fought bravely to buy Earth more time to turn the war into their favor, but was eventually glassed . On october 20, 2552 the Covenant finally found earth. for the last two months, the fleet guarding earth and soldiers on the ground fought the covenant, testing their very bounds.near the end of the war,a small rebellion started,but as it started it was crushed.then the Prophets declared the elites heretic and a civil war started, called the great schism.this lead to humanity victory over a forerunner installation called the ark.as the battle draw near a close,the Prophet of Truth activated the remaining halo array ,but was killed by the arbiter,ending the war.as the ship was about to head back to Earth,three brutes corvettes attacked them and damaging their drive stranding them here.when Viper gave them the amount of people died, they were mortified. Over 15 trillion people died from the prophets who lied to the covenant. After that Celestia asked

"Are your species going to cause any conflict with our or any other kind on Equis?"

As the three diplomats said no Celestia allows them to have a base near Ponyville and  have trade of goods.as the meeting was over,Ripa receive a message,which shocked him.He told the other two diplomats and they ran to the front gate.they saw the Divine Retribution flying 25 miles in the air, also having a UNSC ship with them.as the name was in view,they were wide-eye by it.The name read 'U.N.S.C. Everest.
