Chapter Zero: The fun has begun

The only sounds that could be heard down the dark hallway.The occasional breeze coming though the broken windows but today was different further into the ruins of the castle was a big library chock full of ancient books but behind a bookshelf in the corner held a secret behind this bookshelf was a staircase and yes I know this is cliché but its still cool anyway down there is a giant blue crystal with a figure in it.

I've been stuck in this crystal for god knows how long, just staring straight ahead into the dark room. My name used to be Ben but I changed it to fit my new life so my name is Sonic, Sonic the hedgehog and well I'm bored cause been trapped in a crystal kind of stops all ability to run but I wasn't always a hedgehog so let me tell you of my past.
~Flashback to the past~
I've prepared for this moment for roughly Two years, planning this trip to Comic-Con down in London plus I had to meet up with one of my best friends Fabian. We've been planning on going but keeping our costume a secret until we meet up at the ticket booth.
" I'm waiting to the left of the entrance." I replied to Fabian over the phone.
I'm dressed as sonic the hedgehog, one of my favourite heroes from my childhood.
I had dyed my hair blue and spiked it backwards and wore the same shoes as the speedster and the same gloves nobody could forget the gloves, anyway I wore a simple blue T-shirt with a cream patch in the stomach and blue trousers.
"Ben is that you" said a voice to my right
I turn and look to my right and blink, right in front of me was someone dressed as Alucard from Hellsing. He wore Alucard's usual outfit which is comprised mainly in a classic Victorian fashion, including a charcoal suit, leather riding boots, and a flamboyant, intricately knotted red cravat, covered by a full-length, red frock overcoat and his fedora, he also had his trademark gloves.
"Wow Fabian you've outdone yourself" I said while chuckling to myself
"Well yeah your supposed to look cool" said Fabian with so much enthusiasm
"Yeah, Yeah anyway onwards!" I shout while pointing forward
~Equestria: Present~
Crack Crunch Crack
Come on so close.
The big blue crystal cracked but it still held strong
Well that was anti-climatic.
~Back to the flash~
After Fabian and I went to some of the events we started to look at the stalls which were a plenty to look around but what caught my eye was a blue chaos emerald and three gold rings from the Sonic games series, so I do what any fan would do and hastily make my way over and buy it.
"Ah, such a keen eye you have there" said a old creepy voice came from behind me which like any normal person does jumps and let out a manly scream
"sorry for scaring you young one" said the same voice
I turn and see a hooded man with I kid you not glowing red eyes, I was about to turn an leave when I remembered that i wanted to buy the Sonic items.
"Kid, I'll sell that to you for thirty pounds as an apology " the hooded man nicked named demon guy by yours truly.
" you've got a deal" I say quickly while handing him the money and collecting the items and turn a to leave and heard Good luck speedster
I went to look for Fabian and I looked and I looked and just remembered that I have a phone and went to phone him when I noticed the chaos emerald started floating and a massive flash took over my vision.

Crack...Crack BOOM
The crystal smashed into millions of blue crystal flakes and crouched on the ground was a blue hedgehog
"Now that was a dramatic return"
