One starry night, two ponies sat on top of a grassy hill to watch a meteor shower. One of them is royalty and a hero of Equestria, who didn't really want to be there. The other is an unlucky former cultist, who thought his life was only ever filled with failure.

But tonight, they would find that they were very wrong, and they wouldn't mind at all.
