Arcanus Lexicon is not like normal unicorns. His interest lay in the realm of nature, as far from magic as possible. For years, he has sought out the creatures and critters of Equestria, seeking to build the most extensive bestiary that has ever existed. However, such a task is no small matter. One must not only document all the existing creatures, but search for the most legendary and elusive. How does one go about this? Trial and error, and his journey has just begun!
