Spitfire, will you marry me?
It was a bright and sunny day, the birds were out and the flowers were in bloom. Soarin, as he lays on his bed, he was thinking about something. He was about to take his friendship with Spitfire to the next level. "what if she doesn't like me in the same way, or if she end the friendship because this was too personal..... NO, she wont do that, shes a loyal friend and we have been friends ever sence like foalhood." He thinks to himself.
Soarin walks downstairs to the fridge to get something to eat. As he does, he was thinking about where and when to ask Spits. "Hmmm, where should we go? How about 'Take in and Out'? Thats a fairly good restaurant I've heard and its kinda new. That is where we shall go." Soarin said pridefully. "I'll just eat this.... stuff. What even is this?" He said as he looked at the greenish slop. "Ehh, never mind i'm not hungry."
"Well, I still got some time. I'll just go and watch YouTube or the TV to pass the time."
He grabbed the remote and went channel searching. "Why! There is nothing good on!" Soarin shouted to himself. "Aww well, at least I got YouTube."
Soarin grabbed his iPad and went on YouTube. He was about to go watch pie videos, but he actually wanted some advice. So he searched up 'how to propose to the mare of your dreams'.
10 MINUTES OF VIDEOS LATER
"All they say is to be yourself and tell her your feelings, but I don't know what she'll think of what I have say. Ok, I seriously need to stop worrying. Its about 3:00 so I might as well go to her place."
15 MINUTES LATER
"Ok, here I am." Said Soarin under his breath as he knocked on her door.
"What do yo- oh heya Soar whats up?" Spitfire asked in a cheery tone.
"Oh, nothin' Spits. So I was wondering ya know how we haven't seen each other in a while so I was thinking maybe we can go out to a restaurant just to talk and schtuff?"
"Hmm well, I don't have anything better to do so yeah lets do that." Spitfire responded. "Is it formal?"
"Pshh, nah. Its just normal thing." Soarin replied.
"Ok, so why don't we just go now?"
"Ehh, I guess well just go now."
"Alrighty, RACE YA" Spitfire yelled as she flew out the door.
"Spitty, wait!!" Soarin yelled as he chased after her.
5 MINUTES LATER
"Ha, I beat you BOOM IN JO FACE!!" Spitfire bragged.
"Ugh, well were here so lets just go in." Soarin said with a defeated look on his face.
As they walked in, they both saw fans but they weren't up for questions so they just said that they were not here to talk. So they went to the waitress.
"Hello, welcome to Take in and Out. How may I help you?" The waitress asked.
"Were here to eat. A table for two." Said Soarin.
"Ok just follow me." Said the waitress.
Soarin and Spitfire was shown to there table and they sat down.
"Ok, just let me know when you're ready to order." Said the waitress as she walked off.
"Ok, so Soarin. Why did you want me to be here with you?" Spitfire asked with a bit of suspicion in her voice.
"Just for dinner and... A surprise."
"Oh, what kind of surprise!!!!" Spitfire asked egarly.
"Oh, you'll see." Soarin said sheepishly.
"Oh waitress were ready to order now!" Spitfire yelled to the waitress pony.
"Ummm Spits."
"What?"
"I haven't decided yet hehe."
"Well too bad Soar. Ya snooze ya loose bruh. I'll decide for you." Spitfire said as she chuckled evilly to herself.
"Haha very funny." Soarin said quietly to himself.
"what was that?"
"Um nothing."
As they both ordered (well spitfire ordered lol) Soarin was thinking about the perfect way to approach Spit on such a sensitive subject that she could say no to. So after 15 minutes or so, Spitfire would hopefully be his fiancee. He had bought a really expensive diamond ring. It was pure gold with two gems. A diamond and ruby. He was going to ask.
"So umm Spitty, can I tell you something?." Soarin asked nervously.
"I dunno, depends.." Spitfire kidded with Soarin. Soarin looked devastated. "Soar, I'm messin with ya. tell me, im all ears." Said Spitfire with a reassuring grin.
"Well, Spitfire. Ever sense i meet you as a young colt, I wasn't into the 'dating' thing. But I had to admit, you were beautiful. And now were in the wonderbolts together and were partners, I couldn't be happier. We are so close to each other and especially because we've been dating. And I know im kinda a dork, well maybe im a big dork with a pie obsession. Im also not the fastest pony in the wonderbolts but with the best stamina. I was just so in love with you. Your beautiful, fast, funny, outgoing, and nice when you're not training ponies. And i wanted to ask you." Soarin knelt in front of Spitfire. "Spitfire, will you marry me?"
Spitfire looked like she was gonna burst, either of laughter or tears.
"Soarin, I knew you liked me but not in this way.Spitfire looked like she was gonna say no. "Soarin, I will marry you."
By the time the whole restaurant was just staring at the when Soarin knelt down but now they were cheering and clapping as loud as they can. All the fans were taking videos and photos and sending them to social sites.
"I love you Soarin."
"I love you too, Spitfire."
Soarin and Spitfire were in a longing kiss. All the ponies were like AWWW and some like EWW, but they didn't care. They were together and thats all that mattered.
"Well Spit. What do we do know?"
"Well Soar its more like where. Your house where we can talk about future and things.... hehe" Spitfire said with her usual wit.
"Ok, lets go."
