scp-[----] exploratory campaign beta
day one
Load Full Storyplease speak clearly into the microphone.
"this thing? okay."
please describe what happened in the mirror.
"well, it started as a regular day. well, as regular as you can get working for the foundation."
"so. here we are." i'm not gonna lie. the mirror was kind of intimidating. to my left was my wife and fellow agent-
you were married?
"yeah. i know it's against regulation, but the higher-ups agreed to it, as long as we were willing to still put protocol before our union..."
... i see. please continue.
my wife, and the four D-classes were to my left. to my right were the scp's, scp-181 being the closest.
"hey." i looked over and 181 was looking at me. "pretty creepy huh?"
"yeah." i remember swallowing loudly enough that i'm pretty sure that the entire room could hear it.
we have also learned that scp-128 had stowed away as well. did you have knowledge of this?
"yes and no. we didn't know until we had arrived, and even then not until the third day."
my wife nudged my shoulder and looked ahead.
i nodded and doctor phineas, the doc overseeing the experiment told us to step into the portal one by one. we did, and what a trip. have you ever taken pot and acid at the same time? well that's what it felt like, but only for a moment.
i remember a bright flash of swirling blue light, then waking up in a basement.
a basement?
"it looked like one."
i gasped awake, and coughed. the first thing i noticed was my gun, about a foot away from me. the second thing a noticed when i reached for it. i had no hand. i screamed like a girl.
what happened to your hand?
"it wasn't severed, or anything. it had turned to a hoof.
a hoof? you're shitting me.
"no seriously. all of my limbs turned to hooves. i had become tiny horse. along with everyone else. except, of course, scp-181."
what happened to scp-181?
"i dunno. he became... an amalgamation of creatures. still had his goatee though."
my screaming woke everyone else up. and eventually everyone else was screaming. my wife was the first one to calm down.
"okay, okay. everyone, keep calm. there's no blood, so we can assume that none of our limbs had been cut off." if my wife's good at anything, it's calming people down.
"i dunno, miss, but this pretty weird." 181 seemed pretty happy with the transformation. none of the other scp's seemed scared either.
i decided to speak up right then "weird or not, we have to figure out where we are, and hopefully what we have become."
"it looks like... ponies."
"what?"
and the basement door opened.
and what happened?
"well, it's not easy to explain."
"rainbow, i'm telling you. the mirror is completely safe."
i put up a hand, er, hoof, and we raised our guns and aimed at the doorway.
"and i'm telling you, twilight, i have a bad feeling!"
twilight and rainbow? those were their names?
"yeah, i didn't believe it either."
and how was it that you were able to lift and fire the guns with no hands?
"... i don't know. twilight said something about latent magic, or something."
needless to say, we didn't go over very well. lots of screaming.
