Little Bright, who has recently fallen ill, is coming to regret what his life has become. A pegasus who was once a member of the Royal Guard, protectors of the princesses and all of Equestria, should never find himself in such a position. But a visit from his niece and nephew could be just what Bright needs to get his hopes up, as they want to hear about his past as a guard, much to his enjoyment.
