Chapter 1: ah ain't lonely!
The main six without Applejack, sat in the castle talking, along their side sat their husbands, their kids were playing in Jupiter and Comet Star's room.
"I'm serious, Ruby and Sapphire never lets us have 'us' time anymore" Rarity whined, she and Fancy Pants had been married for 5 years now, and after getting Ruby, their oldest daughter, a white unicorn with blue and Purple mane and the cutie mark of a Ruby. And Sapphire, a white unicorn with only blue mane and the cutie mark of a sapphire. Their life had been so much more.
"Oh yeah! Well Thunder never let me alone, he is all like "mom teach me that, teach me that" he never gives up!" Rainbow said, Soarin giggled, he remembered that Thunder would wake them up early in the morning to fly somewhere. Thunder was dark blue pegasus with Rainbow colored mane, his mane was much like his dad's, his cutie mark was a thunder cloud with a buch of lighting coming out.
"Don't be to hard on him Dash, he just loves his mom" Soarin said, wrapping his wing around her.
Rainbow smiled at him, "yeah, but he never bugs you!" She said.
"Oh he does! Believe me!"
"Well, Jupiter wants me to teach him so much about magic, he wakes me up at four in the morning. And comet Star wants Flash to teach her how to fly, she wants to be like him" Twilight said, smiling at Flash, who kissed her on the forehead. Jupiter was an orange unicorn with blue and purple mane, his cutie mark was a galaxy with stars and planets. Comet Star was and purple pegasus with orange and pink mane, she was still too young to have her cutie mark.
"What about you Fluttershy? How is you ad Mac doing?" They all turned to the pair at the end of the table. The two quite ponies looked at each other and smiled.
"Well, they are all doing well. Applesky just got her cutie mark, turns out she is really a good cook. Flutter Leaf is getting her own garden outside the house and Flutter Apple just learned how to take a loop in the air." Fluttershy said with a warm smile.
"Eeyup" Big Mac smiled.
"What about you Pinkie?" Fluttershy smiled.
"We have been busy! With the kids and all the parties, and.... And!" Pinkie ran out of beath, she took deep breaths as she tried to stay calm. Cheese gently patted her on the back and smiled.
"The kids have almost made her pass out from stress multiple times, especially Lollipop, Jelly, Bubblegum and Mint" Cheese said hugging Pinkie gently. Lollipop was pink earth pony with dark pink and white striped mane and her cutie mark was a lollipop. Jelly was a yellow earth pony with Pink and green mane and her cutie mark was a plate with jelly. Bubblegum was pink pegasus with brown mane and Mint was green unicorn with white mane and small brown dots in it. All of their kids had big bouncy hair and mane. Non of them knew where the green and white came from nither did they know where the unicorn and pegasus came from, but it had to be longer up in their family.
"But thats all your kids?!" Rarity pointed out.
"Oh, I know"
Then they all laughed hard. After some time with just laughing Twilight noticed something. "Hey have anypony seen Applejack? I haven't seen her in months!" she said.
"Yeah! I haven't seen her in a while!" Rainbow said.
Big Mac sighed "she's been..... Uh..... Busy" he said, the others looked at him a little shocked, it was rare that he spoke.
"Uh, what you mean busy?" Rarity asked.
He sighed again "she's..... Losing it...." He sighed again, this time a sad sigh.
"Losing it?" Twilight asked.
"We went to visit her yesterday, she's... Well.... Overworking.... Again." Fluttershy finished for her husband, she knew that he didn't like to talk unless it was needed.
"We should talk to her!" Twilight said rising from the table. The others nodded and followed her out to Sweet Apple Acers. Big Mac was the olny one of the guys that went with them, the others stayed behind the watch the kids.
As they walked down the path to Sweet Apple Acers they saw Applejack working, she was pulling a wagon full of apples into the barn. It was clearly that she was overworking. Her mane was messy hair phair sticking out of everywhere, sweat dripping down her body, and her fur sticking together. She had bags under her bloodshot eyes, and her hooves was cracked. Finally she noticed them.
"Howdy ya'll! What's ya doing over here?" She asked, her voice even cracked.
"Applejack, we know what's going on... Talk!" Twilight said firm.
"Oh okay, nice weather we're having and wait?! What the hay, ah got work to do. Sorry but ah need to know what ya'll are here for so ah can get back to work." Applejack said firm she was almost yelling, but her cracked voice cept her down.
"We know your overworking, and I have a theory. You're lonely and tries to make the time pass by working." Twilight finished stomping her front hoof on the ground.
"Ah ain't lonely! Ah just need to work" Applejack finished and began to walk away, as well did the others
"We're coming back until you speak" Twilight said to the others as they left the farm.
"Thanks for trying Miss Twilight" Big Mac said.
As Applejack's friends where out of sight Applejack sighed "ah am lonely, ah wish ah could be some them." She stepped into the barn, where a mirror stood, she looked herself over in it "ah wish ah was pretty" she wished, she slowly walked over to a pile of hay and fell asleep crying, she felt so alone, so unloved, so ugly.
