Dusk is a human from the future. His real name lost to him, he was experimented on and remade into a killer. His only solace was television, especially one show in particular: My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic.
After a, questionably tragic, accident, Dusk is sent to a more technologically advanced Equestria, where things are very different. Unfortunately, there are forces that wish to see Equestria and her neighbors at war with each other, and Dusk must use the very skills he loathes to prevent that from happening.
